One thing I noticed, the "customers eat slower" thing has another horrible side effect that almost seems like a bug, which is that they make an INSANE amount of mess. The entire floor gets flooded with sludge after just a few groups.
It's not a bug it's a thing with leisurely eating and the slower hobs. You cook soup on a starter hob and you'll get an insane amount of mess. But at least we have robomops and floor protectors and formal decorations
In every region I've ever been, which is a whopping 2, Fried egg means the yolk is broken and the egg is 100% solid. If fried egg means sunny-side up or over easy, then I'm glad I don't exist in those regions.
Where I’m from, we do not have fireflies but we do have faintly glowing larvae. Also, our version of stink bugs has a name that translates as “berry farts”.

57:57 the ways to cook eggs are interesting cause like. you go: over easy (cooked lightly, runniest yoke), over medium (slightly browned, runny yoke), over hard (fried but with some yoke), fried (broken yoke, well cooked), sunny (cooked on one side, runny yoke), basted (sunny but with a glaze of steam over top to lightly cook the top side), boiled (can do soft or hard boil), and poached (cracked into boiling water). it's so wild just how many different ways you can serve eggs; and i'm sure there's plenty of ways i don't know about yet!
lol "watery" eggs are poached eggs, I usually make it with truffle oil, I have a pan that is small but it boils water underneith the other pan and there is a cover so I put oil and vinegar (tiny amount to not stick) then it takes 6 mins to get a perf egg. idk what mcdonalds does though.
The only way you can be certain of a restaurants cleaning practices is know someone who works in the kitchen or you work/worked there yourself. One job I almost got fired for getting in a loud argument with another cook. He wanted to rinse off a cutting board used for raw chicken and I wanted to clean it properly. I yelled at him to go him and I’d do it but he refused. Why I almost got fired? I’ll never know but I have plenty of ideas

Before you start a game, you can bring items with you into your next restaurant. They're the items you get after completing a round, which show up as boxes in the side room with the shelves and converter machine. You can also put boxes into the converter to get a different item.
Lmao the host stand is just a way to increase the difficulty. All it does is make people wait outside more often to make you lose the game and adds another step that's not needed. It's literally the opposite of a coffee table in the game lol. Just pointless. You also put yourself at the mercy of weather outside. It's just dumb like the dumb waiter that literally nobody uses. They also could have easily just served off the counters on this map. I think they were just intentionally trying to make it harder lol.
It actually gives a huge boost to waiting. And people don't need to stand outside - coffee tables work perfectly fine. It actually helps a lot in this game mode - because waiting time is lowered, especially for dates, first dates and double dates. Also you can still pick the menus for people over the counter. And it also works with automation of tables. It also adds extra timer for waiting to he sitted, which gives you up to 5 different timers (outside, coffee table, host stand, waiting for order, waiting for food).
I do agree it's harder to manage, if you don't have intuition for it. But it feels more like perfect a multiplayer addition. This will be super fun to watch with streamers who RP the restaurant.

Tried the valentines round with my sister yesterday. So excited i made it to overtime 15 for the first time.
I'm kinda disappointed we don't have new dishes for it. Would be perfect occasion to add pasta or bigger desserts.
