Just bought this vehicle in black. I can’t believe it was under $50,000!! Most other vehicles that I won’t mention that had this many options were 4-8 more grand.
Overall, a very nice-looking vehicle. Handsome wheels. The flat black trim looks really nice with the flat black cladding. Wish the rear window wiper was mounted up under the rear foil. Has a lot of nice options for the $49,000 asking price. There are a number of 4X4 SUV's in or close to this price range so you can shop around and pick something you like. Interest rates and monthly terms vary also. Check the mileage warranties also. Just do your homework and you will drive off with a nice vehicle. Thank you for another great review, Mike.
I got a smoking deal on a 2019 pathfinder with 49000 miles. I use it to drive and haul tools to jobsites,our main Hd GMC van hauls materials. I was using. My 2022 Ram 4x4,and did not like the parking situation in neighborhoods, and wanted to keep Ram it perfect condition. The fuel economy is a plus with the nissan and it looks good, its black with chrome accents. Its actually fairly quick for a midsize SUV. What im not wild about is the front wheel drive,steering can be touchy,but im used to it now. It has accident midacation,had someone pull right out in front of me,i had looked to my left and the idiot just pulled across 2 lanes to get to a median. I turned my head back and there was a side of another SUV directly in front of me. The nissan applied breaks and actually turned to the right to miss the wreak. I was inpressed with that, but it also has some quirky features i can live with. So i may consider a 4 wheel drive version, i would keep the 18 inch rims if possible,and want the lowest rear end ratio they offer. Great towing for this type of SUV. If you run premium gas they get better milage per tank,it adds 11hp and 12 pounds of torque to the engine as well. Having a direct air induction, you can modify size,and do a performance muffler. Maybe tune it to a better throttle response from dead stop. Your not building a race truck, but all the sub 200 hp suvs lack this type of naturally aspirated power. Over all its a good investment, for my needs i would not pay anywhere 50,000 for one. But its a good choice for a family SUV.
Everybody mentions tucking the rear wiper under the roof spoiler for decent reasons but I think it would not work well. I need to see what's on the road behind me not what is in the sky.
The Hyundai santa cruise is a nice looking little truck,with no where near the room of the pathfinder. It is turbo charged 4 cylinder the puts out 281 hp. Im not sold on the brand or the small turbo charged engine. I think their will be problems later on with carbon fouling from cold starts on all of them. But it is a cool looking little truck.
That's an issue for me for me. To get the panoramic roof I have to delete a chair losing passenger. Most people can't fit in the third row so it's pretty much a 4 passenger car. Captain's chairs are useless to me. That's where the pilot has it beat.
Platinum has the window panoramic window with the bench seat coming standard. It actually cost like $550.00 more for optional captains chairs in the Platinum.

That automatic on and off, start and stop i don't like. Thats why i got rid of my 2023 hyundai tucson because it had that feature
You can turn that feature off with the push of a button.
