    Thanks, Brandon. I have a new WF-7820 that I immediately swapped for sublimation printing ink and wow, am I having all kinds of issues with it. Appreciate you putting up this content, gives me some things to check!

    Use at your own risk!
    Did all the steps as he did it. Disabled my printer with a 031002. Trashed it completely.
    I contacted the guy doing the videos and few times.
    Luckily it’s still under warranty. Just sent them an email and then calling when they open in their time zone.
    Gotta get to rolling but cannot without a printer.

      I’m so sorry to hear about this. Yes in some instances, if there is not proper drawing or even at times, there are things that are beyond the scope of this video that can happen with the printer that would cause it to have a code. It’s just a case case basis and I’m sorry that this happened to your printer.

    It worked for us but I had to use the print head cleaning cycle to get the scale back. Hopefully that will help someone else. Right now I have cleaned it 3 times and have one small speck on the cyan that is holding me up. I am going to leave it set a while and try again. Thank you so much for your video, I was successful even though I am not real tech savvy

    Hola amigo, gracias por su video, tengo una impresora Epson wf-7820 la cual me arroja un error 0042 y a veces 0043. Tengo que resetear el equipo y funciona por algunos días, luego se repite el error. En internet, he consultado sobre este error y se aconseja hacer una limpieza de los rodillos y el sensor de papel que se encuentra ubicado sobre el costado izquierdo de la maquina, no se como destapar mi maquina para poder quitar la tapa del costado izquierdo y poder hacer la limpieza, tanto de los rodillos como del sensor. Mi impresora tiene el sistema continuo adaptado, lo cual es una gran ventaja en el gasto de tinta. Gracias por su ayuda.

    The one i have initailzed with an alignment issue, the colors are jumping and no troublshooting on the printer has helped.

    What if you are trying to squeeze the cleaner in and it's resisting? Is there a solution for that?

    I did try to clean the print head about 5 times, but I still have some black broken lines. What should I do to get rid of these black broken lines? I can't seem to fix these problems.

      Try warming up the solution.

    Do you know for this printer if there is a chip resetter yet for the ink? I turned it into a sublimation printer but didnt realize that there was no way to reset the cartridge.

    Used your product following directions on the box. Everything was great, all ink was working, felt really good about being able to save some money over a new printer. (EPSON WORKFORCE 7720) Then this afternoon, the printer stopped working and posted this error: 031006,. Internet search stated: "The 031006 is referring to a bad fuse on the main board. This is typically caused by a short across the print head ribbon connection due to ink/moisture intrusion. The fuse is labeled F301 on the board and is not user serviceable; it will require the main board be replaced." Is there anything I can do?

      The only thing left would be to have the printhead replaced.

    How frequently do you clean it ?

      Only when you are having major issues. You shouldnt have to clean the printhead in this manner often. If you keep your ink full you should be ok.

    Hello thank you in advance. My epson 7820 will not print only black and white because my pink ink is empty. I’ve tried to change setting to b&w only when selecting print but still same error.

    I bought the cleaning kit and used 2/3 of it on the Black nozzle since it wasn't printing consistently with some blank lines here and there. Did "Run print head cleaning" 15 times now and just straight up been getting blank pages ever since. Would appreciate some kind of help? Feels like this ruined my printer.

      Hey I know it can be frustrating I have had the same situation. Try it again tomorrow and run the print head cleaning as much as possible. ( Also try cleaning the other nozzles as well and replacing your ink with new ink, these are very important steps) If it still doesn’t work try again on Friday. If it still isn’t working, you may need to discard the printer.

      Run a print head cleaning. That will push the ink back into the system.

      I had to clean it 2x to get it to print. You may have to clean it several times.
