For me using GK 2 CD 2 WB and balance shape is better in defending.. Not so much conceding

I don't mean to be disrespectful but it didn't work for me. My team is Manchester City. I've tried it in 4 games and I've lost all 4 games, conceding 16 goals and only scoring 2. I was humbly thrashed 5-1 by Everton,the poorest team in the League, currently sitting number 20. It didn't work for me.
