So odd question. But since youre in the park and dont really need the pedal assist as much, were you able to just turn the bike off and pedal around? Or did you feel like having the motor on helped with some sections of DH trail?
left the bike on for the whole day! Really liked the extra speed boost i could get out of corners when i'd braked too much going into/round them haha, didn't want to go full ham into every trail because i was riding everything blind, so being about to get back up to good speed after being cautious on the brakes really helped imo! The only thing i don't like for riding downhill is motor overrun, it's amazing for uphill imo, but downhill i need to use a mode with zero or very little overrun, but luckily you can tune all that in the Avinox app which is sick... Hope that helps!
Great vid! Good to see a very skilled rider taking the Amflow on some challenging terrain. It shows us that it can handle more or less anything that exists in the UK. Agree with you on changing to the new Schwalbe radials. I have them on my current bike and the grip is next level. What bar and stem were you running? Were they the stock ones?
Thank you! Yeah the bike is very capable even straight out the box which is cool! nice which Schwalbes did you fit on yours, the new Albert? and yep the bike was fully stock :)
@@willgreenfield Shreddas front and rear, my thoughts were just to try them out to see how much grip they give and I have found them excellent on the loamy stuff but surprisingly really good on the hard pack. However, I am nowhere near the skill level of yourself so have not reached its limits on the front on the hard pack yet. Please note, the tyres actual height due to the big knobs and I presume new carcass design does not give you much frame clearance at the rear, about 3-4mm 🤔
Can’t wait for my Pl pro to be delivered.. one question and I hope you’ll bother to answer me please 🙏 How is the battery? How many kilometres before it dies? How long it’ll last? Thank you and safe ride
@@samaxel_19 hi! I've got the 600wh battery in my personal bike, and get about 30km from a full charge using a mixture of trail and turbo mode, there's not a lot of elevation at my local trails (surrey hills, uk) though so have to take that into consideration, and I'm about 70kg. Hope that helps!
Honestly Its great how it is as a trail bike, but if you wanted to ride some really hardcore tracks then here's what i'd change: - Brakes, bigger rotors or something more powerful like Maven for example - Tyres, Maxxis dissector on the rear was not ideal 😅 really liking the new Schwalbe Radial tyres so would love to put a set of them on! - Suspension, if you really wanted to take the bike to the next level, a 170mm fork and a coil would be a cool upgrade for sure
@@craigjones3929 it's possible to do, Rob Rides EMTB has done it to his bike... but would possibly void the warranty? Not certain right now though, sorry!
The brakes are extremely squeaky, one of the reasons i've stayed away from Maguras in general, as the squeaking always ruins audio for videos... not sure if thats the squeak you're referring to though
Really interesting and great to see the silver underdog version in action. Guaranteed giving more beans that I probably will pal 🤔👍 I went with the silver (due anytime) as I have a list of upgrade parts to swap out. Zipp Moto 3zero wheelset wrapped in Magic Mary and Big Betty rubber. Xx AXS T type transmission, Axs Reverb dropper, Sram Code Ultimate Stealth brakes and Oneup carbon bars. Ergon saddle and grips. Not sure how the suspension will be as used to RockShox but will see how I get on with it 🤔 Nice to see you hitting the trails, Rob Rides Emtb channel has a skilled rider in its line up. Ride often and stay safe pal. 👌👍
Hope Amflow realise your vids are going to be the main advert for the bike! Great flow at 5:20 !
@@eoinsmostlybikevideos4519 thank u boss, that was a fun bit of trail!
Well that was a white knuckle ride, first proper real world application I’ve seen on the Amflow so far.
Yeah was very lucky to be able to test it in Whistler! Thanks for watching 🤝
Nice one! How well did the rear end hold up with the small shock on the long descents? ✌🏻

i just hope that DJI will come up with their own gearbox that would be the final form of ebikes
would be very cool, gearbox is the way for sure
Any clue what the maximum rear rotor size on the Amflow? Wondering if I can buy a 220mm rotor for it. If anyone knows 😁
Insane riding skills!

Will has gone electric. Do you let electric better than pedal bike?
This is a pedal bike, the only way it will move is to pedal or coast downhill.
Why? Is other emtb wont survive?
no just because a lot of people are doubting this bike!
