I have such wonderful memories with Peter Rabbit. My mom would read the stories to me when I was a child. I even had a Peter Rabbit coloring book. I cannot wait to share these stories with my future children 🥰
I just finished watching all of your videos, and I have loved them all. Your projects are very different than what I have stitched, but you've made me so excited to try a project that is full coverage. 🙂 I also have the No Bees, No Honey chart and I really like your approach to it. Looking forward to seeing your start! Thank you for taking the time to share your stitching with all of us!
Rabbits are incredibly soft and cuddly.
Hi there! I recently found your channel, and it’s just great! 🩷 you have some really beautiful projects! I’m excited to see your start of the Birds of a Feather Bee piece. I have also been watching Cathy for a long time, and she is one of my favorites too! I too have a soft spot for Peter Rabbit 🩵 those stories always remind me of my mom. We don’t often have rabbits in our yard, but we have a little family right now, and they bring me such joy! Happy stitching!! P. S. Can’t wait to see pictures of the front yard! How exciting!!
My children grew up on stories of those rabbits!! I love your stitching!
I’m so glad I found your FlossTube! We have such similarities in what we stitch AND that we are both boy moms. 💜 Resource gathering board games are some of their favorites even at ages 24 and 27. When they were young, the nursery was Beatrix Potter themed, so to see those charts and calendar filled my heart with wonderful memories. I need to do what you did and stitch up some of the characters into smalls for displays. Peter Rabbit is timeless! Speaking of rabbits, a few days ago I was looking at something on my patio and couldn’t quite wrap my brain around what I was seeing. It finally registered that it is was a baby bunny. 🐰 Too cute! Again, great FlossTube channel!💜 Lisa
Hi Anna! Wonderful catching up with you that Mill Hill egg is absolutely stunning!! I can’t wait to see it finished! The dragonfly is so beautiful. What a great find! Hugs.❤
I have a grandpup that is an Irish terrier. When we have the pup for weekend, she will sit on our second floor deck and her eagle eyes can spot each and every rabbit.
Needless to say, we don't her into the yard until the rabbits are gone. But it is still her job to sniff each and every blade of grass the rabbits might have touched.
First time watching you. I can't believe the algorithms didn't introduce you before. So my aesthetic. Thanks for sharing.
I love to see your progress on the beautiful dragonfly piece and on mini birdsong. Thanks for explaining how you approach stitching on each piece. Enjoy your new start!
Good morning as usual I always enjoy seeing you and your stitching. I have so many rabbits in my garden having fun in my flowers.
Beautiful projects. And beautiful new start that you planned. I think the conversion colours that you choose is making it very beautiful. Happy stitching
I enjoy your videos and love spending time with you while i stitch! Love all your projects you are working on. The dragonfly is beautiful! I LOVE Rabbits. We had four as pets. After the last passed away i couldn't get another.... They have such personalities. Your finishes of Peter Rabbit were adorable. thanks for sharing your love of needlework!!
I love stitching rabbits. Loved your video.
Great changes on the bees project. The stalking is going to be amazing!
Such beautiful stitching! I really love birds, too. The game looks like something my family would really enjoy. When our oldest was a baby we decorated his nursery with a Peter Rabbit theme. I'm still drawn to those stories and images. I look forward to seeing your yard after the native plants have been added!
I am always looking for new games for hubby and I. Thanks for sharing!!
Ohh Anna, Peter Rabbit is my favourite story, Beatrix Potter was such an exceptional writer and the little sketches are adorable, I love your Egg, I have seen a lot about these little frames for stitching them and they definitely seem to be the way to go.
Hi Anna. I just found your channel and enjoy your style of presenting your stitching. I absolutely love Rabbits. I just saw my first spring rabbit in our yard. They are so precious! Thank you.
Glad your snow cleared up; we are still getting flurries at 9K ft. So ready for spring. Thanks for sharing your projects; the dragonfly is so pretty!
When I was young we had a rabbit named Snow. She was so funny. She had the cutest personality!
Blue fabric with yellow floss is very pretty together, a dimension stocking has been on my to do list for many years, it has been a beautiful day here and we have just arrived home from a lovely forest walk and fairy trail, we say lots of sweet fairy houses, flowers and even some baby rabbits and a few squirrels, gorgeous day but I am pooped now.
I sure enjoyed reading Peter Rabbit to my 6 sons as they grew up. In fact, hopefully someday I'll get to share those stories with grandkids.
