Great Video. I really appreciate how you speeded up the video, and talked about marking the batting next time so you know where not to spray! You were precise and to the point which I truly appreciate! Now I'm off to the garage to spray for the first time!
You are very welcome. IF you have a design wall that is larger than your quilt, you can also baste it vertically. Check out this video.....th-cam.com/video/SOEAiroiT-c/w-d-xo.html
Do you like the Hobbs fusible batting more than the June tailor fusible? If I could get on my hands and knees it would be great. Getting on the floor anymore is over. So I have to look for alternatives.
Hi Anna. I didn't like the June Tailor because I didn't find it to be repositionable....once it was ironed down it wasn't moving!! The Hobbs will reposition. I even took one apart after a year and re-did it and the fusible worked great. I also know that my days of crawling on the floor are definitely limited!!!
Hi Sheila. Yes, it is a lap quilt that was given to some of the kids at our local battered women's shelter. I am excited that you are new to quilting. You might check out my website and daily blog ( www.francesquilts.com ). I share lots of tips and techniques!! Please let me know if I can help you as you learn!!!

I hope that your basting session went well!!!
That is exactly what I needed to learn. Thank you!

I enjoyed how you put the quilt
your garage floor must be mighty clean, very pretty quilt.
There are a few areas that are clean enough!!!
I'm about to use the spray for the first time. Wish me luck!!! Lol thank you for your video. 🥰
Good luck!!! If you run into questions, send me an email....francesquilts@gmail.com

Does anyone have the pattern for this quilt? It’s so pretty ❤
I am sorry that I don't have the pattern. It was made by our guild charity bee!!
Wow! That would be a very expensive method for me as I’d have to have my garage floor totally redone to be clean enough!!! LOL
Hi Linda. Believe me, there is only a SMALL portion of my garage floor that is clean enough!!! I have also done this outside on the driveway!!
Music to loud. Better with mo music or just lower volume. Good tip. Thank you.
How dobyou wash it so the stifness goes away?
I have never felt like it was that stiff but I do wash my quilts when I am finished. I just wash them on a gentle cycle with a mild soap
This is really helpful. However, you should lose the music, because it's really annoying to try to listen to you with the music in the background.
Thanks for watching and also for the input. I am still in the learning process when it comes to videos and I certainly appreciate any thoughts!!!
