I fucking hate people that do that. I don't jump out of anything unless it is doomed to be destroyed or I jump out and destroy it myself so the enemy can't get it.
jaimeres i die with armor too. Fuck K/D, last matimi0 video about SRAW give up, he stolen a tank in fire (less than 10 health). Never know when a organized squad will attack you, that's why 99% I die with tanks.
Please do a video about squad orders and how they pertain to your squad perks. Follow/set orders=have full squad perks. Camp outside burn/never push q=empty squad perk bar.
MLG PRO TANKER I understand full well how it works, yet in this very video you can see lvlcap doing it wrong. I will commend his sniper squad leader who was doing if right. At least 90% of the squads I join(on pc) the squad leader never sets an order, or will set one or two. Lvlcap is very popular, especially with the bf4 players who don't know the minutia or meta of the game. We have seen every loadout known to man so why not a basic/advanced video highlighting the importance of squad objective play. It isn't like perks are no big deal and shouldn't be worried about, they are game changing and the vast majority of bf4 players spend most of the game with an empty or half filled perk bar. Set the order on your gimme right out of the gate and you will start the Battle with a full perk bar before a shot is fired. Also, if you ever want to get depressed. You can tell how many times someone spots by the number of false orders set.(which is normally zero) Q should be pushed more than lmb1 or w.
Stickbo Most of my teammates aren't even intelligent enough to spawn in consistently, let alone play the objective. It's extremely rare to see orders placed as well.
MrTampon I find it amusing that the only time I see teamwork is when I think of the marketing department. 500 hours of BF4 and the level of teamplay is just something to laugh at. I do play with good players, but every squad is either scattered around the map, burning completely empty flags or cluttered on one flag. The other team happens to have better vehicle players and they just come in, destroy the infantry and move on to support their team. Our team is back in square one, people get frustrated and this continues for hours. Hard to find really objective-oriented rounds these days on Conquest. It's like big-scale domination where people just mind their own business.
MrTampon where the fuck in the instructions or game rules does it say, 'play as a team in multiplayer and tryhard 100%. Dont go jet ramming etc.' In fact where the fuck does it say play the game like this or you will be banned from ea servers. Games are played how the player wants it to be played you nerd
Also, splitting the deck is a great way to turn the tides. If you see that the enemy team have all but one objective, rather than pushing at the front line for the next objective, sneak your way to the farthest objective giving your team a spawn to pincer the enemy team.
Always check your minimap, rape the Q button (spot button), never go alone nor shoot at what you can't hit. These are four tips everyone can follow. Recoil management and flanking skills come once you get more and more familiar with the game. People these days really forget the importance of minimap. Guys, it is a huge advantage, it is your "legal wallhack" that DICE gave to you. Every couple of seconds just switch your sight to the minimap, just to be sure where you are heading and your K/D MUST improve! In close quarters you need to zoom in your minimap and if open areas you zoom out your minimap (N button on PC). Every single weapon in BF4 is great in the hands of a pro. No matter if a pro is using AEK or M416 he will shoot every single target in the distance. You need to learn how to place your shots. I find out that 6 bullet burst on AEK for me works the best for long range engagements, in close quarters I don't even burst, just hold the left mouse button and at the same time drag it to the vertical down position. This was an example of course. Learn how to use weapons that are really hard to control and once you learn that, there won't be a single weapon you won't be accurate with. Test range is awesome for this purpose, practice A LOT !
hRci Exactly, also playing conquest doesn't mean you MUST be an engineer, I usually roll as recon with c4 and motion sensors+ silenced mtar-21, they'll never see you coming if you're careful.
Another tip dont just wonder aimlessly around the map. As soon as you get a point go to another one than repaet always be looking for a enemy objective to capture. this method gets you kills and TONS of points
I try this but I can't seem to make it from one point to another without either getting blown up by a tank or gunned down by an IAV. People I play against always seem to be running engineer class and use the vehicles way too much
@@donovanblanchette6326 I'm a total noob, just started playing on PS4 last night and I haven't got a single clue what I'm doing or where to go. I'm getting absolutely shredded constantly, it's sooo confusing this game. So many markers on the screen it's a mess tbh.
