If you love something deeply, let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it wasn't yours. This is the true heart of philosophy.

Thing is it's not a matter of choice. Letting go will happen no matter what, there is nothing to hold on to. Everything falls apart. If you make peaces with that, that's when you truly start to live.

If i let go of the very thing i love, how then do i love it?
Objects are temporary, no matter what form it takes, it is temporary and as such i suffer. Because i long for the one thing i dont have to let go of and which is not in a temporary state.
The one thing i want to keep forever, which is love by itself.
Everything else is like a speck of dust and entirely unimportant.

Not holding on to grudges, not holding on to beliefs, opinions, relationships, ideas and even fears is the truest meaning of letting go. Just to be in the natural state of mind where we can accept what is. Anyways what is will always change do we cannot hold on to that as well. I find being child like in accepting what is has brought me tremendous peace. People, events, things come and go but nobody can take away the peace within. It came with years of practicing to be that way. Now there’s only joy.

How lucky are we to have had Alan Watts alive in a time where he could record his lectures/ talks/ speeches/ guided meditations and debates...
I think ive listened to a vast majority of his full lectures on TH-cam.
    But i always revisit...
It reminds me of the beauty of existence and non existence...

Sometimes i have so much to say but then the words come out from all sorts of directions.
I remember asking our pastor a question once back when i was still a church congregant. He was teaching from 1 Corinthians 13, when Paul begins to say that we are looking as if through a dark reflection, but then we shall see face to face and know who we truly are. His teaching was that we are currently in that realm of knowing, of existing, but its in our own perceptions that we can't understand who we actually are. I asked him, when then will God stop being mysterious? I was young then and asked out of genuine ignorance. But he was taken back by my question and he brought it to the attention of the entire congregation and said at that time that it was one of the best questions he'd ever had.
His response was, if God stopped being mysterious, he'd stop being God.
It's been about 20 years since then and I still think about this a lot. Cause i felt that it really didn't answer my question.
There are patterns everywhere. And i wish people didnt ignore what i have to say. No one engages with you about these deeper esoteric teachings. They rather debate and quarrel about God's existence, or if not, it's about politics. But it's all a distraction. It's just noise. Completely pointless. I mean, absolutely inessential. So much so, that people will double down on their dogmas and their politics just to continue to ignore the blatant realization that it's all meaningless. I could spend an entire day talking about how our egos love to distract itself from illusions.
No one speaks about art these days. Even the religious ones. Especially them. And it's too bad because all those things pertaining to faith, spirituality, etc stem from the same source where art comes from.
The same source where dreams come from. But we ignore it because it doesnt make sense to our brains. We're afraid of the mysterious. Just like when the Israelites were afraid of God when his voice boomed from Mt. Sinai and thunder and lightning followed and the earth trembled. Moses was the outlier. The artist. He stepped into the thick darkness to confront his shadow, like Carl Jung says. He wanted to see God's face, but it was denied because he would die, if he did so.
And if they only heard that voice deep inside, they'd began to hear the patterns. They'd feel the heartbeat of it all. It's the same darn thing that Jesus spoke about. It's the same darn thing that Buddhism teaches.
It's the same darn thing you experience on a mind bending psychedelic trip.
I once wrote down a thing when I ate some edibles. It told me that the geometric fractals we see in psychedelics are found throughout all religious texts. It's not the fractals that have meaning. It's just a symbol. Like a compass. Everything aligns and a perspective of today, is just a fragment of the greater perspective. That's why it says in the bible that he is the alpha and omega, the beginning and end, first and last, the one who was, and is, and is to come. And then it says that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. All of your experiences are illusions. But who you really are is just one point of the fractal to the greater extension of the big geometric and mindbending figure that some call God.

I prayed to God for truth. Many years ago. I did with in days. We live in death. Or should I say. What I saw. Was a darkness like slave, I had no body. I was Spirit/ soul. No need to breath, speaking was telepathic. I saw the room I was in. I saw me in that room. It seemed only a very short time. I don't remember much else. I suddenly was back in my body. This is detail enough. I definitely believe in Yhwh/ God/G-d. Who is above all. I believe Yeshua is Messiah and not God.
I've had visions from God since I was little. All came to pass. When I died. Or what ever that was. I saw truth. Reality not on earth. This I believe is where the word realm comes from. Anyway I do not and never practiced any witchcraft, sorcery or any kind of hoky poky. These visions were unprovoked. Since I was a child. I've watched the Bible change over and over. Appears to be according to what the Govs want at this time of changes. Simple words do change, a sentence, verse, a chapter, and entire books meaning.
Back to point. God gave me a vision of a Bible verse day before I died in 2014 or 2015. Spring summer season.
      1 Cor. 15:27-28. A
I told everyone online. In person. I was attacked fir it. From all. Especially all forms of churches. I asked God what he wants me to do with that information. Then,
Early morning this vision came to me.
      12:30am. Eastern time USA Jan 4, 2022
While asleep. I asked God. What do you want me to do? I woke. Right away. I suddenly had a vision. I saw a closed BIBLE open up (Symbol). It had
blank white pages with one word written across both pages. In giant black letters. It said,
      TESTIFY !
      *
I have witnesses for these visions.
      911
      Ok bombing
      Death Dale Earnheart
      Death of Katy Courics husband.
Most visions happened with no one around.
Either way. They all came to be.
      These all were almost instant.

I was hit by a truck and thrown through the air. After going into shock and before the helicopter took me off to surgery, I had a similar experience. I was looking up at the clouds and having this moment of clarity. Later while reading War and Peace the soldier character was shot in battle and looked up at the clouds and described a similar experience. I felt like the author knew of something interesting.

I’ll say it again as I’ve said many times, and hopefully it will stick or the word will spread: Stopit! Stop it! Stop it! You don’t need to add video or music to what the speaker is saying. The words can stand on their own. When you add video or music, it’s distracting. With someone like Allen Watts speaking, the words are key. And it’s not something you can’t to with a “brush over mentality .” You really have to pay close attention to what he’s saying. So even if I don’t watch the video and want to hear Alan speak, the music gets in the way. You’re not improving anything by adding video to it. I would recommend you spend more time putting into practice what he is saying, instead of trying to improve upon it by adding all the crap to his recordings.
