    Enjoyed this video. I need to practice this 😊. Maybe before I go to bed??? Today's been busy. 🥵 😊... I just came in from doing some gardening and am resting for a bit, gazing out my window at pale pink hollyhocks in bright sunlight... makes me itch to try out my new paper...lol.😊

      I bet, Im always so excited to get new supplies, its so exciting. This is really things you already know, but practicing correct brushstrokes over and over just makes you that much better! Oh, I keep seeing hollyhocks everywhere now, they are so beautiful. I never realized how tall they are! They are so beautiful.

I hope your well, and yes, I am always seeing things differently I know., I have my own "watercolor Language" sometimes., I think I have been painting for so long, I truly made it my own! Happy painting and most of all have fun! I will have to try brush pens some time, I believe that is what you play with~

      The compound stroke seems to always be the challenging one in my workshops for students, but once I walk them through it they get it~ Step by step :-) I go through this on my online Beginners course too. Im glad you are having fun with this! Enjoying learning will always make the learning process much more fun :-)

    Why does my brush tip separate when I end my c stroke. I get a split point.

    • @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy
      @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your brush may be a little worn out. That happens when the tip has worn out. So important to give your brush a lot of care and love . I have a tutorial on brush care. Ive had rushes for so many years even inexpensive brushes with the right care can keep that nice tip. Here are a few tips I hope they help. th-cam.com/video/kSkOUI1mlbs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Av8WEQqflSH7C9LU
      Thought 2 - is your brush may be a little too dry and you are getting a dry brush result...

    Do you stretch the artisto pads w water?

    • @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy
      @DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I dont typically stretch my paper. I never have, tried it, but for the effort and time, I didnt see the value for me. I know others that do though. I think its just preference. My Artisto pads are what I use daily because I paint so much. If I am painting to sell, I use Arches and Winsor & Newton paints.
