SCP-2935 is a great exploratory one. An entire world where all life just stopped at once and all anomalous things ceased to be, all because someone walked into a cave in Indiana.
SCP 087 is about a locked door hidden behind a bookshelf. Behind the door itself there is a staircase which goes down seemingly forever. A child is heard at the bottom crying but no matter how far down you go you never reach the bottom ... Or return.

This story really captures to me the best of SCPs in a lot of ways. You have the bureaucratic nightmare marching people to their deaths in creepy ways, unexplainable objects with questionable histories, and worldbuilding, just oceans of worldbuilding. The story told in this SCP could easily justify novels, and unlike so many others it isn't wasted on an edgy spooky badass or drowned in gory purple prose, but just given an unsettling atmosphere and just enough of a window into some strange other world to leave us wondering. Its perfect, if there was more like it I might actually visit their website more than once a year.
Only thing you forgot to mention was that only the scientists see the weird figure people through the videofeed and only the subjects could see the vile torso-less monsters. For some reason the camera didnt pick them up
So you have two choices, either become a six-storey humanoid that can absorb people or an immortal ghost that can only be seen through cameras. Honestly, I wouldn't mind either one.

The ultimate SCP is the one where WE are the ones being secured, contained, and protected. We go about our lives completely oblivious to the watchers behind our mirror, documenting and classifying everything we do. We will never know what's beyond these padded walls. If you were a powerful deep-state organization interested in experimenting with the relationship between people's beliefs, thoughts, and their actions both online and in the real world - or perhaps a black-ops military-intelligence agency seeking to covertly implant specific ideas into the public consciousness in preparation for eventual disclosure - then the SCP community would certainly be an attractive Petrie dish. Obviously, the majority of SCP files are works of pure fiction, written and maintained by authentic members of a dedicated community. Yet amidst the fiction, there may in fact be a small number of submissions and edits which have been carefully planted by _agent provocateurs_ of a slow-burn black-budget project, funded and coordinated by a shadowy organization for the purpose of gradually acclimating sections of the public to the plausibility of certain supernatural concepts. If even 0.1% of the site turned out to be true, it's difficult to imagine what the implications would be for our world. Not blaming you or anything, just defending the dude because it was an honest lil mistake.
These scp’s with the really extensive exploration logs were always my favorites, especially the earlier ones. They all read more like stories than just logs of anomalous items.
This is part of another story of a dimension hopper who is a scientist that travelled into a world that was very religious and those of sin had to be washed by "tears", but the tears were actually a substance created by and controlled by the government and it caused people to turn into these giant mutant creatures that absorbed people they came into contact with. It tells the story of his exploration of this world. He developed an antidote and when administered to the mutants they turned back into the original person and every person the mutant had ever absorbed came back. So those giant humanoid creatures consist of the original inhabitants of the world and now the member of the security detail that dissapeared.
So all they'd have to do to "fix" this situation is to grab an MTF, give them syringe guns loaded with a mass-produced version of the Antidote, and just told to fire at anything that moves and is bigger than a man.
I just listened to that one before re-listening to this one. Since Blackwood’s thing was in the 1800s and this log is much later than that, it only makes me wonder just wtf happened in the ~200 year gap to cause this amount of decay. Subject is able to create items from a table however the night has come... humanoid creatures follow him during the night but he begins to go inside a house but he instead finds another D-class subject from another dimension. Both subjects begin turning blocky until they realize... Oh crap it’s Minecraft.
@Nicholas Demond if you could actually have constructive critisim then just commenting something quick to get likes you bowl of expired soup I might actually care about what you say.
With the story of SCP-093 this could really become I popular game with how the purge of the uncleaned began and how the world wiped its self out by this god like creature. With the final chapters of the game align with the class-Ds and the doctor exploring their world. From what I have watch this game created around SCP-093 can become vastly popular if someone where to create it. Just a thought on SCP-093 when I was watching.
I like this SCP, it reminds me of a book series I never finished while I was at school (the school only had the first two books and there was at least 4) It was about two mirror identical brothers, one of them dies and goes to an alternate Earth kind of like this. While the other brother watches the real world crumble, all the while they are connected telepathically but only just.
With a few exceptions none of the people sent into the mirror see the normal-sized ghost people watching them, which is way way creepier. This is like the first good long form SCP. A true gem
Awesome series sir. I've listened to all of TheVolgun archives over the last month and this seris is complimenting that channel perfectly... Daleport is currently my favourite, with this SCP being one of my top 10. ~ Again, awesome work ~ - I must say, being a child of the 60s/70s, the whole SCP phenomena has an extremely dark Nigel Kneale, Doctor Who (Tom Baker) feel to it, with healthy doses of Lovecraft thrown into the mix, ~ LOVE IT!
This was all cool up until the eldritch being part, especially when the eldritch being had some sort of god complex to it. SCPs are most frightening when their purpose remains unknown.
this; i love eldritch horror all the same, but it's become such a cliche in SCP that it's become boring. like, yes, humans are insignificant, who gives a shit anymore??
what would be funny and I hope its true is that He is really not that special. That the whole idea is that the Holy Fathers made the tears, not the eldritch being. Its implied the being uses the disks to hop dimensions... what if hes just mortal and using dimensions and posing as an eldritch being. Everything else was made by the natives of 093 universe... its all built on fear
Please do a video on the Scarlet King. It's odd that he's considered the most evil and dangerous entity in the multiverse, and yet he doesn't have an official SCP designation number.

