We just came in canada 2 weeks ago, in we found an apartment here in mississauga, particularly in Bartholomew crescent, there's so much to explore and i think the places here eally hits me home, back in the Philippines. The surroundings and lots of green spaces which i love the most as a cyclist. I think ill like here for a while. Thanks for creating this content Rochelle
Homeowner by Mavis & Eglinton for a long time. Mississauga was a quieter and cleaner city 20 years ago, and its still good city today. If you can get a home in the top 10 areas then go for it. (Mineola, Port Credit, Streetsville, Sheridan, Lorne Park, Mississauga Road, Eglinton & Mississauga Road, Old Derry Road, Lakeview, south Clarkson). Avoid Malton and the entire Derry Road strip !
Couldn't last in Sauga for even a year. Coupled with the fact that I moved there when COVID 19 first hit in 2020, the extreme isolation coupled with the usual problems of Suburb living really broke me mentally. Hate that place.
Used to be nice area when I grew up there, kinda silver town where retired seniors enjoyed their rest of life with pension whereas no longer the place that used to be... overpopulated way too much. But for newcomers, a good spot to start their new life in Canada
What!? There’s a bus every 10 minutes, that’s unheard of in America! Also, the bus drivers don’t care, they’ll run you over, just to get to their destination!😱
Which neighborhood would be the most appropriate for a family with people working at the airport and kids at school in the West of York (French School)? Etobicoke, Vaughan, Mississauga?
Hi, Have heard a lot of a certain Religious dominance in schools n also parks and restrict people not from that Belief to not come to parks or turn to that Religion. Can you shed light more on the latest Picture here.
Mississauga WAS a beautiful place to live before it became Toronto Part 2. What's the point of moving to the suburbs if the population increase turns it into a "downtown core".
I lived in Mississauga all my life.. it was great during the 90s and early 2000s.. well balance of different cultures. However lots of Musl__ms and Indians moved here and now some particular areas are stinky.

I'm so sorry to hear!
It’s already done it’s number on me sadly
Try Brampton
the place may think the same about you! LOL
So you isolated like the government told you. You should hang around with people who socialize regardless of government brain washing !

When Hazel was mayor, it was the best place on Earth.
When there werent tidal waves of 3rd world immigrants taking over the neighbourhoods - it was the best place on earth.
Looks like a big city instead of a suburb

Mississauga is the 7 most populated city in canada
Philip Pocock CSS like if you know
straight up 🧢 (i respect your opinion though)
would help if you actually knew how to pronounce Mineola [m ih n - ee - OH - l ah]
Not [m ih n-ee - YOH - l ah]
why the awful musak noise
The sprinklers drowned out my audio
@@LivingInToronto thanks for your reply, Rochelle though I was referring to the music dear
wow, that’s cheap. From Vancouver🥲

It’s so sad all the development has changed it so much. Also all the work they are doing on Hurontario and the traffic 😭
The problem is that it has all of the drawbacks of a city with NONE of the benefits.
