Found one of these in grandpappy's shoebox. Also from the 70s. Had a box of ammo with it, missing just 6 rounds. Practically mint-in-box. It's now my wife's carry gun.
Every time I see another video posted, I look forward to watching it. With all of the guntubers doing run and gun style videos, it’s refreshing to have a normal range day style video.
I don`t do fancy videos. I just take the camera along when I go to the range, and if there are not many people there, I`ll get a little of the shooting on camera. If there are several people there, I just shoot without the camera.
The crown jewel of my collection is my M & P pre-model 10 snubnose manufactured in 1948. It has the diamond grip and square butt. I don't shoot it often, but frequently gaze at it in admiration.
I got two of these beauties. Both 10-5 snubbies, one round and the other square. Both have original boxes and in really nice shape, especially the round butt gun. Nice to see these snubbie videos!
@@1957Shep I'm tempted to carry it, but it's just not something you find every day; especially in that condition. I'd been looking for one over five years.

You should do a video with it sometime.

I have a blued 10-5 made in 1973. They are on the heavier side, however that makes them very accurate and tames the recoil.
They are nice revolvers.

@@1957Shep Maybe.
I got a 10-7 snub, blued, early 80s vintage. Love it. I'd really like a nickel plated, however. They just look beautiful.
They are a lot less common than the blued ones, but not rare.
A nice example of S&W Goodness !
Glad you liked it!

Thanks
I've got a blued 10-5 snub and recently missed out on a nickel plated one. They are great guns for concealed carry in that configuration.
Just went over to your channel and found a video of it. Looks to be in nice condition.

Love these lil guns, wish I could find a blued prelock 10-6, I'm sure I'll find one eventually
Good luck.
Nice S&W
Thanks 👍
Got a dash 7 that looks like that thing's identical twin. Fine little workhorse of a machine.
Don`t know how many M&Ps/Model 10s S&W has made over the years, but has to several million.
Nice sub nose model 10 in nickel , I have a model 10 no dash subnose and I have a 64-5 subnose. Always nice to see a snubby.
Thanks
Your videos are greatly appreciated, I look forward to them 🙂👍☕
Glad you like them!
Mine was made in 1948 and is fine and fun.
You should do a video with it sometime.
That is a very nice revolver and hard to find model too.
The short barreled ones are less common, but not rare. Local shop has 2 of them right now. Both blue, but one of them has had the hammer bobbed.
I always enjoy your videos; short and to the point. Too many firearms videos on here are way too long.
Some people can be entertaining for half an hour at a time. But I`m not one of them, so I don`t try to be. :-)
@@1957Shep a lot of people think they are entertaining for that long. Not that many actually are. Lol
Very nice, Shep! 😍 I really like that round butt grip! 👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻
Thanks
Nice
Thanks
Are you Jerry Miculek??? Same voice.
I have a model 10-5 with a serial num of D 249
D249 would have been made in 1968.
