Stock will have a smoother ride. You failed to mention that.

If you also change out to coilovers or more aggressive spring/shock setup the ride could be stiffer. But just upgrading to tubular arms would not decrease the ride quality.

I am adding your tubular control arms to my Chevelle. Do I need to add my stock spacers back in?

I just got the PTK-4 kit for my 72 El Camino. I took a look at the upper control arms and the cross shafts look extra think. I'm thinking these are naturally going to give the front end negative camber naturally, with no way of adding camber. Why are these so thick?

I understand these tubular control arms are narrowed 1” for the 88-98 Chevy c1500 OBS. It states that it helps with fender and tire clearance.
But some of us who have 15” wheels don’t have all of our turning radius due to rubbing on control arms.
Would these help with that clearance issue when turning all the way right or left.

That would be a great question for one of our sales reps. You can reach them at (866)-882-4131

Ummmmmmm obviously the stamped control arms bushings will have play like u showed. They did that on purpose to aid in rise comfort. It's like solid engine mount vs normal engine mounts. Yeah the solid mounts won't budge but they will sure as hell give you a very bumpy ride

Hi Mark. We do sell tubular control arms for many full-size GM cars from that period but, you'll have to call and speak to one of our sales reps to confirm that we sell arms that work on your vehicle specifically. You can reach us at (800)-522-5004
