Arabs have a weird thing about the way they sing that I just love so freaking much xD I generally agree with the ranking, Even though I, personally would've put French or Arabic at the first place for Odete, but I agree with your Dereks ♡__♡
Ernesto and Roberto are both amazing! I am so glad you like them both!!! And the Italian pop version of "Because I love her" (sung by the great Claudio Basili) is wonderful too ^_^
Oh my God, a Derek ranking! I wasn't expecting that from you but I'm so happy you did it! Swedish and Italian are the best, indeed! As far as it concerns me, I maybe prefer Swedish Derek a little bit... ;) Not much change concerning Odette and it's totally OK for me (Bénédicte is still 2nd, he he)!
Thank you for all Polish placements. :P Wow, the TV dubbing is finally found?! Cool! Actually, I can't say if I agree or disagree with your opinion, because I'm not familiar with Odette's voices and I have never watched this movie, so... :D Only the last place was obvious to me and it wasn't a big surprise. Her last note here sounds like a braking train, lol. Great ranking, as always. ;)
It's so nice seeing another video from you. Amazing as always! Thank you so much for Castilian! This will always be my favourite Ángela's role, I will forever love her here. I can still remember how every little girl in school wanted to sing like her in this movie and I still understand why. It's just gorgeous. Also thank you so much for Italian in Derek's part, he is wonderful, isn't he? But I mean, it is Italy I would not expect less from their castings hahaha
The Derek's Italian singer is NOT Ernesto Brancucci, Ernesto was one of those who made years ago some translations for songs etc, though he was Pumba's singing voice and also Dodger's voice, here it's Daniele Viri the same singer for Moses, Joseph and Simba. and I admit he is the BEST for Derek, you're totally right. His voice is so passionate for ALL roles he had. Thanks for Italian Odette, she is amazing
Apparently, actually Daniele Viri IS Ernesto Brancucci, that was his stage name. So yeah, he's at the same time the singing voice of Dodger, Derek, Simba and the others. And he was also Pumbaa's speaking and singing voice this time yeah, credited under his other stage name : Ermavilo
Nope.... You are confusing a lot... I tell you they are DISTINCT voice actors. Ermavilo is his other stage voice, yes, BUT definetely he is not Daniele Viri. I was looking around some italian sites, they are NOT the same person, sorry. Ernesto was born in 1947, while Viri a lot later. Dodger's singing voice is a different voice comparing to Derek's one. Though Viri was part of the choir in some songs that Ernesto sang, but they are NOT the same ;)
@@charguigou actually after many years, we found out that the real Italian singing voice for Derek was provided by Luigi Sbriccoli Fontana. Ernesto's voice can only be heard in the song Princess on parade. Luigi confirmed on his website that he did the singing voice of Derek.
@@charguigou it's a long story. Ernesto has been the official Italian music director and lyricist from Snow White's Italian 2nd dub until the Lion King (some of them in cooperation with Mr. Carapellucci) . After it, he stopped with Disney and directed the music dubbing of Anastasia, Thumbelina, Swan Princess, Magic Sword and others. He got back to the Disney company only in 2001 (his daughters have been replacing him since The Princess and the frog- one of them is Lorena Brancucci, Nala's singing voice) . Being also an amazing singer, he sang for many roles when it was needed: for example, when the singer who was previously cast wasn't available anymore or rejected (it happened with Pumba). Ernesto didn't like that people could see his name everywhere during the final credits (music director, lyricist, voice actor, etc.) so he invented many nicknames that he used when he sang. One of them was Daniele Viri who was wrongly attribueted to Derek's singing voice during the end credits of Swan Princess. That's why his name appeared next to Derek's voice on the internet. Now we know that the real singer is Luigi.
0:15 The Canadian French version of "This is my idea" still scares me because of the long echo at the end of the song! xD Kaori Asoh voices Odette in the 2D animated sequels but the Japanese songs aren't easy to find on TH-cam!
