Since about mid-june I, and many others, have not been able to see availability or book united domestic flights on TK using star award tickets. I have checked periodically with multiple destinations and nothing. Others have called and the agents have stated no available space. I thought this would have been fixed sooner or heard an announcement that this award space was being discontinued. This was a sweet spot for domestic travel in the US and I would be very sad to see it go permanently. Hopefully we find some resolution soon!
For the Hawaii example, shouldn’t there technically be availability for the flight since United says they have saver award availability? I’ve heard this is simply a glitch on Turkish’s website and calling them to book can be a workaround for the “fully booked” saver award flights.

I'm not logged into UA and I don't have a UA card. However, when I do the second portion of the itinerary from Kona to Denver, I am seeing that space. And when I do the Honolulu to Kona search on Turkish, I see nothing. If this is saver space on United, is it bookable through turkish, but I just have to call or email them? I am surprised more people are not talking about this. Using TK to book united flights for 15k round trip domestic economy was a sweet spot I am not ready to give up quite yet.
the domestic routes have been super sparse lately. I've had the most luck finding flights to Europe for clients using Turkish (45k points pp ow in business class).
Is it possible to merge domestic United flights with the TK itineraries from US to Europe/Asia? This would avoid having to book a separate positioning flight from a smaller airport.
@@geobreezetravel okay, so it’s something that just needs to be tested by calling an agent. I know AA is very picky about adding partner segments to existing itineraries bc of married segment logic but hoping TK is more flexible in that regard
I set up a Turkish Airlines acct and I am unable to log in. It’s not accepting login with my email address (where I received the confirmation email) or phone number, and when I try to enter the membership # they sent, it does not accept the letters or all the numbers. I even tried resetting my password and it’s still not working 😢
and you set your password to have 6 numbers and only 6 numbers? Their website is definitely glitchy sometimes, and it's frustrating when I just need to come back the next day to see if my log in works.
I tried this using IAH and trying Hawaii, Lima, and DC, lots of dates- the answer is always, sorry, no suitable flights can be found. I never see the sold out page your example showed. Am i doing something wrong or is there just nothing from Houston?
Turkish's website has been glitchy lately, but that's a pretty difficult route to find. You could also try finding it through Singapore Airlines as a partner flight with United. It costs a little bit more, but award availability is better.

In the first example, do you actually fly Turkish to Hawaii, or do you fly United to Hawaii, just booked through the Turkish website?
correct. It is a United flight booked through Turkish for cheaper than United charges on its own website.

you can oftentimes call Turkish to confirm if there is availability if you're seeing it on United, though their hold times can be crazy long

They might be able to do this type of ticketing over the phone, but I wasn't able to get it to ticket that way online.

Update: I tried New York as the from and still got nothing but there are tons of Saver flights avail on United. I don't know what I'm missing.
