I think JK just has an intelligence that is astronomical and we as audience can't grasp it. You have to give in, give up, let everything go. It's like letting yourself fall from a cliff backwards. It's too scary and uncertain that we're clinging to our secure miserable predictable comfortable pleasure life.

With all due respect, Jiddu's view of the world is very skewed. He never had to toil at some grunt labor job in order to survive. Technology has advanced tremendously but, human nature has remained the same. We are all genetically hardwired to look out for number 1 at the expense of everyone and everything else. No different than any other living thing.

Sorry, but as a teacher, I always blame the teacher, never the student as K does here. He implies that the teaching is sufficient. Is it? Don't get me wrong, the teachings as a whole are great but clearly something is missing as so few people actually were able to understand and change. IMO, K needed to summarize more and give more examples. He would say, if you see a snake you avoid it, that is true but then we need to see the snake. Simply telling people that if they make images there will be conflict is insufficient. Then when people didn't get it he would blame them. The teachings as a whole are great but K as a teacher of his own teachings, I'm not so sure.

That "final explosion" is a lover to me--I recognized it many years ago. it's extremely elusive, and you can't "thought" it into reality.

Perhaps realizing that thought is an attempt to fix time when the nature of time is relative. Such futility breeds surrender and natural intelligence.
