Thank you for this thorough video, I get scared opening clippers incase they don't work as well once I put them back together but your video gives me confidence to try it myself, so thank you for the great explanation!!
I got the babyliss boost fix the chameleon ones I tried zero gapping n when I cut the blade would go crooked I tried center the blade but it always looks crooked and I just got them a day ago
For someone who isn’t a hairdresser and just buzzes their own hair, I’m wondering if using cool care and taking apart the clippers is still recommended. I’m just terrible with mechanics, but I think I’ll still try. Thanks
I think the most important thing for someone who only cuts their own hair is "don't store your clippers and trimmers in your bathroom." I have found that so many people do this and even if they're in a drawer, the steam from showers will rust your clippers.
Love how easy and straight to the point your explanations are bro! I just wanted to know if I have to take my clippers/trimmers apart or could I just run them in Andis 7 in 1
When clippers are new (rotary motor) they come with grease I'm the part of the motor that connects with the bracket that moves the blade. What type of grease is that one?
Hey brother can you do a video of showing us new barbers what is needed in the stations in regards to products as a daily use. I don’t even know what to get or what is good out there. Thank you and hope is not a burden for you!

I have a babyliss shaver like yours. I have a tiny bottle of oil rather than a spray. Are you supposed to put a drop of oil on the foil or the cutter inside?
I used the andis dip for my magic clips and didn't open it up to clean off the excess and it burned out the motor. Got a new motor for it from eBay for $20 though so lessons learned all around.
@@Seancutshair it's pretty useless when you can just throw some cool care and oil then open and clean them periodically. Thanks for the content and ps that Bossio cut for the battle was 🔥
I never use the clipper dip. I feel like it makes the clipper gum up. I’d rather pop the blade off and use a brush and air to clean it. Also only oil when I can feel like it needs it. It will dry up and you can feel it hesitate to cut. Cool care often will keep it lubed for a while, oil every few days 👌🏻

Seancutshair ok I shall try a new blade. I took the blade off and too see it has abit of brown scrape mark? Is that bad? And around the motor the metal bit has faintish brown colour?
Cool care is more of a temporary fix but less “messy” When you oil them they tend to gum up with hair since they’re so lubricated. Never a bad thing to oil them. But I do it after cleaning and leave them to sit over night
You remove the foam from the inside your babyliss? Because for a while i just let it set in there and finally, i just removed it and added a lil piece of foam It wouldn't burn right? Or cause damage especially since i gaped my clippers? Hopefully you understand what im asking because sometimes i dont even know wtf im doing or asking. Thank you for the video very helpful

Another question about the babyliss gold fx, is there a way to quiet them down again? I remember comments about them being quiet in the beginning & getting louder later but damn, these mfs so got damn loud... Let me know, thanks
I knew few of this steps though, but you using that compressor you call it to blow off hair from the clipper isn't it the same you use for hair enhancement 🤔
Also I know some cordless items say not to keep on charger 247 how do you feel about it? I just bought the Rose gold FX, Skeletons and balders and I’ve been leaving them on the charger all night is this ok?
Is there a big difference between clipper oils? I usually use Wahl oil on both my Icon and Andis T-Outliner. I'm asking because I need to buy more oil and all I can find is Andis (which does seem a little thinner). Wahl is saying you should ONLY use their oil on their clippers, but does it really make a difference? 🤔
Was just talkin about that earlier. Not sure it’s 100% necessary but may help with the noise. Eventually after cleaning mine end up coming off most the time.
