Many many notes and great technique, but failing the Old Grey Whistle test. In a word it gets boring.

I've listened to this tune for decades on smooth jazz FM stations without realizing that it was originally penned by Carlos......I am dumbfounded. I always thought this was a smooth jazz horn/brass player's tune, as many of them have covered it, but little did I know this was a guitarist's virtuoso composition......learn something new every day I suppose........
