Bloody brilliant, I often try to follow ride vlogs, on a map. Many thanks. My Dad grew up on a farm near Eungai Cr, one of ten. I haven't been around for a while & so have Mt Yarrahapinni as a must-visit in my next trip south. So rather than just a visit to the lookout ! 👍
Petros, they're awesome mate. Here's a reply from one bloke I know who just bought the jacket and gloves. - "@bugman5337 2 minutes ago Awesome Phil 👍👍 And the Mesh Jacket and Gloves you recommended Flocking working a Treat 👌🙏🏍"
I went to primary school at Stuart’s Point ( 1975 to 1980) We had a banana plantation . The place had changed a bit in the general area. I also own a mesh jacket from them, had it for a few years, it has been great.
Cool Dazza 👍 Stuart's Point is a nice little backwater, I enjoy riding around that area. Would have been small in the 80's! The Konime jackets are pretty bloody impressive hey 👍
Oath it does, I'm never motivated to gear up when its already hot, ok when your moving but when its already sweat weather who wants to throw on full cover, in that regard I just went to kmart yesterday and bought myself a supersize white cotton tee to throw over the Astars amour for less cooking on the ride, as opposed to the polyester long sleeve style MX jersy's... I do have a ventilator jacket but even that is kinda warm during summer time..
I remember my Dad and an Uncle taking us for a trek up a creek gully on the south side of Yarrahapinni, 55 or more years ago. All I really remember is struggling through vines, moss covered rocks & fallen tree trunks. And mozzies. I like the pants, burnt/melted the inner leg of my Rev'it pants a while back while laying under the bike, silly place to lay down but shit happens. So they're definitely of interest, vented, armoured, suspenders included & of most importance to me are the cargo pockets. Sizing is a bit confusing, do I measure my waist or gut ? 🙂 PS: Catching Yabbies with your toes ? Cheers 👍
Love your work. I do the same solo camping and always looking for new places to camp preferably by a river. I live in the Taree area. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks Peter.
Hey mate good info on the gear cheers for that . Heading up to coffs over Xmas looking to get into some of those rainforests on the mt450 . Any good camp spots you can recommend us your way . Might see you on the tracks cheers
Cheers Jason 👍 Mate, I'd just go on Hipcamp and have a look around the region. There's a heaps around coffs, and some great ones in my area I've stayed at. Missabotti is a good base camp, lots of trails leading from there to The Promised Lands (Bello) and further up to Coffs way. And from there west out to Kosekia Lookout etc.

Thanks Phil
No worries, Peter 👍
I know this is a play on words, but how "cool" is that water hole!
It's was almost too cool, Doug!
I've been thinking of buying Komine ever since watching Nerb do a video on them. They seem good value for money.
Best quality and value for money riding gear I've seen 👍
Good honest review thanks Phil great video cheers 👍👍
and all sensible prices unlike the the over rated fancy brand names and just as good
I've had my mash jacket for 7 years and still love it. I got mine from ebay I think its a Viking brand and was my 1st motorcycle jacket
They're definitely good things for summer 👍

Is there anywhere that has this gear on the shelf to try on in QLD?
