I have never had such an easy time to get out of bronze as when I played this season on the first day. wish I would've stayed in bronze longer tho. silver is just constant CV ebola
@@aml1ma I tried out some cruisers which arent from the big 4 at first, but that wasnt really my thing. so I decided to go back to my comfort class which would be BBs. but still wanting to try out some new things so I went for the russian tech tree and played Izmail all the way. won a lot of matches very quickly. now in silver (still in bronze rank 1 but its practically silver so whatever) stilly russian tech tree with Vladivostok. and apart from annoying CVs sometimes its a really good time

just came off like a 10 game winning streak. got from rank 8 to rank2, needed 1 more game to get to silver qualifying, and my team suicided. me versus 4 ships. one of my BBs, a repulse, chased down and was sunk by an enemy t61, and I just had to shake my head. I had the guy spotted, so it's not like the top threat was a surprise.
Elbing is a shit DD, but great light cruiser and quite fun to play. Good ship. Z-52 got powercreeped giga hard over the years. There is worse out there, buuuuut ... you might just want to get a Daring instead if you want a Hydro DD. Don't get me wrong, it can still work, especially in cap focused modes like ranked, but you gotta have some hands. 6km Hyrdo is the only thing this thing still got going for it.
What commander did he use on T-61 here? It's not Kiara from Hololive EN, cause she's on the Tier X destroyer, Elbing. More than likely, it's probably one of the ship-girls from the many AL collabs that WoWs has had.
Azur Lane handles AA and ASW mechanics better than World of warships bro - try it out and see! lol Funny how "anime is cringe", but Wargaming selling you overpriced "premium ships" with useless AA isn't?
I honestly don't understand why people gripe and complain so much about CVs and Subs. Yes, I understand that controllable planes proved to be on the OP side of things after the rework, but after the several nerfs to them people still bitch and complain about them. Subs honestly have such a tough learning curve that they are near impossible to play at times, but I do agree that their annoying in terms of trying to kill them with depth charges and the constant sonar pings annoys the hell out of me...but their torp damage isn't anywhere near as strong as say a DD. It's just dumb that people want these changes to the game, yet complain when they come out.
Counter-play is an integral part of any gaming experience, players like having some tools to deal with most situations. In the case of CVs and Subs it's entirely out of the players hands, you can only hope the sub/cv player is bad, because if he isn't, you have no real tools against him, regardless of what you play. This leads to understandable frustration, hence the situation the game is in now. Being killed by someone objectively worse than you at the game, because of the class he plays, has always been an issue in every PvP game ever.
The subs thing is just bandwagon stuff. People think they are way stronger and/or unfair than they are. But the CV thing is totally justified. Carriers are brokenly OP [and always have been]. They have no place in this game. Battles with carriers are simply worse/less fun than battles without.
@@EllieBanks333 the problem with subs is that they break the one advantage that DDs have over other classes which is concealment. And the to make it worse, DDs are the least effective ASW platform in the game. Imagine learning how to work on the dge of concealment, one slip away from being spotted and dead and then a class comes along that can spot you at 3k and shoot you and you still cant see it.