@@bricktop. keep grinding, it's hard in the beginning but you'll get the hang of it. Try to join big squads so you have more people to spawn on if you're playing alone
big tip: spot as many enemies as you can if you're alone next to an objective. others will see that they have a chance to fight and help an objective as the same time
Not pointless. I've only been playing the game for a while, and though I'm naturally good at games and go positive. There is ALOT I don't know about bf4 and the meta. Like I didn't know those conquest points spawned certain vehicles for the team holding it. Like I somewhat knew the helicopter spawned at that one point with the helipad. But wasn't really thinking of it in terms of if I can capture that point my team will get a heli I can use. Small things like that made the video worth watching. For more experienced players I doubt there was any relative info. And the video title does say "pro tips" so that is probably a bit of a stretch but anyways I still found it useful.
I think the #1 thumb rule players need to figure out, is that they NEED to play the objective with the vehicles too. Patrolling with a boat, picking targets here and there with a chopper or shelling with a tank is great and has it's place, but when 80% of the armor drivers avoid objectives like the plague, it gets impossible to enjoy CQ to it's fullest in large maps. It becomes this infantry slug-fest on flags and a game of tag for vehicles outside them.
the AA tank needs a serious nerf , me being a heli beginner i am insta dying agains those things , when i try to destroy it it kills me instantly and people go over 50 killstreak with that cheap overpowered vehicle
I am not sure if it does. That is where your teammates goes in. If you have friend to play with, go ahead and ask them for help. Get a friendly engineer to destroy it. Team work helps a lot.
Reyert Aquino provided the guy using the AA is not camping in his spawn. On large maps, what you said is not really the best option. The AA vs the attack chopper wins every time. The best way would be to get your gunner to shoot TV missiles while you stay back but even then, even if both missiles hit, the AA tank will not die so you need to rush him and try to finish him off. A friendly tank will destroy him quite easily. That is if your team has tanks in position to even shoot at the guy (if he's not spawn camping as i said before) I find it a lil bit unbalanced.
At some points yeah. I guess I am just being a bit luckier than you hehe. I don't always run into things like this. I fly the Attack heli sometimes... Not every time. When my friend tell me to destroy an AA I will. At least try to.
Just try and avoid it, if you are in the attack heli on comms with your gunner then only attack it from the back. If you are in the attack jet try and attack it from directly above, if in the scout don't even attempt to destroy it. The stealth jet is also helpful when attacking at the same time as another air vehicle.
Hi LevelCap. I was just wondering that in the previous video you were playing Dirty Bomb, which is pretty intense game and I thought that it would be interesting to see you playing with a heart rate monitor. This idea was in my mind for quite a while. I have seen some people playing horor games with heart rate monitor, but it would be interesting to see what your heart does when you are playing fps games. There would be probably a difference when you are playing just for fun or really tactical with other guys (Matimio ect.) Battlefield (when the match is really even and there are almost no tickets left), Counter-Strike, Dirty Bomb or even Planetside 2 (when there is an alert) are games which you could try. I hope you will read this and sorry if you didn't understand something. English isn't my first language. :)
When you're last alive in Insurgency or whenever you get shot at is usually quite intense. Last alive on Ambush as the VIP usually has me super high on adrenaline.
Caldrada the games that get my heart racing is csgo, being the last alive in the squad(clutch or kick). Also arma battle royale. Dirty bomb while fun, is kinda like bf4 for me where you would have to kick me to see if I'm alive. Insurgency is another great suspenseful game too. Oddly enough, the "horror" games are absolutely boring to me and I honestly can't understand how people really get scared by them. Not putting anyone down, I just don't personally understand. I always play in a darked out room with headphones. Maybe I simply can't suspend my disbelief properly?
