okay but what about when they reprint? because right now prismatic is insane but if they ever over reprint it then they will run the value into the ground
@bluejaynation137 Great question! Whilst reprints can affect the value of sets in the short term, if the set is strong enough, then it will eventually bounce back and with the market and demand so strong at the moment, reprints shouldn’t shake up the prices for too long, if at all, especially a set as strong as Prismatic.
Crown zenith was printed into the ground and is now seeing massive price rises. Even evolving skies was printed loads back in the day and look at it now. They can’t reprint a set forever. Certain sets that got mass reprints but weren’t actually good sets in the end, such as shining fates, did get hurt. But even that is slowly climbing.
If you’re in for the long term then reprints won’t matter all that much. Hope that helps!