Your videos and narration give a whole new meaning to the SCP Universe, and I especially love this episode. Amazing work, you’ve definitely earned my sub and have my notification bell turned on. Can’t wait to see more episodes.
Great video, since I personally prefer reading over listening (since I zone out thinking about certain things I heard/read) I only listened to parts of your video. Overall you give an impressive summary and don't miss out on important details to my knowledge. I appreciate you making these videos as i can use to read & enjoy them on the SCP wiki site, so thank you, (and regardless if seen by any writers) and those creative enough to make & maintain the scp wiki!
So this is a mirror dimension that also is a present past and future revolves around your life or multiple people. And the humanoids are multi dimensional beings.
well sorta, its kinda hard to explain but the humanoids were actually the inhabitants of the other side, whatever happened to them is explained one way or another but no way am i going to do it here in this comment.
No its another dimension in the same time but in this world, all life was eradicated in the 1950s after some sort of higher being came to their world and gifted them with technological advancements.
"a humanoid entity at least 50x larger than a human" assuming that "regular human" is 5'8, that's 283 feet (86 meters). I don't know if youve seen something close to that size in real life like I have but take my word for it when I say that THAT is a big boy right there
One of my fav SCPs, read it a few times but somehow never realized it was caused by a universe-hopping self-styled elder being... takes the shine off this a little bit but I'm glad everything actually sticks together (as before I enjoyed but didn't see how some of it fit together) v cool vid series also!
Ah the lord himself, maybe one day, he'll get a SCP designation himself. Only the truly unclean would survive alongside him, now there are no unclean people, as far as I know. One thing I'll tell you is that he is far mightier than SCP-343.
the very first exploration log always reminds me of Annihilation, because of the figure(s) they see at the end of the tunnel, and being very unknown. Plus the fact of being alone... The writer of this SCP is truly talented. One of my favorites

