2:45 is “Chances Are” and wow…… what a beautifully hot rendition! Jack singing very smoothly in his obligatory fashion. This recording has quite a euphoric effect with the arranging and chords. Thanks again for another beautiful upload

Art is how we decorate space........Music is how we decorate time. Thanking You, Prozoot, for letting us see the ‘Jazz Age’ with our hearing. 🤜🤛

....please note, this is a new video, not the same one I posted a few weeks ago. The graphics are the same but the soundtrack has been remade. I feel this great music deserves the best we can give -- my original post had audio problems that I have been working to resolve, and finally, the fix is in place. I hope you guys will enjoy the improvement in sound for take two, with a quieter (artifact-free) background. So sorry I had to lose all the nice comments from the first video. Thanks for your patience and support. I will be remaking 9 of the last videos with improved sound.
....I can't even remember where I found "You're Simply Delish" -- I've had it for so long. It's a great performance; I wish the recording had been made at Columbia with better audio. It must have been exciting for a young Teagarden to have his first credited record as a bandleader. The autographed sticker has me imagining him pasting those yellow slips of paper on a stack of records to be given out as gifts and promotion. To think he actually handled that piece of shellac in 1930 gives special meaning. These great jazz stars were the chosen people -- it's nice to find them full of optimism at the beginning of their journey. The photo appears to be the early 1920s, probably taken in Texas where he grew up with a nurturing musical family.

If you edit in 4K instead of HD you will get much higher bitrates on TH-cam. I´m not sure how it effects the sound though.

THE MUSIC'S SUPERB, BUT THIS (AUDIO QUALITY) DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO THE WESTERN ELECTRIC. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT COMPANY DESIGNED & SOLD IT?
CERTAINLY, AT THE RETAIL PERFECT PRICE (BUDGET) THE COMPANY COULD NOT
PAY THE WESTERN ELECTRIC ROYALTIES & COLUMBIA, FOR THE LAMINATED
PROCESS, COLUMBIA IF THEY'D HAVE BEEN WILLING TO LICENSE IT. THESE
BUSINESS ASPECTS ARE WORTH KNOWING. AS FOR THE MUSIC, IT'S HEAVENLY.
    THANKS FOR POSTING IT!

@@fromthesidelines On top of that, a better orchestral direction. With a beautiful sax solo in the beginning (by Jimmy Dorsey?), and Joe Venuti's marvelous violin afterwards.