Hi! My daughter and I have shown rabbits for years and we have quite a few. Rabbits are my favorite animals❤ just found your channel and love your projects 🎉❤
I did a Peter Rabbit themed nursery for my daughter 24 years ago. Now she has a baby and I’d love to stitch some rabbits for him.
I love to stitch rabbits more than anything. Just found your channel & really enjoyed it
Loved watching. Your stitching is great. Subscribed!
When my children were small we raised Flemish Giants and Dutch belted rabitts. Very good eating. Son had customers who would purchase them already to put in the freezer. Some people haave them for pets in their homes just like a cat.. Happy stitching.
Love the dragonfly cross stitch! Love the Peter cottontail charts as well. I have a 11 year old rabbit and he is the sweetest animal. He sometimes joins me in my craft room.
Hi Anna
Love all of your WIPS - your Finish. Everything is so pretty.
Happy Stitching
❤️🤗🙏🧵🦯🧵❤️
Thank you! And thank you for watching and commenting on so many of my videos! Happy stitching!
Hello! Always looking forward to your floss tube videos. When my granddaughter started high school she asked if she could have a rabbit to show in 4H. Well we went and rescued one from spca. She named him Benji. When she went to enter him in 4H. They found a little bite mark on his ear and said that she couldn’t enter him. Well as time went by she taught him how to use the litter box and he started sleeping with her. One day out of the blue she says to me, Noni, he is my soul animal. Unfortunately he just passed away 2 months ago. She has his ashes in her dorm room with her. I have so many books about Beatrix potter and all her illustrations. I love all her stories she has written. Have a great day!!!😊
It's so great to bond with an animal, but it's also really hard when they leave us. I hope your granddaughter has had time to recover and remember the good times with her pet rabbit! Thank you for commenting!
I was born in the year of the rabbit, so I like them a lot, but I know what you mean about what they can do to your plants!! Thanks for a fun flosstube - I just found you and am going back through some of your past videos.
Hi Anna!! I just found your flosstube and loved watching you. I’m very inspired by the way you colored your chart using geranium petals…how cool is that!!! My children grew up with Beatrix Potter stories and now I love to share them with my two beautiful grandbabes. I would so love to stitch some rabbits and tell Ronan and Oliver the stories of Peter Rabbit!!
We have rabbits in our backyard as well and a dog that wants to play with them too!!! Small world! Love your floss tube! 😊
Your Dragon Fly picture is so beautiful. The back stitching makes it pop so much. You got a really good deal at the Estate Sale for all those patterns for $20.00. I wish I would find a great deal like that. I am doing my first Prairie Schooler and it is called Prairie Birds. I love Prairie Schooler. I love the Berries & Birds one. I have to wait until I finish the one I am working on before I can buy it. We have a lot of Rabbits in our yard too. The baby's are so adorable. My neighbor had a rabbits nest in her pot of flowers on her patio. Strange place to have a nest. The shaking was very little. Happy Stitching.
The dimensions stocking is beautiful, so much stitching, I have never stitching anything as big, but I have seen Lynn @lancashire stitcher stitch a couple stockings for her grandchildren, we have lots of wild rabbits in the field behind were we live, they are so much fun to watch especially when the wee bunnies are playing, I especially love the black ones.
I always enjoy your flosstube and hearing about Ethan. I grew up with my mom reading me peter rabbit and his friends. I had two rabbits for pets years ago. ❤
I had a rabbit when I was a kid and I think he would have liked a rabbit friend! Two sounds like a good idea. Thanks for commenting!
My mother loves Beatrix Potter Rabbits. She has multiple things from my childhood hood in that style. I am currently hand quilting a Potter quilt.
I love how your wee beastie is coming along, all those almost invisible stitches in the wings look great now that its done. I always thought wild rabbits were cute. But we have huge hare's where we live in the countryside, they are no where near as cute as their cross stitch patterns make them out to be 😂
Hey there, Ms. Anna... I very much enjoyed the video, and hearing about all the thrifting/estate sale finds; always a story there, it seems... I am thrilled to find so may like-minded crafters through FlossTube, who keep the spirit of Beatrix Potter alive in their pieces. Peter Rabbit keeps me company in my stitchy spot, as he's the theme of everything from my ORT keeper to my little stitching tools tin. The dragonfly piece is so unique, and I am still learning (by watching others' progress) regarding heavily backstitched pieces; I love the definition backstitching reveals. Take care; will be following along~~ from the Midwest, US.
