That's a great guide. I installed the mods one-by-one as the video progressed and launched the game at the end...where it crashed. I'll follow the advice from the end of the video, to test the game after each mod is installed, on my next attempt. I'd SO LOVE to rid myself of that central mountain on the Isla Sorna map.
Yes mate. Have you got the mods working now? Also yes it is very possible to flatten that horrible central mountain lol. Completely pointless and ruins that map.

Any idea where the extended feeders have gone? Modding seems to have removed them from my game. Hardly an issue.
That is 100% my pleasure buddy. I am always very happy to know that my guides are helping people out. Also I am not entirely sure about extended feeders. If you can provide more information about that please. As far as I know there is a single mod that adds 1 ground based fish feeder to the game but other than that I have no idea.
@@wondersgtagaming Hej, again thank you. It’s not a major deal. Pre mods, I had feeder options that were the vanilla options simply; ground herb, tall herb, meat, live and fish. Without mods, the latest available update provided those options as well as feeders that sat next to the standard options. They were denoted with two of the symbols ( two leafstalks or two steaks) to indicate double the amount of stock a feeder could house. It just meant larger gaps between each restock of the feeders. Perhaps it was an unlock. Either way, the game feels fresh again thanks to your tutorial and the mod authors.
@@wondersgtagaming Because I replaced my game folder I reset my progress just to make sure your guide worked. I forgot that the feeders are upgradable. As suspected, I overlooked. Cheers

I wish I saw this sooner. Much sooner. I had issues where the game would crash within 15 to 30 min of play. Haven't been able to get past Matenceros because of the crashes but following this should definitely help. Will give an update once I get everything back in order.
Awesome. I look forward to hearing how it goes. following this guide you should not have any issues. The main problems people face in terms of crashing is incorrectly installed new species alongside the ACSe so if there is any issues then i would recommend starting there. A good tip is to not go overboard with new species. Just install maybe 10-30 of the ones that you wish to use. Any more than that especially in campaign will cause overlapping icons and potential conflicts between the species. Anyways dude. Good luck with it all.
@@wondersgtagaming so I have good news. No more crashing so far. Played the entire RTJP dlc with no crashes. Only issue I have right now which is a minor issue I have downloaded two research mods and their icons somewhat over lap but doesn't break the game. Hopefully a compatibility patch comes out for them. But again thank you for the awesome modding guide.
@@wondersgtagaming correction, the icons are no longer overlapping. The game literally fixed the icons itself. Not sure how it did it but not gonna complain. I guess the quote from Jurassic Park also implies to the game. "Life, uh... finds a way"

@@user-xs4pp1nd9q Couldn't say i haven't played this for awhile now. Don't see why they shouldn't work as the game hasn't been update since before I even played it. Could be if you added any mod that's come out after this video that the mod conflicts with one of the other ones. Or maybe you forgot to install something needed?

I did everything exactly as you said on the first 2 mods. I restarted my laptop and tried to load the game. It crashed in the intro. Idk wtf I'm doing wrong. There were some files on my downloads that yours didn't have. Not sure if it's an updated file or what. I'm to the point I'm probably just going to wait and hope that 2 has all the things I need. I'm defeated
May i ask, i tried it all, but i can't open like the map development to build my own map and i am sitting here after 6 hours and getting mad with more time going down for it xd

What if i want my original dinosaur that i replaced back? Can i do that or would it be just gone.
I'm having problems with downloading new species. I have ACSE installed, the latest version, inside my OVL folder, but I'm running into the problem that when I download a new species, it isn't a normal file like most others and is instead a RAR file. I have no idea how to convert it or how to make it work, and when I put the file in the OVL file, it still does not work. Please help ;-; I would like to note as well that some dinosaurs are normal files when I download, which is either the modder's choice or something weird going on, pretty sure it's the modder's choice though.
Except for the ACSE, each mod presented here comes in the form of a RAR file. You'll need an app/program to unzip. I used WinZip, which can be used for free during a trial period. Hope that helps you.
how dafudge do i delete the expanded islands imean its ok on my sandbox island but when i loaded up a isla pena its look liked sh*t

Amazing Video, very helpful. Some of these mods I can't use since I don't have the DLC's yet, next time they go I sale I guess. I never bought them yet since I was never really impressed with the base game, 1. Because they did not just outright allow for modding, and 2. most importantly, they had no custom island builder to build your own island and not just sandbox mode with one island and still have border limitations. The border limitation on small islands made making a fun park pretty much impossible. But now since there are these mods available now, I just might have fun playing this game now and get the DLC's (On sale of course because I don't feel they need another $40 from me since it was the modders that made this game playable for me)
Also, did you know you don't actually need Return to JP DLC for Ultimate Mixed Era's, since UME does more than just allow you to have JP building, it also allows for overlapping and a bunch of other features that are helpful to even people that don't have the DLC, in the description of the mod it says you don't need the JP DLC, you just won't have the JP features if you don't.

