It’s very interesting. I was reading a scientific article that stated we all to one degree or another read lips. I have a dear friend who has hearing aids & brought me some of her great cooking when both my husband & I were too sick to cook for ourselves.
While we visited, socially distanced & masked up, I had to speak louder then normal bc she couldn’t read my lips (she told me this); we figured out how to make it work & I told her abt the fact we all need to read lips.
I’m so sorry my friend is hard of hearing now. It’s a tragedy that she needs hearing aids based on what happened to her to ruin her hearing. My heart goes out to her.