Peter Rabbit is so recognizable, I love that he's not just for kids! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I have a lot of fond memories of my dad reading me the story of peter rabbit :D I didn't know there were cross stitch patterns featuring him! Your finishes look lovely :D
Thank you! They're really sweet little patterns.
Hello Anna, Thankfully there is no sign of snow here where I live, I do wish it would warm up a bit and I little sunshine would be nice too, your Millhill tulip egg is lovely, I have never stitched a millhill, but they are on my list after watching Helen d stitching up so many, I love the dragonfly, we see them quite lot when we visit the lough, I love Beatrix Potter and I have a mini set of her books, and I do know the story of pigling bland, but my favourite has to be Peter Rabbit with all the mischief he got into.
I had rabbits growing up! Mine was brown and fluffy. My sisters was white with black spots and hers would bite!! They got out one time and my brown one lived under the tree! Maybe some day I will get rabbits again but I'm good with dogs 😂 Happy stitching!!
Hello Anna I love your stitching. I have rabbits here where I live in the mountains and they are adorable. Love your Beatrice projects I will have to do some, thanks for sharing
Love your videos! When I was a kid my mom and dad let us get a pet rabbit and then someone was rehoming a rabbit so my parents took in the other rabbit thinking both of them were female boy were they wrong when we ended up with many many rabbits in a very short amount of time. I just loved having our rabbits around they sure were cuddly! I can't wait for your next floss tube update!
Hi Anna, your stitching projects are beautiful! I love birds as well, and rabbits are my favorite. My son in law bought my daughter a rabbit years ago for Easter and that little black and white rabbit is living a happy life! The booklets and patterns are so darling. Beatrix Potter is such a treasure. Thank you so very much and enjoy all your videos.
Lovely video and beautiful stitching! The blue fabric and the colour conversion for the bee pattern look super pretty. Have a nice may!
Thank you!
Nice flosstube i like them! Thank you for that! I like Beatrix Potter and the Stories of Peter Rabbit the Books and Films😍 and i love the idea that i can make Peter Rabbit❤
I am newish to cross stitching and I am always looking for new flosstubers to follow, so I was delighted to see your channel pop up on my screen this morning, I always did my very first swap this year, you had to stitch something with a Rabbit on it, I loved it, cross stitchers are so kind and generous.
Hi Anna. Thank you for sharing your time with us again. I enjoy flosstube for the stitching of course, and equally for the sense of community. I feel like you sharing your other interests allows us to grow in community. Thank you for that. We are a card playing family. There are A LOT of us so we have a good time.
Thanks, Anna. This was fun.
Hello, Although I have been a cross stitcher for many years , I am totally new to flosstube and TH-cam, thanks to my grandson, he keeps telling me I need an iPad , when he was young he wanted a pet, his Mom wasn’t too keen so granny allowed him to get a pet rabbit which he called Thumper and he lived in my garden, he looked after the rabbit very well, he now has a golden lab called Milo.
I love rabbits! I live in the country and l often see them when l drive down my driveway. They are so cute.
By the way, nothing appears to shake on the video.
We have wild bunnies that get into our garden and one year they mowed down our peas - twice!
I used to own rabbits and we bred them one time. Raising them was so much fun. Peter Rabbit was always my favorite growing up. Everdell is my favorite game!!! I just played it with 4 people and it changed the game so much more.
I've only played Everdell with 2 players. I bet the strategy changes a lot with more workers on the board! Thanks for commenting!
My Ganddaughter is graduating from college Sunday. Sin😢ce she was little she has collected BP bunny rabbit's stuff. I would stitch this pattern for her. Loved all your stitching. Love love love dragon flies, yours going to be gorgeous.
My daughter had a pat rabbit named Sammy. Guess who ended up caring for Sam??!! Mom to the rescue…lol. Great video!
Isn't that always the way! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hi, the shaking wasn't very noticeable. The Everdell cover gives me wind in the willows vibe, so lovely. Lovely projects.
See you next time Teri
Thank you for letting me know that the shaking wasn't that bad! The whole setup would wiggle every time I touched the table. Thanks for watching!