Idea for loadout: black ops 2 Ironsight sniper Primary: scout elite- ironsights, laser sight, flash hider, straight pull Secondary: fn-57, no attachments Grenade: frag 1st gadget: c-4 2nd gadget: sensor grenade Perk: offensive Objective: to be as tryhard as possible, to have really bright camos on your guns, and to make people rage
I was just playing it right now and I would say otherwise. No balance, shitty OP weapons everywhere, vehicles are fucking cancer, spawning is ass, there is only one proper attachment combo to be competitive, grenade spam everywhere, mortar spam, shitty maps that encourage camping. From the hitreg, to the audio, to the game modes, BF4 is superior to BF3 in every aspect EXCEPT rush in a few maps (Damavand Peak for example).
using a dmr as an alternative medium to long range engagement for engineer class is good. However some of the server limit the use of Sniper and 'DMR' is also classified as Sniper Rifle (correct me if i wrong). In the end, i just used Carbine if i wanted to but overall i just play the hard ptfo, yolo guy using my CZ-3A1 all the time at conquest large :D
another thing i like doing (and its similar to what you said) is play around the opponents emotions, if im ever rounding a corner and hear somebody behind me or somebody firing at me i will think of what they will do and play around that, if i think they will chase i will turn and surprise attack while they are (hopefully) sprinting, but if they are being cautious i will keep running and find a safer spot to shoot them from
Defend objectives near enemy points. I always defend F on Gulf of Oman when the enemy has E/G or E and G. I defend D point in Shanghai when the enemy has E or C or both. It helps alot.
Another tip be prepared for Levaluation, trust me when that building came down in Shang it was hard to snipe. Not just because of the debris it's because of the fog and smoke it makes it sorta hard to see especially for sniping! When I was sniping on the map and once the building came down it was very hard to see to hit certain people. Just note some of these Levaluation's can make a lot of changes not just changes to the world when you flood a city but it can also change your vision sorta making it hard to see in certain places or everywhere
Pro tip : always go down with your ship Literally , always take the death when driving a vehicle. The enemy engineers are crafty and will repair tool YOUR TEAMS VEHICLES. And use them against you.
Pro Tip any gamemode: Get a good infantry player as squad leader and stick to him like glue. Great video LevelCap maybe a few people will now understand conquest better.
whenever I am overwhelmed by a tank, i just rush at it and usually i don't get hit. Then, i go a long side of the armor and pretend to place c4 or use a repair tool. (I use assault class) 80% of the time the player will get out which allows you to either kill them and/or take the tank. Its easy to spot a "non experienced tanker" by their camo or by how the tank is customised. This could give your team the armor advantage that could ultimately help you control the battle.
Nice one Level. Im liking the objective focused gameplay tips. Its all about allocating yourself properly to the right role in your team. People forget that they are apart of a team, and that team is effectivly only as good as the sum of its parts (players). It becomes weaker when individual players start doing their own thing for no good reason. And imo, is much more fun when everyone is allocating themselves correctly.
"It's one of those scenarios where you're overwhelmed and you just try to take as many people with you as you can" - oh so you mean like every conquest large i've ever played? that's all i'm every thinking "alright this is going to be a dumb ass move but i'm gonna do it anyway i'm just gonna run in and take as many people with me as i can....GO GO GO!" lol
I know how to counter flir and irnv users if your using smoke to cover your movement. If your a support or assault you can use a smoke grenade launcher to replace the smoke grenade. Once you fire the smoke grenade laucher, you throw a hand flare into the smoke to blind the flir and irnv users, while the smoke is covering your movement. Hope this helps yall.
Here’s a tip for the guys just joining us in 2021, if you don’t understand how to use a tank, save it for someone who does. Sincerely, a tank and IFV main
Maybe this is just me but if I anticipate enemy movement going to an objective and I am closer to that objective then my team, I head there regardless of the outcome. Sometimes I play with people who wait for their squad or more players to join before capturing a point but that allows the enemy team to get more people and potentially more capture points. I find it way more effective to attack when the opportunity is there and take as many people out as possible before going down, that way, there will be less opposition and it buys your team time to get to the next point. So yeah you may die a few times in the process but in the long run, it greatly helps out the team even if they are only decent players.
Wow Active Radar on the MAA!? If you have any kind of aiming skill you can take out any air vehicle with the main cannon either with or without zoom optics. Then you can free up the 2nd slot for rocket pods making you effective against armour if you play smart and even nastier v infi. Every top AA driver uses that loadout.
