    Ha ha, he just mentioned people who start on one task, and get stuck on that one thing. That would be me! I do have to set an alarm. Every month or so, I write a short story for my super sweet girlfriend, Janice. And once I get started writing, I want to keep writing to flesh out the scene I am working on. She is the sweetest woman in the whole wide world, and she loves my stories. But I do have plenty of other things to do.

    • @DayliteSmallBusiness
      @DayliteSmallBusiness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Not exactly sure how he does it in 5 min increments but maybe instead of using 1 hour chunks he viewed it in segments of 5 mins? (just a guess!)

    Something missed: should we print the calendar?

  • @Sebastian-vg9nt
    @Sebastian-vg9nt ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question. What if one misses a time box or several time boxes during a day for whatever reason maybe because one was too lazy. Should one focus on the latest time box and ignore the missed time box/ boxes or what do you suggest?

    • @prestochango17
      @prestochango17 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Move on and keep the flow going. During your daily review (that evening or the next morning) you access why those boxes were missed and what to change.

    So hard to do when my calendar is fully blocked with other people’s meetings 😢

  • @devarni
    @devarni 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you only block the type in the calendar, it is not timeboxing but calendarblocking? Where is the difference exactly?

    • @jltdrum
      @jltdrum 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly my question. They're talking about time blocking basically.

    Want to watch, but the flipping screens is distracting. And why do tubers point up in the air to reference another video? There is never anything there.

    • @DayliteSmallBusiness
      @DayliteSmallBusiness  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Kim, may I ask what you mean by flipping screens?
      Depending on the platform you are watching videos on, you should see what they call cards in the top corner to where TH-camrs points.
      Thanks for the feedback.
