The Exploring Series I sub to several readers. While as great as these are(you would absolutely get views doing just reads, guaranteed), what you do sets you apart from typical readers. I think I can speak for most on here when I say, keep doing what you're doing, we love these. While all your work in Exploring is superb, these are absolutely special. Do not change a thing. The hard work comes thru in every sentence of your work. You've hit upon a wonderful vein of stories and we are eating it up. If they had a Super-Like Button, we all would hit it. The Exploring Series I enjoy these a lot more then readings as they feel like lore videos on the scp world rather then just the short story that has been read by many others. The uniqueness of your videos is why I watch these rather then just listen to somebody read them, as I can read them myself, but wont know the backround of all the things like the mythology part of The Deer, that I never knew despite reading the scp before

The IKEA is something else entirely. 184 can make buildings into mazes, but it can’t make entities within them or move the structure to a completely different universe, with entrances in multiple dimensions.

maybe, if so the creator of the ikea accidentally put it in a random ikea and somone else bound ikeas together as one and then turned it into a multi - universe sized object and made it impossible to remove that version from there and it was a eventual possibility that such could happen, no that it WOULD happen, the foundation could theroretically make a unlimited amount of 184 if it is, but that means each ikea is seperated (by walls) and that there is a concrete exit in some alternate universe, thus not possible through normal means, other than thamutergists and reality benders and other scps messing with how 184 works, i just want to know though, what made ours a broken one?
It could be. Maybe it expanded so much that it made contact with other dimensions. 3008-1 could have come from one of those dimensions.
But I don't think there are strange objects in the Ikea, and we know that 184 at some point will start to create random weird objects.
I just had a pretty interesting theory pop into my head about SCP-184. One that is pretty obvious, but really blows my mind when I started thinking about the implications. As both the proposal and it's original document states, The Architect creates and duplicates structures interiors with flaws and with plenty of anomalous features and details. What if it is possible that at least several of the many items and creatures logged in the SCP Universe were flawed duplicates created by 184?

There's a risk that that would constitute a containment breach. They've tried transporting this thing in a box before, and it resulted in a maze of cardboard rooms.

I just started to get into the SCP Universe a couple days ago and I'm amazed at how bizarre and incredible it can be.
In a dimension visited a while ago, this anomaly had been stolen from containment and was missing for over 15 years. Turns out someone stashed it in a suitcase and forgot about it.

Im pretty sure if you destroy the structure from the outside, it reverts to its normal state and falls apart as such. So when you destroy it youll find this scp in the rubble pretty easily.

I remember living in a hostel here for 2 months in '93. Fortunately, was in the exterior wall, but looking in was nightmarish - interior shafts filled with debris; dank passages leading off into darkness, and doors everywhere. Didn't realise the claustrophobia of its scale until years later when I saw an aerial shot.

@Danothyus1 The two artists are two Eldritch Gods, one benevolent and the other malevolent. I don't remember the whole thing but the benevolent one sacrificed itself to contain/keep the malevolent one away. The last picture depicts the malevolent one's tendrils coming to Earth ever closer.

So keeping it outside was actually a very bad idea.
The fondation should keep it inside a cardboard, and regularly destroy the cardboard and put it inside a new one.
That would probably contain the architect.
Honestly this is a great containment procedure, so long as the box contains its effects, I even think the Foundation could stash it there indefinitely.
Could the Architect be the cause of the infinite Ikea, showing what would happen if SCP-184 stays in the room for a very long time, and at a certain point, it would also start creating its own interpretations of the people that frequent that room, explaining the vaguely humanoid Ikea workers

I always had a head-canon that if he did ever reawaken, he would no longer care about Xenos, think the Emperium as a failure, and consider himself fully responsible, considering only Chaos now to be the true threat.

Of all the 001 proposals, this is my favorite one. It's such a slap in the face when you first listen to it. It really makes you go, "huh, so none of this *gestures at everything* really matters. Fuck."

The funny thing is, the picture this is based on is of an object that we didn't know what it was for- we didn't know until very recently. It was thought to be a fetish, an object of worship, and more. We now know that this item exists... so that we can knit gloves. The dodecahedron shape makes it perfectly suited for the task.
Nice one again. There is simply so much woder in the SCP universe, perhaps you should do the Wanderer's Library (and the Serpent's Hand) next. The Magical side of the SCP Universe is also pretty interesting.

What the IKEA store thing is just a perfect version of this scp (except this one has monsters, but that could be explained away by saying maybe after it perfected structures this scp tried replicating human life like the employees but couldn't quite get it right)
One of my faves conceptually, I forget if the tale implied this but the idea that maybe we're one of the faulty copies and that there's a more perfect galaxy (I suppose containing Ideals) that we're from, maybe 184 is a faulty copy of the original, who know
The problem with SCP-184 being SCP-001 is that it is not a threat to local reality. It could be in a billion years, but not now.
That's what you think.. Wait until another (pregnant and dangerous) SCP eats it and it's internal organs are copied until it eventually spawns near infinite baby SCPs

SCP-3008 wasn't created by SCP-184, as it's not a labyrinth of anomalous rooms. Instead, it's an infinite space inside an IKEA store filled with strange creatures and people who went inside it.

001 doesn't have to be an imediate threat at all, the stack of papers and Spiral Path are very much harmless as well as the historical revisionist one.

I can see how 184 was considered a 001 proposal when its power escalated to a universal scale. And it wasn't the last 001-potential SCP to not receive a 001 proposal as SCP-2845 definitely earned that right after the Site 13 incident where it fought along side the Gate Guardian. Then there is of course 6500 that was able to neutralize hundreds of SCPs. Then there are the other SCPs that can cause different types of K-Class world scenarios that isn't in the 001 slots. It shows that SCPs don't just look for powerful SCPs for the 001 proposals

SCP 184 really likes the Milky Way, I guess..
So much that it considered our galaxy as a "room" and proceeded to endlessly copy it into the newly formed space as the universe continues to be expanded. Also makes me think that the universe might have stopped expanding for a short time when it was enclosed in the different houses and buildings here on Earth, instead of outside and enclosed inside the walls of estimated infinity.

I've been listening to this series as background noise while closing my store and listening to this one made me think of the Event Horizon as possibly being part of the scp universe as an alternative to the theory that it is in the WH40K universe.
Think about the possibilities with 2719, the variable abstract-metaphysical pointer. 184 would either be the inside or would be inside something. If 184 was considered inside, it would either contain itself or would create some sort of paradox.
This SCP is a great reflection of the Personality type that shares it's name.
New containment procedure:
Swing it on a pendulum between the outside and a building.
My inner monologue while listening to this:
"So there's a bunch of copies that are getting more and more warped as they get further out. What does this have to do with 18- OH MY GOD I FIGURED IT OUT! 2 and 2 have been put together!"

I remember there's an SCP-001 that's an unbreakable sphere containing our universe, practically residing in the same universe that it contains. So it's still a structure in which SCP-184 resides so it expands the interior of the sphere, the universe.

This device sounds like a malfunctioning piece of Galifrayian technology, perhaps a malformed piece of a grown TARDIS. For reference, yes. TARDIS's are apparently grown, not built. Which means that technically, it could suffer from a type of cellular disease, like cancer, that causes it to grow in incorrect ways.