Hi there. I have not loaded JWE1 for quite some time and I remember there was some conflict with one of the mods in this video when combined with expanded behaviour but it would take a long time to look through and test again. I was never a big fan/user of that mod so I didnt include it.

@@WarmasterHorus96 Yeah a lot of the mods will produce an error screen when exiting. Just close it. No harm has ever come to me from that screen. I have seen it probably thousands of times lol.

Hiya mate. Thanks for the great comment. The dirty water is permanent for some maps and is nothing to do with any of the mods on this video. Some maps have clear tropical water and some have the nasty dark water. Hopefully this information helps.

@@achilles8205 Thats all good mate. I do cover the custom dinosaur audio in the video around 22m:30 with an example shown. Hopefully that helps. Make sure to backup your audio files too in case you want to change back to default.

Hello there buddy. I will be making a part 2 for this video very soon. I have had a few requests for information regarding paths mods. However if you need to install a path mod then replace the "pathscore.ovl" at this location Win64/ovldata/content0/environment/paths/pathscore. Hopefully that will be all the information that you require but I will cover it on the next mod guide video if it doesnt help. Remember to back up any folders where you are replacing stuff too just in case it didnt work.

Have you seen a mod for Instant incubation, instant construction? I want to just get the dinosaurs and get them into the park not waiting for them to get done only to edit it all out anyways, saving hours of time. ;-) thank you
Yes mate. It is included in this video. Just go to the "WeMod" chapter. It shows the features of the trainer menu that has all of those functions.

Is there any way to fix this issue I've been having? I just added some mods for the first time, it seemed pretty straightforward from this other video I watched, but I think I may have put some things either in the wrong spot, or just didn't copy correctly or something, but now certain mods are working (like the environment mods) but NONE of the dino's are (At least none of the modded ones, the original unaltered dino's still work). I can incubate them all the way to 100% but when I try to release them nothing happens. It won't let me release anything else after that, or even destroy the hatchery. And then, if I try to close out of the game, it won't close unless I shut down my PC. PLEASE tell me there's some simple fix.
Also, I didn't know what I was doing when I tried to save a backup of the files, so I ended up making a copy of the wrong thing, so I can't even restore the game back to normal because I can't find any original copies.
Hello there mate. I cannot comment on what you may have seen in other videos. Some are fairly bad. This video does show how to install all of the mods listed on the thumbnail and the description though. Also if you require save files then just let me know what dlc you have if any and I will link one my own 100% save file download and install guide videos.
I had a weird bug with this modlist were genes stopped increasing rating and would lose their icons. any idea what that could be?
I have not encountered that bug mate. Are you running any mods that are not shown in this video?
never told us that one of them requires a DLC so how we meant to follow the steps if we cant get the DLC and need the mod for the mods to work ???
Hiya mate. Each DLC is shown at the beginning of each chapter and each mod works independently from one another unless otherwise stated.

I have been using these mods for around 22hours without an issue in sandbox (Nublar) but now my latest saves crash. The save loads, then the terrain tool option on the menu bugs (goes blank) and then the game crashes if anything is clicked. O have tried a fresh install of the game and fresh installation of the mods but it seems to be the same. (Early saves I have still have the terrain tool option and don't crash) I was thinking I have added to much so the game is overloaded but my rtx3080 is only at 45%, (42 degrees) the cpu 10% and ram 27%. Annoying, the park is amazing so far 😂
Hello there buddy. Yeah oddly enough the game received an update (in the the last 24 hours) that reset a lot of my mods too. I simply went through them all and reinstalled them no problem. All saves are working fine again. Just reattempt the install buddy and let me know how it goes.

Will I be able to use Mr.Troodons behaviour mod instead of Expanded Dinosaur behaviour? I just prefer the mod over EDB as it allows more variety in enclosures. (Of course I would have to use cobra tools, I just want to know if it will cause any conflicts.)
Yes mate. You can use the MrTroodon behaviour pack instead. You can also inject the Expanded dinosaur behavior or MrTroodon behaviours together too.

Hello there buddy. Yes it is normal for research icons to overlap and I do mention how to fix it in the video. Just open whichever research you would like to use. Exit that menu and open another, then go back to the first one and it will appear correctly.

Hello buddy. Its been a long time since I modded JWE1 but I believe that the RTJP DLC is needed for mixed eras as it allows use of JP era buildings. You can often find JWE1 and its DLCs on sale for dirt cheap these days though.

Hiya mate. Do you have the return to Jurassic Park DLC? That DLC is required for Mixed Eras to work.

im a bit late for bur now in 2022 what file do i download do i still need choose the one who is compatible with the other mods that i use or just download the latest main file updated on 14 of september drag and drop it would be good to go and no issues with other mods?
Hiya mate. All the mod links in the description of the video will still work fine. Update them if you need to. The game hasnt had a significant update since this video and will probably never get another one so all is good.

dude I think they have changed the files for Environment Rework MOD, the file that you are choosing is not there, so can you please tell which file I have to choose ?
Hello there buddy. The files are still there. Just scroll down a little further to see the "Old Files" section. The mod received a small update but the old way of installing still makes it work the same.