I'm new to BF4, just bought it 2 days ago. My friend was kind enough to buy me the full unlock pack thingy to go with it to. I'm really enjoying a engi loadout using the M39 dmr. Its not great close, but I use the .44 for close up.
If you were playing like level cap was without his mates i would recommend equipping a suppresor since you were playing solo taking areas by yourself so you wouldnt givce yourself away to your opponent assuming its regular and not hardcore where its without the minimap, if you were like with squadmates actually communicating to each other then ya take Heavy Barrel doesnt have to be
I would love to see a video with tips on using the tanks/apc's. As i would like to become better at these and let the masters drive the choppers/jets. Perhaps using buildings as cover, what direction to point the front end while peaking out from around cover. Do you ever stop, or do you keep moving all the time. You mentioned keeping active protection up, what other options for other vehicles? How long is the recharge on the active armor, is it on all sides of the vehicle etc. Covering primary and secondary weapons and which to use for each vehicle and why. Also, how to be an effective gunner or how to effective repair the vehicle with out getting killed such as to go prone, go to the back/side of the vehicle?
CSGO Loadout. class engi P90 stock hipfire only. as pistol deagle stock and hipfire only too. flashbang, smoke or standard grenade as grenade. as knife the boot. perk is offensive to get ammo and more grenades. as gadgets eod bot to disarm the bomb like you can in csgo. and as second gadget decoy to distrect your enemy's. I hope you will have fun with this Loadout.
In rogue transmission isn't there a AA that spawn under the dish ? If i'm in the AA seat, there is no point trying to fly an heli around it gonna go down instantly. So isn't the dish a better objective ?
Lmao "moving onto conquest large: Snowblind" xD As a sniper, I know. Whiteout is absolutely ridiculous sometimes, especially if you're at capture point F looking toward C or D across the plain
Hey Level, a request for the same type of tips for Rush. Its a dying game mode and its mostly due to players not understanding the very basics of this mode. Examples of people not understanding: Snipers in the deployment, Tanks retreating to next objectives when defending, Attackers not going for objectives and defenders not defending.
First step, Have a well oiled competent squad that sticks together. Second step never stay still, and keep moving to the next point to capture, period.
LevelCapGaming can you please come on to your server more often? It makes playing the game more challenging and I'm sure everyone who is on the server would love it.
i enjoy battlefield because I don't have very good reflexes and I'm not super accurate. I do enjoy flanking and using tactics, which benefits greatly in Battlefield.
Come on man, squad orders and communication are a must. Nobody in core mode ever communicates or gives/follows orders. I like your videos but the lack of squad orders alone blows my mind and when they do give orders you don't usually follow them. This game is so much fun when you play it like it's meant to be played :)
Try using your camos i know you guys dont think it useful, but there's been plenty of times where enemies mistaken me for a friendly and just trying to pick a camo to match the environment is is fun
Why no target detector on the acw-r? Is having no attachments other than an optic the new cool thing, like having blank dogtags, using the standard knife and not using gun/vehicle camos?
Hey level i love your content and i have been a long time viewer i was just wondering if you could do a top 5 weapons of each weapon type? like top 5 assault rifles, top 5 sniper rifles and ect. i think that would definitely be interesting to see what you think are the best guns of bf4 are! love your content and keep it up!
LevelCap , or anybody elae for that matter, i play on console and sometimes, when I get into a vehicle other than tanks, rcbs, and lavs, my aim dot, reticle thingy starts to move all over the place, leaving me incapable of flying or piloting any vehicles, other than those mentiomed above, any help?
Has levelcap ever given tips on playing bf4 solo? I don't play that often but when I do it's by myself. I'm straying away from call of duty and all the help I can get would be appreciated
Why do people even use the active radar missiles on the mobile AA? The minigun destroys aircraft really fast anyway, zuni rockets are definitely the way to go as they allow you to destroy enemy tanks, LAVs and other mobile AAs aswell as being very effective vs infantry.
