    If we see the graph for total energy it was slightly going up. But total energy is always constant. What could be the reason behind slight positive slope of that graph?

    Good afternoon. Thank you very much for the tutorial video, thanks to them I have become much better at modeling. I have one questions for you:
    1) Please advise which material model can be used to model a polymer material (sealant, mastic), for example, such as is used for vibration isolation of the car body or for sealing the seams of the cooling system of the car. I am very grateful and grateful to you in advance. You're doing a wonderful job!!

    Excellent video! thank you! I have a general question - where do i get the data for Mass Density and other parameters for various materials? I have looked thru LS-DYNA docs but didn't see this info readily available. Would appreciate your help!

    • @Aeroswap
      @Aeroswap  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Paul,
      This data is indeed hard to find. It is only available on some online material databases. If you know such material databases, you will have no trouble in getting all the required material parameters.

    • @paulmax6275
      @paulmax6275 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @Aeroswap
      @Aeroswap  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do not know of any specific database. For this analysis, the values were taken from a research paper.

    Hello Brother! Thanks for another helpful video. I have a doubt that how can I know which specific card image should I use out of various card images while assigning sections, materials, etc. in my LS DYNA model. Thank You

    • @Aeroswap
      @Aeroswap  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ashwani,
      This knowledge comes only through experience. Try to perform as many analyses as possible and use different settings for each case. That way, you will get a better understanding of all the control cards available.

  • @prakharmishra3726
    @prakharmishra3726 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @8:58 the shape factor should be +1 instead of -1 because in LS Dyna, *LOAD_BODY_Y assumes the force to act in the direction opposite to the direction of applied acceleration. Here, since acceleration is defined in the +y direction so its corresponding force will act in the -y direction automatically. SF=-1 will make the gravity to act in upward direction.

      This error is related to the parts in the model. Please check whether every part has the correct card image, material and section assigned. This will resolve the issue.

    so we create the setup in hypermesh but we run the simulation in LS dyna?

    • @Aeroswap
      @Aeroswap  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, Hypermesh is a preprocessor and postprocessor that works with multiple solvers. It is just to set up the analysis and postprocess the results. The solver is what actual computes the results.

      Yes, LS Dyna needs to be installed separately. It is not included in the Hypermesh installation.

    Bro do a video on how to deal with fillets and chamfer in analysis. Should we delete them or keep

    • @Aeroswap
      @Aeroswap  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fillets and chamfers should be removed for every analysis unless the results are getting significantly affected by stress concentration along geometry edges. In that case, you can use the geometry with fillets and chamfers.

      As correctly mentioned by Aeroswap, the field of CAE is vast and the selection of your final year project will depend on your personal interests, or the future work path you would like to consider applying to. I'll try to help by proposing the following possible projects:
      - Composite optimization of a given structure
      - Non linear buckling of a composite panel
      - Study of delamination or crack propagation in a aerospace structure (for example a stiffened panel)
      Good luck with your choice.

      Try using a constant value of 1 in the load curve for a time duration greater than total runtime of the analysis. Then use the scale factor equal to gravitational acceleration value.
      This may seem weird but it works with LS Dyna.