Uau! Thanks for 12th Derek. Many people consider it as him worst role. But I like as you. I like so much him as Quasimodo and Dimitri (Anastasia) and John
Lovely ranking ^-^ I'm glad to see Katarzyna high, I loved her Odette at once! I'd maybe place Korean a lil higher but it's no big deeal haha. I agree with your top 10 besides Jannike, and thanks a lot for Rasha's and Asim's places and the nice comments :D
I put Korean, Gilda, Norwegian (Cristine), Jana Werner, Liz, Michelle, Alice, Katarzyna higher I put Kenmotsu, Sandra, Yolanda, Outi, Sofía, Beata, Olga, Bénédicte lower
Yay an Odette ranking, a great video again :D It's great to listen Beata in this role, even if she lost a bit of the charm she had as Ariel and Miriam, she remains pure, tender and moving :) My main disagreements would be Jana Werner and Liz Callaway who are among my top favorites. And I agree that they are very similar, I actually think that for both Odette and Anastasia, Jana is the closest voice to Liz. The "singing to kids" kind of singing I hear that more with Angela Aloy IMO^^ I agree that Shlomit isn't at her best here but it's impossible to dislike her. Russian, Arabic, Polish, Slovak, Czech and French are also among my favorites :) For me too Bénédicte and Katia are the most precious voices of my childhood :D P.S : For the 1st place, you wrote Odette in all the comment and then you finished by "My favorite Juliette" xD About Derek's voices I'm not very familiar with them (infact I don't really pay attention to his voices when I listen the song and maybe I should), but I'm glad you didn't include the French voice who is not that great IMO, too sugary and his vibrato is too much IMO, a bit like Emmanuel Dahl as Flynn Rider ;)
Russian Derek sounds so cringy😂❤️I love the Russian Odette, and the spanish one. France really knows the singers that must be used in every movie; and Liz Callaway is just as fluid as water, love her so much❤️Even If many dislike her and find her a lot childish, I really like Marjorie's voice in her roles (Odette, Belle, Thumbelina and Princess Daria). And thank you so much for Ernesto and Roberto, I love them too❤️
Hey, what an awesome ranking! :D Thank you for last place, again x) (Oui, je le prends en riant.)
:P Si tu as vu les Têtes à Claques, comment t'as trouvé ça ? ^^'
Really Beautiful Ranking, Thank you for 27th place and 10th place! (Korean) The Korean singer sounds too touching for me.^^ And I totally agree with your number one! She is my number one, too! Nice editing, I love you very much!
I never saw this movie before but I know a lot of the voices. Big agree on last place...it sounds very cheaply made like it was done off in a closet someday. Never knew there was another Russian one...mistake to have made it probably. I think Liz Callaway is pretty great but I wish Michelle Nicastro did the singing in the first movie too, her voice is more unique than Liz. Did know that Elsa came back for Odette in Polish, she's good on the ears but I don't think she's as much of a natural fit as she was with Elsa. Wait there's THREE Polish Odettes? Interesting how extremely different they all are yet they all kinda work in their own way. Agree a lot with your Shlomit comments. Odette is one of the best roles for Jana Marasova I think. Benedicte :D Never paid attention to the sequel voices but honestly I don't find a single one of them, except English, actually sounds like Odette singing. It just sounds like a weird soloist every shot.
I have used all the words I know to describe your rankings and yet everytime I am speechless! I don't know how to describe it. We have our disagreements, for example Liz and Jana would be much higher for me. I also disagree with Beata's place, I knew she would be in your top 10, personally I believe that she is good but not as good as Olga in that role, she would be high for me but not in the top 10. We share the same love for Tat'yana, how beautiful she is, perfect in every note!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Thank you for your nice comments about the Greek version! She is out of tone, I agree, but the lyrics are so beautiful and she delivers such emotion that I don't pay so much attention on her unprofessional singing Your first male ranking! I am impressed! You should do another one like this! We have our disagreements here as well, but Derek is mostly a very well-casted character, I believe. Roberto is a worthy winner! Sometimes I feel like I am listening Alex Panayis, their voices are very close. I have listened three performances of Roberto, this one, Moses and Simba. I believe that as Derek he is gorgeus. Marcello and Tomas shine here. I disagree with the Polish, he is good generally, but as Derek he confuses me. I have mix feelings about it.
Yes, I'm from Russia. In my opinion it's "в зимний вечер когда-то" it means "in the winter evening sometime" and so translated in the Russian dubbing. However, if translated literally, it means "Однажды в декабре"
A bit disappointed by Dutch place (she's one of my favorite version every non/Disney movie included) but the rest of the top 15 worthed it :) I'm just not so fond of Russian. She's nice but a bit shouty for me :/ And about Derek, I'm happy not to see the French singer. I've always found his voice ridiculous ^^
OH BONUS! Well I know you're nowhere near as into men voices as women but since Odette's songs always have Derek parts, you undoubtedly get used to them eventually. Oh Korean makes a great duet, the two of them together sounds extremely Fairytale if that makes sense. Is the polish one husband or sibling to the Odette of that dub? TROND. I rarely love Norwegian as much as I do from his mouth.
