The moth is definitely my favorite but they are both so beautiful
They are both so impressive! It's hard to choose....I think maybe the moth!!

I am completely enchanted.
I have never seen how “something like that” come to pass.
How fascinating that is.
These colors and in which sequence they are applied and how the owl is worked out
...as a "normal person" I would try to paint what is "underneath" somehow "in between"...
I have absolutely no idea about painting or the structure of a picture.
I feel “enlightened.”
And no, I can't say which one I like more.
I could stare at both of them for hours and keep remembering how they were painted.
To be honest, I watched the vid three times.
Both motifs are so radiant, seem so magical, like the voice that explains everything.
What a wonderful, fulfilling talent they have.
This will stay with me for a long time and I will look at pictures differently in the future.

Love this video. Love both the moth and owl. I love the contrast of the yellow and pinks with the owl. I can feel the softness of the moth. How do you coordinate oils with the baby? He must be a year old now?? Time flies! I have wanted to try oils for a long time but didn’t think it was possible with the fumes and children/asthma.
Thank you!! The oils I use are professional grade and hardly smell at all! I’ve found lesser quality oils to smell terrible. I also use Eco House Citrus thinner. What usually does smell is my water based spray paint, so when I do use that I keep my door shut and open my windows when I can. I keep my door shut anyways though because he crawls and gets into everything!

Hi Allison, your art is amazing. I think I like the one with the deer in the background the most. I am in the Milan programme too, about to launch into my mixed media art portfolio. I wish to learn how to double image to make my paintings more interesting. Are you using Pixelmator to do yours? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Lesley
Hey Lesley! How exciting you’re starting portfolio! I used Procreate but Pixelmator you can do the same thing. I use the blending modes to create a double exposure affect. The blending modes I really like are lighten and screen. I know the Milan’s have videos on how to do that in their Art Club on Art Social. Hope that helps!

Hi! The paintings are beautiful. I'm confused about what you did though. Did you create the paintings digitally and then recreate them on canvas or did you paint someone else's digital work? I got confused when you said they were your inspiration and you were finding your style, but then you painted them almost exactly. Either way, the butterfly is my favorite. ❤️
I created digital mock-ups of my paintings first. I combined multiple references together, colors, and overlays. It’s my own work 😊 thanks for watching!!