Wow this was pretty good, though now I think the death stranding game by kojima is based off of this scp
After I saw this video I got the same vibe that kojima kinda borrowed from this scp file
Kojima's the kind of guy who would trawl through stuff like SCP. He's an information sponge.
Let's not forget that this SCP is the focal point of one of Lord Blackwood's tales!
Awesome series sir. I've listened to all of TheVolgun archives over the last month and this seris is complimenting that channel perfectly... Daleport is currently my favourite, with this SCP being one of my top 10. ~ Again, awesome work ~
- I must say, being a child of the 60s/70s, the whole SCP phenomena has an extremely dark Nigel Kneale, Doctor Who (Tom Baker) feel to it, with healthy doses of Lovecraft thrown into the mix, ~ LOVE IT!
TheVolgun huh? he's kul
What number is the Daleport SCP
Why am I thinking of Death Stranding all of a sudden?
Klapp Stuhl great now I'm imagining a squad of SCP agents running around with their armor suits and baby tanks
Klapp Stuhl, same.
@Bring peter griffin to Super Smash bros HAHAHAHAA
Same, what if this is what it's based on
Sci-fi horror. That's why!
I got into scp almost 5 years ago, and to this day this is still my favorite scp.
Im starting to like this SCP stuff. Has some good stories.
Confinement Ep3 introduced me to this scp, I love it
Scruffles De-Brickashaw I found this in my feed the recognized the monster from that episode,it’s soooo cool
In all fairness this was made before godlike entities were a cliche in the SCP wiki
I think this was the first eldritch godlike being scp considering how old this story is
what would be funny and I hope its true is that He is really not that special. That the whole idea is that the Holy Fathers made the tears, not the eldritch being. Its implied the being uses the disks to hop dimensions... what if hes just mortal and using dimensions and posing as an eldritch being. Everything else was made by the natives of 093 universe... its all built on fear
Lord Blackwood in the land of the unclean
Please do a video on the Scarlet King. It's odd that he's considered the most evil and dangerous entity in the multiverse, and yet he doesn't have an official SCP designation number.
Bob Walsh isn't is 2317?
Bob Walsh Pretty sure he’s 2317.
@@phierle1061 No he's not. 2317 is a different demon, and the ritual of the Scarlet King mentioned in it was just a way to keep staff calm by thinking The Foundation has it under control. In truth, the Scarlet King has nothing to do with 2317.
There's a 001 proposal about the Scarlet King. Quite a good read.
I think it's funny scarlet King is considered safe

This is one of the first SCPs I actually got stuck on, way back in like 2011. Read the entire thing. There's soooooo much. If you go on the website, it'll take you a lot longer than 21 minutes to get through this one.
This is one of my absolutely favorite SCPs. I'm glad to see someone covered it!

I have been watching The Exploring Series for quite some time now, and my goodness, I can’t stop watching more.
And the humanoids are multi dimensional beings.
well sorta, its kinda hard to explain but the humanoids were actually the inhabitants of the other side, whatever happened to them is explained one way or another but no way am i going to do it here in this comment.
its another dimension
No its another dimension in the same time but in this world, all life was eradicated in the 1950s after some sort of higher being came to their world and gifted them with technological advancements.

"a humanoid entity at least 50x larger than a human" assuming that "regular human" is 5'8, that's 283 feet (86 meters). I don't know if youve seen something close to that size in real life like I have but take my word for it when I say that THAT is a big boy right there
This SCP alone deserves to have its own game.
My favorite SCP, hands down
One of my fav SCPs, read it a few times but somehow never realized it was caused by a universe-hopping self-styled elder being... takes the shine off this a little bit but I'm glad everything actually sticks together (as before I enjoyed but didn't see how some of it fit together) v cool vid series also!
I always used to think the side was like 10cm or so in diameter
Idk why
How it’s described seems tiny to me now
Ah the lord himself, maybe one day, he'll get a SCP designation himself. Only the truly unclean would survive alongside him, now there are no unclean people, as far as I know. One thing I'll tell you is that he is far mightier than SCP-343.
The thing is about scp 343 is that he has some sort of physic powers that altering the people and reports so it might all be sham
Me: Okay so let's catapult 682 into the elritch bastards face and watch with some popcorn.
“This is from the Matrix but you get the idea”
Most people: “meh, used what he could”
Me: “that movie was so freakin’ good!”
So this is where hideo kojima got his idea for death stranding
Andre Carter no this is the same genre. Scientist-like characters going through some sci-fi lovecraftian horror phenomenas.
Btw, he has a video on 'What is the SCP Foundation' already - its a good introduction for such a big community.
the very first exploration log always reminds me of Annihilation, because of the figure(s) they see at the end of the tunnel, and being very unknown. Plus the fact of being alone... The writer of this SCP is truly talented. One of my favorites
Eldritch being: Can I have some oreos?
SCP foundation member: "destroys the red disk"
Eldritch being: YOU ATE ALL MY OREOS!
