It's punk in the 80's. , And who hasn't had the most adolescent & trivial conversations at that age. Heck we're a lot older today and we still do it haha
@@doubtshadow1 Just imagine, at one point punk was aggressive and antisocial. It wasn't politically correct or safe.
@@zippymufo9765you’re correct that punk was aggressive and antisocial, but that was directed at authority and the establishment. punching down and victimising other people wasn’t punk. Rollins has since commented on this incident and clearly regrets the way he acted.
i wont allow the meat puppets slander
That kid look like the biggest poser
Which one of Rollins’ secret boyfriends are you?
honesty is considered mean????
I dont think he was being a prick I think he changed that kids outlook and influenced how he did things going forward and how he approached and talked to people. Rollins made him think vs just giving the usual bs answers.
when was this taped?
I like Rollins but I hope he regrets this memory
why the dislikes?
I've always found Henry Rollins kind of insufferable. Interviews like this are a good example of why. I respect some of his music knowledge but that's about it. When he starts speaking his mind about other topics, I have to tune out.
Henry has always been cringe
Kid was a poser and trying too hard. Regardless of who was right, and both were probably in the wrong, that much is for sure.
Dude trolled HR hard lol. Good job.
Uh, I think the opposite actually happened.
first
I used to think Henry schooled this kid until you grow up and realize that punk music is not rock music: it’ll never be like Pink Floyd, Scorpions, Santana, or even the likes of AC/DC and Motörhead 😂 punk music is punk music and is what its meant to be: ugly music. And don’t get me wrong I love ugly music. But it’s better to admit that’s what it is instead of pretending it’s some ground breaking phenomena that no one has dared to take on before. Kid would’ve had a better time interviewing Lemmy or Joey Ramone 🤣🤣🤣
Henry such a tool
3:50 kid tries to take the mic back , but fails. Had me cringing
Rollins is trying to man this kid up. Good work man. Basically being a dad to this kid
Fuckin love Henry

I love how everybody out there is giving Henry grief about this like he’s still the same person that he was then. If anything this is a testament to the growth he’s had since then. This was punk rock. This was the way it used to be. He’s Judd Nelson in the breakfast club. People like that, should they survive long enough, usually become wise people. It would be far more disappointing if he just bent to the status quo.
he is the same douche bag, just more sober. the person in this video was high
Status quo?.....being civil to a student journalist or, ya know, just declining the interview?
@@doubtshadow1 Sedate all that you hate , it'll get you nowhere
He's still an obnoxious dickhead what do you mean lol he's been a pretentious shit head most of his life lol