You forgot to tell all the noobs to not give up the tanks to the other team.
If you take a piece of armor then go down with it. Don't give it up

In the end, i just used Carbine if i wanted to but overall i just play the hard ptfo, yolo guy using my CZ-3A1 all the time at conquest large :D
another thing i like doing (and its similar to what you said) is play around the opponents emotions, if im ever rounding a corner and hear somebody behind me or somebody firing at me i will think of what they will do and play around that, if i think they will chase i will turn and surprise attack while they are (hopefully) sprinting, but if they are being cautious i will keep running and find a safer spot to shoot them from
This is so useful for me. Just upgraded from PS3 to PS4, and I'm not doing too well in conquest large. Thanks.
Pro tip : always go down with your ship
Literally , always take the death when driving a vehicle. The enemy engineers are crafty and will repair tool YOUR TEAMS VEHICLES. And use them against you.
How to enjoy conquest large: get a squad of friends
Pro Tip any gamemode: Get a good infantry player as squad leader and stick to him like glue.
Great video LevelCap maybe a few people will now understand conquest better.
I was waiting months for this kind of videos ! Finally good, advanced tips ! Thx :)
Hey Levelcap, I'm TagsAreOptional, it was good tanking with you man.
Is conquest large the gamemode with both jets? Because when i play conquest there Is always only one jet.
thanks level, i always suck at bf 4, any game mode, but after this vid, i get a clearer image, thx!
whenever I am overwhelmed by a tank, i just rush at it and usually i don't get hit.
What's up?! Came back for a refresh!! Your videos still doing the trick!
nice to see you LevelCapGaming doing a tips and tricks video. its been awhile
Its pretty interesting when civilians have eureka moments about basic military tactics such as flanking and thinking strategically (not meta).
Thanks for continuing to do battle field tips! I just got into and BF4 is a lot different from cod. Thanks! Keep up the good work
The “good gun” is a 105mm howiter btw. It is the same size gun on a lot of tanks just mounted on the side of an ac-130.
he makes it look so easy
Thank you for the advice for Blueberries about the Vehicles 4:38
Sorry 4:28 *
I love the sks, I use a 4x pso-1 scope with canted sights and heavy barrel or suppressor depending on the situation. (Camo: hunter)
Videos like this is why i subbed to you back in bf3, gg lvl, make more vids like this
Wow Active Radar on the MAA!? If you have any kind of aiming skill you can take out any air vehicle with the main cannon either with or without zoom optics. Then you can free up the 2nd slot for rocket pods making you effective against armour if you play smart and even nastier v infi. Every top AA driver uses that loadout.
I'm new to BF4, just bought it 2 days ago. My friend was kind enough to buy me the full unlock pack thingy to go with it to. I'm really enjoying a engi loadout using the M39 dmr. Its not great close, but I use the .44 for close up.
i was gonna reply with tips but then i realized this was 6 fucking years ago
Great video LevelCap. This is alot of stuff the noobs of the Battlefield universe need to hear.
CSGO Loadout.
class engi
P90 stock hipfire only.
as pistol deagle stock and hipfire only too.
flashbang, smoke or standard grenade as grenade.
as knife the boot.
perk is offensive to get ammo and more grenades.
as gadgets eod bot to disarm the bomb like you can in csgo.
and as second gadget decoy to distrect your enemy's.
I hope you will have fun with this Loadout.
you don't have to hate jezus.
I don't fucking know that.
i'm not a fucking mind reader
Carsten Nicolai levelcap already did this loadout in bf3.
In rogue transmission isn't there a AA that spawn under the dish ? If i'm in the AA seat, there is no point trying to fly an heli around it gonna go down instantly. So isn't the dish a better objective ?
Best tip is capture the objectives
Thanks levelcap you always give useful tips👏
Solid Tips from the Master
Awesome dude. Keep up the good work.
This video was awesome. Thanks Levelcap. great advice. I will definetely put them in practice.
