I hope nintendo continues to put mario in a creative path like oddesey. This game was one of the few instances where they really thought outside of the box and got creative with their bosses and stages. Instead of the typical bowser and koopas, it was wario and witches and aliens ect. Marios latest 2D platformers (new super mario bros series) can be creative again if they thought outside of the box like they did in this game.
I really think this was an underrated track. Also would a Diddy Kong Racing sequel that added characters from My Hero Academia, Little Witch Academia, Kirby, The Amazing World of Gumball, Persona 5, Family Guy, Crash Bandicoot and RWBY with Haruko from FLCL, Ash Ketchum, Hat Kid, Popuko and Pipmi from Pop Team Epic, Bomberman, Beavis and Butthead also being there surpass Garfield Kart in quality?
