- In this video I finally delete the resonators and we unleash the full potential of the corsa extreme axle backs !! I will go over what parts I used to achieve this sound !! Also you mentioned that the x-pipe and mufflers placement was crucial..could you specify on where and why they are where they are? I have shorties on my ls2 rx8 and can't run LT's without some ridiculous custom headers and I love the sound of your truck..hoping to replicate this
It’ll be much easier to get a sound like this out of a car like yours since you won’t be running long piping such as I am since it’s a truck, yes you can run the x pipe with shorties, and in my particular set up for trucks I said that the x pipe is crucial because trucks come with a L shape pipe that converts into one and that gives it the truck sound and then the mufflers I placed them all the way in the back to mimic a car axle back, I’m sure your rx8 already has the mufflers all the way in the back since it’s a car

How much power are you makin? I want to 6 spd swap my 5.3 c10 but tr6060s are expensive t56 little more in my budget. Im makin roughtly 400hp. Do you think the t56 with be solid?
I would guesstimate around 360 to the wheel, nothing too crazy, and oh yeah that should be plenty !
I have an 5 speed nv3500, which ima pair to an 6.0 lq4 what cam do you think will sound good?
I had the exact setup like you I did the btr truck norris cam and it was great and daily driving was good as well

What if you did a side exit with the mufflers in the original location?
I would love that, but you would need to opt for smaller mufflers, because those axle backs are too big to fit in the middle unfortunately
Is this the corsa sport or corsa extreme the link takes me to the corsa sport exhaust just wondering because the truck sounds amazing
Yeah those are the right ones, they don’t actually make an “extreme” axle back, the extreme catback system uses sport axle backs and the sport catback system uses the touring axle backs

If you buy just the mufflers from Corsa they are actually the Extremes. I put them on my 18 CC with equal lenght exhaust.

@@Andregarcia5.0 A company called Celeritech does it. Afai they are the only company i know who can weld it and sell it online. Maybe you saw the popular ls3 corvette video with equal length headers. They made those headers.