Lattle Lenso it seems not :( well china and Taiwan didn't dub Anastasia either and it was a bigger film, but Hong Kong did, so I was hoping so; but Hong Kong didn't dub Thumbelina either, depends of the popularity of the movie I guess
And the Italian pop version of "Because I love her" (sung by the great Claudio Basili) is wonderful too ^_^
Beautiful ranking as usual^^ I pretty much agree with your opinion about Odette's voices, and thank you for Marjorie's place
Yeah! Finally we could hear polish TV. Awww right in the childhood c;
I am glad that you do remake of this ranking.
Beautiful video! Thank you so much for the Italian placements and your kind words :).

Thank you sooo much for 16th, 6th and 5th place! ❤️ ;**
Really Beautiful Ranking, Thank you for 27th place and 10th place! (Korean)
The Korean singer sounds too touching for me.^^
And I totally agree with your number one! She is my number one, too!
Nice editing, I love you very much!
Oh my God, where did you find Polish TV? I've been dying to hear it for years now.
Thank you :D!
Benedicte :D
Never paid attention to the sequel voices but honestly I don't find a single one of them, except English, actually sounds like Odette singing. It just sounds like a weird soloist every shot.
Where you found Russian dubbing on 0:25?
I have used all the words I know to describe your rankings and yet everytime I am speechless! I don't know how to describe it.
We have our disagreements, for example Liz and Jana would be much higher for me. I also disagree with Beata's place, I knew she would be in your top 10, personally I believe that she is good but not as good as Olga in that role, she would be high for me but not in the top 10.
We share the same love for Tat'yana, how beautiful she is, perfect in every note!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you for your nice comments about the Greek version! She is out of tone, I agree, but the lyrics are so beautiful and she delivers such emotion that I don't pay so much attention on her unprofessional singing
Your first male ranking!
Anastasia Pat thank you very much :)
charguigou You're welcome, dear! :3
charguigou There is no excuse that I forgot to inform you, Theodoros Dimitrief, the voice of Trust and Casim, died in 25th December 2016.
Anastasia Pat lol relax that's okay, it's no big deal :)
Russian
She's just totally amazing !
yes! Her voice is very beautiful and deep, and I think she's perfect like Odette
Hey, you're Russian right ? I wanted to know, how would you translate the sentence "once upon a december" in Russian please ?
Yes, I'm from Russia. In my opinion it's "в зимний вечер когда-то" it means "in the winter evening sometime" and so translated in the Russian dubbing. However, if translated literally, it means "Однажды в декабре"
Cool, I wanted a Russian translation of the English lyrics, not the Russian ones. It's for my next video :) Thanks a lot !
Raquel Marinho e Marco Antônio Abreu dublar os cantores Odette e Derek
A bit disappointed by Dutch place (she's one of my favorite version every non/Disney movie included) but the rest of the top 15 worthed it :) I'm just not so fond of Russian. She's nice but a bit shouty for me :/ And about Derek, I'm happy not to see the French singer. I've always found his voice ridiculous ^^
Also, in the end you typed Made my Charguigou
Hahaha XD
awesome ! now I think you should do an elsa ranking plzz ;)
Russian Derek sounds so cringy😂❤️
That's so cute!
Cool merci pour la 2eme place ;)
May I ask you were can I find the Polish TV songs of the first movie? I can't find it anywhere :(
It used to be on TH-cam, but not anymore it seems :/ Here's the song : we.tl/t-lNh6uzkHev
@@charguigou Thank you :D
Neither Hong Kong, Taiwan or China dubbed this ?!
Lattle Lenso it seems not :( well china and Taiwan didn't dub Anastasia either and it was a bigger film, but Hong Kong did, so I was hoping so; but Hong Kong didn't dub Thumbelina either, depends of the popularity of the movie I guess
Well............
Hong Kong did dubbed The swan princess..........
But only the last two sequel ........
They didn't dubbed the song though....... I think so..........