Hello Anna, I loved seeing your stitching, I am always interested in seeing what is everyone’s hoop, we are all so individual in our tastes,I have a sort of display hutch in my kitchen and I been stitching lots of rabbits in all different colours along with baby chicks, that what Spring is all about , new life, I do struggle for Summer decor as we don’t celebrate 4th of July but I do have some small patriot pieces . Just love the Dragonfly colours.
I love rabbits. I’ve had a few as pets. Cuddles was a sweet tiny grey rabbit that lived indoors for an about 7-8 years. They are so soft.
I had a pet rabbit when I was a kid, and they really are so soft! Thanks for commenting!
Last spring we had a little rabbit nest in our garden bed, it was so cute to see. Love those Beatrix Potter patterns!
Aww, the littlest rabbit babies are so cute. I would be worried about my dog getting them if we had a nest out in the open though. Thanks for commenting!
Hello Anna, I love your mill hill egg, it is so pretty, I have yet to try a Mill Hill, but I have recently started stitching samplers, just small ones but I am really enjoying them especially the different fonts, my pet rabbit when was growing up called Tibby, don’t know how I came up with that name but he was my best friend for many years.
Hello my friend❤ you have a wonderful work 💐 well done
Thank you!
I had started the Common Green Darner and put it aside. Now that you pointed out the mistake on the chart, you are right, there is 3371 in the head. Thank you for pointing that out. All your stitching is wonderful.
Thank you! Even if the pattern is correct, I prefer the greens and blues in that section. Thanks for watching!
I love your projects. I cannot imagine doing a haed without patternkeeper. I often think of getting a rabbit as a pet but I am not sure my cats would like then.
Great video - love all your WIPs. My son (who is 3) is a huge Peter Rabbit fan and I would love to stitch a couple of those patterns for him 😊
I can't imagine what Ethan will be like at 3. He's already grown so much at 21 months old. Thank you for commenting!
I was looking for what Peter Rabbit patterns were available since one came out in the recent Just Cross Stitch magazine. For a while there was a blind rabbit in my neighborhood that I would see while walking my dog. It didn’t see us coming so wasn’t afraid and I could walk very close. Luckily my dog isn’t interested in any critters that we see.
My dog Nola loves chasing the rabbitts in our back yard. She is scared of them so I am not sure what would happen if one stopped in her path. Lol
The Castle was my first ever cross stitch I did for husband. It was quite a challenge with the blended floss. It took me 5yrs on and off to complete it. I got it professionally framed and hung in our home. I had the book with several in it. It was the only way to get it at the time. I shared the book forward when I finished. I'm currently into full coverage and I love using digital tracking with an app. Just easier on my old eyes being able to zoom in to mark it.
I'm not sure when I'll start The Castle, it seems like an ambitious project! I think being able to zoom in would help with my magazine patterns. But I also like being able to stitch outside without any devices around me. Thanks for commenting!
I think your new start will look great on that fabric.. I look forward to seeing your progress. I am stitching on a small peter rabbit piece for my new grand daughter and hope to stitch a few more for her nursery .
Peter Rabbit is such a cute nursery theme! Thank you for commenting!
I have a pet rabbit and I’d love to stitch Peter Rabbit! I’ve actually been looking for that Peter Rabbit booklet for the last few weeks. I remember the Beatrix Potter books from my childhood! 🐰
I've seen this booklet on Ebay before, but it was in the $20 range. I'm lucky I found it at an estate sale! Thanks for commenting!
Not sure how I found your videos but really enjoy them ! Loved all you shared ! I actually have The Castle by Teresa Wentzler stitched and hanging on my wall … did it years ago for my husband .
Thanks , Kim ☀️
I don't have plans to start The Castle anytime soon, but maybe someday! Thanks for watching!
I love your projects. I have that red winged black bird pattern too. There is something about that pattern.
What awesome estate sale finds! I never get that lucky at sales in my area! I ended up adding that red winged blackbirds pattern to my wish list...thx for the enabling 😂 jk jk ...I love watching haul even tho its so bad for me! Lol
We have tons of rabbits in our neighborhood! I take all my veggie scraps to them and they are always gone in the morning.
That's a great idea! I put our scraps in the compost bin, but maybe a few carrot tops will fall to the ground next time. Thanks for commenting!
Omg! What a great video! I actually have a pet rabbit :) his name is Philip
We do not have rabbits outside but we have huge hares.
Those things look crazy next to cute little bunny rabbits! Thanks for commenting!
Hello! Do you railroad your stitches?
