Thank god. Been waiting on an aus version of this. Loving your hard work. The growth of channel is testament to the quality vids!
Thanks Brendan! Yeah I really thought it would be helpful for those wanting to send their cards.
Thanks so much for this very easy to understand video on grading with PSA Phil. It was quite daunting to think about grading my cards but now I might give it a try :)
Thanks so much! I pulled an iono full art from shining treasures japanese and have been wanting to get it graded
Hopefully you get it sent in! Are you only sending in the one?
tysm im new to grading cards so this video helped A LOT. thank you again
Was great detailed and quick video. Speech was clear and well paced. Clear enough and well paced so that 2x is also good. Lighting is good and quality is great. Keep it up man. Video looks great
Why do i think of korg (from thor) when i hear you talk 😂.
Cheers mate great video i see that you are very well accepted keep the advice coming 🍻
Haha thats funny, and thanks for the kind words, appreciate it!
wrong accent though lmao korg has a kiwi accent
Great video! Very helpful. Never submitted before but now I might give it a shot!
100%, once you do it once it’s much easier! Go for it.
Great video man. Yeah I sent some straight to PSA directly. From Australia. It was not cheap.
Thankyou that was very helpful 😊
No problem, happy to help out! Let me know if you need more tips in the future.
holy shit, I'm glad I watched this before trying to submit cards!
Awesome to hear! Let's hope a few 10's come back!
Would of been good if you covered the insurance part on the PSA website
Thank you I wasn’t sure where to go to get a old card heralded but how much money would it take to grade a charizard first edition
Hi Phillip thanks for the vid, I was wondering one thing. I just submitted my first order and under step 2: Package it says the following: "On Page 1 of all submission forms, type or write the total number of orders & the total number of items in the package.".
Can I just write this on the bottom of the first page (the PSA copy 1)? I noticed that on older forms there was still an option to fill this in but not on the form I have so that is confusing me a bit.. Thanks in advance!
Ziplock bag is a nono from me it can create condensation
can you go into a little bit more of the declaration thing, also the value is it of the card raw or the card graded with 10 comparison?
Pokemon Steven does it by what he thinks it would be graded. As Philip stated also, if it goes over the price say 499 at 25 per card. You'll get upcharged to 35 for that card etc, if it goes over after the grade. If that makes sense.
So no shipping label?
Question for the charged grading cost, is it applied on the raw cost or what graded cost?
Such a great video, has been very helpful in getting ready to send off my first cards for grading. Quick question, with the promo singles from boxes such as the ETBs, do I need to open them from the plastic they're packaged in and put them in a sleeve then the grading holder or can I just put them straight in the grading holder still in the plastic?
What about europe, is it similar or?
Is the shipping cost to send them to PSA included in the grading fee or do you have to pay separately?
How do you work out the Max Declared Value? Is that the value of the card if it was a PSA grade 10? And should it be in USD?
What you guys think of the one in Australia? Looks pretty good, TCG grading. Couple of TH-cam video reviews. Would also save a bucket load of money
Hi Phillips your video is very helpful, Im from sydney and wanting to grade my rare cards. If its possible, can you make an update video on how to submit to psa (updated version). I was wondering if I want to submit a bulk card grading (around 20-50 cards) but the market value vary like I want to submit an evolving skies umbreon vmax 215/203 but also in the bulk there are cards like zapdos ex 202/165. So do I choose the $15/item and they will calculate on their own and upcharge me for the umbreon accordingly to the value or I could only send cards that are under $200 for the bulk and need to send the umbreon vmax separately. Also for the declared value do I just input the PSA 10 Market value of each cards? Sorry for the long message but really need some advice.
Hey! Did you end up finding out the answer for this? I will be in this position soon. Probably send some that arent exactly money cards but favourites that I would like graded for my collection.
Same issue :/
Hi, I just uploaded an updated video!
Is psa currency in USD or AUD
Thanks mate
Happy to help!
It gives 2 addresses that u can send to. Do you send to fedex address or usps address ?
Hey mate! Gearing up to send my first submission to PSA, did you have to pay duties/taxes when the cards get returned? No idea how it works but got stung with a overseas purchase lately and wanted to check about getting them back from PSA in the states. Cheers
Hi, yes if it exceeds $1000 total you will! A good rule of thumb is to send around 30-35 cards to avoid this.
But be wary if upcharge fees which I believe I covered in the video.
@@phillips.collectibles No worries, yeah its a really good video. Before the video it seemed like it was too much to handle but It made it seem much more manageable. Wont sending more cards make it more likely to go over the $1000 limit? Sorry if its a stupid question. If i send off around 20 - 30 cards and one of them is the Latias Ex from surging sparks that card alone is worth more then $1000 at PSA 10. (Assuming I can get a 10 haha.)
@ it’s not about the price of the card, it’s about the price of the service combined.
So latias EX in PSA 10 will charge you I believe $25 USD? I don’t think that will get the $75 upcharge.
So if it exceeds $1000 in grading cost, not $1000 in your cards value if that makes sense!
@phillips.collectibles that is so helpful! That puts me at ease. I was getting scared at the prospective value that I was sending hahaha.
hey bro, question, how much is the shipping per submission?
Like $75 USD return, + $46 AUD there. Definitely worth it to do a bulk submission.
Does anyone know if the 'UltraPRO One-Touch' magnetic card holder is okay when shipping off to PSA? Or does it have to be that semi-rigid card saver version?
i am just using the semi rigid because that’s what he said
It has the space for Australian addresses now
Yay! 🥳 took years…
So just to confirm if I put my Aussie address in now I don’t need to email
Them separately ?
@@phillips.collectibles so I don’t need to email them separately now do I ?
@@spidermn17 if it’s in the backend of the system I wouldn’t think so. The whole point of the email is to ensure it’s in the backend as you couldn’t manually select Australia.
If it’s showing your address in the backend with Australia that should be okay.
Can I use auspost or do I need to use FedEx?
Hey mate, Aus Post but international postage.
@@phillips.collectibles
Hey mate, if using international aus postage, which address should we send to ?
Via United States Postal Service (USPS):
CU Receiving P.O. Box 6180 Newport Beach, CA 92658
Via UPS, FedEx or DHL:
CU Receiving 1600 E. St Andrew Place Santa Ana, CA 92705
Do I email them my address after submitting or should I wait for a response then submit them and post them
Hi Jack, make sure you email them before sending off anything.
First make sure they have confirmed the address change and then it will appear like that in your account.
Once all is confirmed, post it!
Do you put USD prices or AUD prices in the declared value ?
USD!
@@phillips.collectiblesFor the card price would the card price be if it was a PSA 10 or just the price for an ungraded card?
Is CGA reputable!!
CGC you mean?
i only have a $25.00 per card option
For collector club its $15 per card
