I bought this device last January and until now I'm quite disappointed, it's vers slow, unable to update the firmware and after 4 requests to their technical support, I still didn't get any answer...
Ohhh, that's quite sad. Let me try contacting them and see if we can sort out this issue. Please let me know both the to and from email addresses so that I can reach out to them personally and verify the issue.
Good video as always Harry! To me this device lacks a lot of features compared to Tbox Ambient or MMB max 5.0. No sim card calling/messages. Wifi/hotspot can't be turned at the same time, No developer option so unable to change smallest dpi for landscape apps and a few other bit. Difficult to justify the high price compared to Tbox and other 6225 variants as they can do a lot and way cheaper than this. I also found no stability issues with Carlinkit devices so the cost/benefit ratio is hard to justify. Nevertheless thanks for the good review!
@@HarryWT yeh that seems like a good device. Unfortunately not had a chance to try it. To me 6225 is pretty snappy and good for day to day usage. Yeh if need hdmi out than uhd is a better fit.
Can the OttoAibox P3 be connected to the car and to an external monitor from the hdmi output at the same time? I have a motorhome and I was wondering if I could show the program on the car's own screen and on a separate TV at the same time. And then the sounds would come from the car's own sound system.

I agree with your conclusion. I usually recommend the tbox uhd to everyone and I've been using that daily as well.

Unfortunately, such devices allow using just one device at a time due to their limited power.
how to change the system language? I go to the language settings, I see the list, I press my language and nothing happens.

That should have worked. If it isn't working then I'd recommend you contact customer support maybe the device is faulty.

Alternatively, you can enable the wifi of this device and connect it to a Hotspot enabled mobile phone to get internet access. Both methods work.