Is it normal for my pc to heat more when using all these mods?
Haha. It depends on how much it is heating up by. As a rule any high demand game will make a PC heat up but these mods should not push your PC past what is considered normal heatup.
When my park start to get full my gpu temp goes high (72c - 79c) but when I start sandbox with flat grassless empty islands my gpu keeps 65c temp. My graphics settings is High TAA with Northfire's Realistic Textures & Northfire's Cinematic Reshade 1080p(with other mods). My gpu is old kinda, it's Nvidia GTX 970 4GB.

Hey Brother great work. However, I have issues with the mods indicated. 1. You didn't go back to finish the "Environment Rework v2.2" install as stated. Stopped at installing the "Terrain" files but didn't come back to install the rest. 2. For Ultimate Eras mods there's a new version 1.7.3 and the "Expanded Behaviour - Pre-injected UME Version" is for Ultimate Eras v1.7 only. 3. Are these mods still working to date? Thanks.
Hiya mate. Thanks for the in depth comment. I will do my best to respond to the points. 1. The second part of Environment rework I return to in the "All Scenery Props Packs" as that what that second part of Environment Rework is, New Scenery Items. 2. Yes use the latest version of Ultimate Mixed Eras. 3. The Expanded Behaviour is updated it seems. It no longer needs to be used in conjunction with UME. Simply drop the "AKaiExpandedBehaviour" folder into your ovldata folder to install it. 4? (Lost what nunber I am on lol) All mods still work absolutely fine. I made this video shortly after the final major update for the game so I knew that nothing significant would change with the installation steps. @@wondersgtagaming Hey, thanks for the clarification, unfortunately when I installed ALL suggested mods I had an issue in the in-game campaign, no dino fossils during expeditions. I'm trying to figure out what's causing this so on my new install I left out "ACSE, Expanded behaviour, Mrtroodon Modpack, L40Indominus skin, JFD Triceratop & LAS Seismosaur", and it seems this temporarily resolved the issue. Also, for Mrtroodon Modpack 02 & 03 it is indicated that I also need to install Expedition Charter & Expanded research items along with ACSE but it wasn't mentioned in the video. Now my questions are as ff:
1. So, for the "Environment Rework v2.2" installation on time stamp 8:33 after installing "Terrain Re-textures", the remaining files are not needed?
2. Which latest mod version is ideal for use in game, the "Expanded Behaviour" & "MrTroodon Modpack"?
3. Have you heard of others getting the same issues as I, with regards to no fossils on expedition and occasional crash? If so, what is causing this and is there a fix?

After adding fence mod. When I load my old saves my game get crash. Please reply bro
I’m not an expert but I believe the general rule is to start a fresh game after installing mods. Now I only know this to be true with the expanded islands mod but, I may be the cause. I hope you’ve been able to fix it in the past two weeks.

Hello buddy. Everyone I know. Even those who made a lot of these mods agree that the Vortex installer is terrible for adding mods to JWE. Hence why I show how to do it without. All mods in this video still work and so do the steps to install them shown in the video.

Hiya mate if it is a map save file. Then you need to put it in C:/users/"yourusername"/saved games/FrontierDevelopments/"longnumber"/saves. Then load your game and check your maps that you can load.

Hello there mate. No DLC needed for the better fence/invisible fences mod. I am unsure which mod you are referring to in regards to the scenarios though if you would like to add some more information.

Hiya mate. I have since come to learn that you can install mixed eras without the Return to JP DLC but you will not have the buildings from RTJP in sandbox but all of the other features will be available.

Hiya mate. Mixed eras should be available on every map. You need to select JP era on sandbox when creating a map.

Ok whenever I install ultimate mixed eras it go’s back in time to 2019 and I don’t know what to do but when I uninstall the game and reinstall it goes back to being normal I would really like answer to resolve this problem and also do you have to do return to Jurassic park first in order for it to work? @@wondersgtagaming yeah describing it like going back in time was not a good description ok so before I put ultimate mixed eras it’s 2018 - 2020 on the loading screen right but whenever I put the ultimate mixed eras mod on it goes back to 2018 - 2019 instead of 2018 - 2020 so there has to be something wrong with either my game or the mod and I do have return to Jurassic park. And the bug prevents me from playing my normal campaign but whenever I play return to Jurassic park it works normally because of the 2018 - 2019 glitch.

Yo man when i completed the mod of ultemate mixed aeras and i have the jp dlc but i cant put somthing frome jp to jw and i was on sandbox
If you are trying to put stuff from JP to JW after installing mixed eras then try loading a Sandbox in JP era and see what happens. The mod adds all the JW era buildings into JP era and not the other way around.

Hiya mate. No DLC is needed for the expanded Islands mod. You will be fine with that one. Remember that your old parks will not work with this mod and you will have to start new ones though.

Hiya there. I am going to take a guess that the version of the game that you are playing is a pirate version as I know they are usually 1.4.3. The official game is currently at 1.12 something. I am not willing to comment much further than this next statement lol. If you know where to look you may be able to find the latest version.
