Wonderfully clear and without wasted time. Thanks!

Would have been nice to show some brief examples at the very beginning. I had to fast forward to 25:00 just to try and hear what this does and then the examples were so quiet so still have little idea but the idea seems interesting if it's what I think it is but there wasn't a quick way just to hear clear examples.

Really cool concept. It’s a shame the actual audio in this video is nearly inaudible. IRCAM, I THINK I like your stuff but basically almost ALL of your videos are extremely well researched academically sound LONG essays and tutorials, with little to no attention paid to actual audible examples. Basically the only exception to this observation is the video about the Virtual Choir.
It is extremely frustrating to watch these otherwise rather brilliant videos. Why not make some additional actual demonstrations with GOOD audio? ❤

Thank you for your message: the sound in the first part of the video actually focuses on the voice to best explain all those complicated concepts.
In the last sequence of the video starting at 26:24, we listen again to all the examples one by one with a louder sound in the light of what we have just learned. I hope you will find what you are looking for in this last sequence!

@@jeromenika You are absolutely right. Thanks for pointing me to these examples. I am thoroughly impressed by Dicy2 but as witnessed by my earlier comment couldn’t quite grasp it which coloured my language a bit there. Sheer frustration was shining true, but I should have been more patient. Thank you for making these elaborate videos and also for bearing with me. Apologies if I came across as a jerk - that wasn’t my intention.
Now… one brief question remains: is there anything keeping you or IRCAM from creating a Windows version of this? I came THIS close to subscribing to the paid IRCAM Forum tier just to get my hands on this, but noticed there’s a MACOS restriction. Couldn’t you compile a WIN version, seeing this was made with Cycling ‘74 MAX / MSP?
Anyway, again - many thanks. Very inspiring and innovative approach! My compliments! Any links to some compositions / albums that were made using Dicy2?