Planetside 2 is also very strategy-based. Skill is also needed (like in any other game) but strategy is more important
Lmao "moving onto conquest large: Snowblind" xD
As a sniper, I know. Whiteout is absolutely ridiculous sometimes, especially if you're at capture point F looking toward C or D across the plain
Hey Level, a request for the same type of tips for Rush. Its a dying game mode and its mostly due to players not understanding the very basics of this mode. Examples of people not understanding: Snipers in the deployment, Tanks retreating to next objectives when defending, Attackers not going for objectives and defenders not defending.
do a vid on leading a squad/ callouts and more tactics! that was great!
Awesome video sir! Thanks for the knowledge!
Most helpful youtuber...
I love these kinds of videos you should make more of them
Great vid lvl! Reminds me of bf3 days for some reason
I would have used an M4 or an AK-12 on burst fire if I want to use a Carbine that's versatile in all ranges.
Vic Robbins You mean AKU-12?
Arlito V yea that i mean
First step, Have a well oiled competent squad that sticks together. Second step never stay still, and keep moving to the next point to capture, period.
LevelCapGaming can you please come on to your server more often? It makes playing the game more challenging and I'm sure everyone who is on the server would love it.
i enjoy battlefield because I don't have very good reflexes and I'm not super accurate. I do enjoy flanking and using tactics, which benefits greatly in Battlefield.
Really nice vid. I would like to see some more on your opinions on using different classes on the same maps
Come on man, squad orders and communication are a must. Nobody in core mode ever communicates or gives/follows orders. I like your videos but the lack of squad orders alone blows my mind and when they do give orders you don't usually follow them. This game is so much fun when you play it like it's meant to be played :)
Why do you have points by Conquest Control every time your team holds 1/2/more Objectives?
Try using your camos i know you guys dont think it useful, but there's been plenty of times where enemies mistaken me for a friendly and just trying to pick a camo to match the environment is is fun
Hey LevelCap, are you ever going to upload another airsoft video?
Please do more of those videos, they are so helpfull!!!
Thankyou for this one
What's better, 30mm or the mini guns?
Why no target detector on the acw-r? Is having no attachments other than an optic the new cool thing, like having blank dogtags, using the standard knife and not using gun/vehicle camos?
Tactical Nuke its like having target finder on CoD its fucking cheap
Extremly useful content for a new commer like myself. Thank you
Thanks for the vid.
Are you going to be doing one of these for each map?
Hey level i love your content and i have been a long time viewer i was just wondering if you could do a top 5 weapons of each weapon type? like top 5 assault rifles, top 5 sniper rifles and ect. i think that would definitely be interesting to see what you think are the best guns of bf4 are! love your content and keep it up!
I am learning very well because of you
Why are you using no attachments on your acw-r?
LevelCap , or anybody elae for that matter, i play on console and sometimes, when I get into a vehicle other than tanks, rcbs, and lavs, my aim dot, reticle thingy starts to move all over the place, leaving me incapable of flying or piloting any vehicles, other than those mentiomed above, any help?
Dragon Pass is such a great map, it's a shame that not many servers run it.
When bf4 was launched i said "i will buy bf4 when i am boarded with bf3"
I still don`t own bf4.
How does one get boarded
I think he meant bored
No shit? -_-
Krazy Koolaid BF4 is nothing to be proud or excited for at all..
at least you don't play cod haha
Great video those are some true and helpful tips
Levelcap is heavy barral good for long or short range
Hey level wy do you put the optics on your guns and no other attachments
Levelcap, how come you never play hardline? I mean I know about the issues about PC but why not use PS4 or Xbox?
Has levelcap ever given tips on playing bf4 solo? I don't play that often but when I do it's by myself. I'm straying away from call of duty and all the help I can get would be appreciated
Hey,how when level kills someone he has a red hitmark? I have an orange one.
This game is just amazing.
Great Video LC, thanks!
Why do people even use the active radar missiles on the mobile AA? The minigun destroys aircraft really fast anyway, zuni rockets are definitely the way to go as they allow you to destroy enemy tanks, LAVs and other mobile AAs aswell as being very effective vs infantry.
Hey level, could you show the quality and how many fps u got While playing? Love your vídeos, keep with the good work
lvl did you change your video capture's quality? it looks horrible
