I am not a piano teacher but I have returned to piano playing after retiring and am playing after 45 years, this piece is in my starting Grade 5 ABRSM and I find your tutorial really excellent to help a creaky old chap back into the cycle of paying. Thank you so much for this.
@@JannaWilliamson I would love to see a tutorial on Bach's Prelude and Fugue in B flat Major, and Rachmaninoff's Prelude in G minor. I have been teaching for many years, and I love your insight. It has been very helpful to me and my students!
@@angelajacobson1890 I don’t teach a lot of Rachmaninoff, so I am not sure that a video on that particular piece will come anytime soon! I do teach that Bach regularly, however. I have considered even running a course on how to teach a student his or her first Prelude & Fugue. Stay tuned to see if that materializes! Thank you for watching. 😊
@colourful_keys Out of curiosity, what book have you used recently to teach this? I have it in one edition here in my library, but I know I've taught it out of something else, and I can't think what it is! The mystery is killing me....
Do you have other pieces in the intermediate repertoire that you'd like me to cover in a future video? Leave a comment here!
Clifford Poole’s nocturne!
Can you teach presto from ABRSM 4 grade 2022 & 2023
@@Bonniesuns_life - you'll need to clarify what that piece is. I'm not an ABRSM teacher and there are a lot of "prestos" out there!

Could you please make a video how to teach the Minuet Kv 2 from Mozart?
I’ve put this on my list of pieces to cover! Thanks for the suggestion.
Here is the video featuring that Minuet! th-cam.com/video/OyNIHUXTgFk/w-d-xo.html
I would love to hear your thoughts about Grieg’s Watchman’s Song ❤
Good idea! I should do more Grieg in general. I will put it on the list.

@@JannaWilliamson it won't help solve the mystery! It's in the 2023 selections for our local Irish exam board, RIAM.
@@ColourfulKeys I just published a video covering the Watchman's Song. I hope you find it helpful!
