  • Based in Dorset in the UK, Monkey World is the largest monkey and ape rescue centre on the planet. For nearly three decades, the team has saved countless primates - across 20 countries - from lives of cruelty, abuse, and neglect.
This safe haven is now home to more than 200 monkeys and apes. The dedicated staff never stop in their quest to save animals from being mistreated by owners, ending up in laboratories or being exploited in the entertainment industry.

I absolutely LOVE this show and at 72 I wish I could have found a place to enjoy monkeys and ships around West Michigan. Thank you for sharing these videos.

Hahaha listening to the narrator describing the chimps eating the porridge with the sticks had me laughing till I was crying. He is so very good at his job.

Just in case no one has mentioned it yet, Nueve means 9 in Spanish 😊 I can't get enough of all these monkeys and apes!

I have enjoyed each and EVERY video you've put out from season 1 up to today's video. Please keep putting more videos out! Each of your characters have become dear to my heart. My doggo and I watch them together. She is excited when I tell her we're going to watch the monkeys again today. It does my heart good to see her get excited for our "monkey time". Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these wonderful videos! Sending hugs to y'all! From Monroe, Georgia, USA.

So clever; staff and primates. The termite mound is so inventive and using their tools amazing to watch. Just incredible that your care staff willingly take on these tasks to improve the quality of life for the capuchins so they can forage. There will be lots to clean-up, obviously, but your devotion to the primates supersedes what in many zoos would never occur. Love you Monkey World, you're just phenomenal. "And the minute he sees what's out there he's in his element" - Cosmo and the Great Outdoors. Someone needs to write a book, do some photos or illustrations and sell it. I'd definitely buy it.

Little Cosmo is adorable. It's just a pity he had no mum to introduce him to and help him through the tunnel system.

His wound looks like it could be infected!!! That big lump is possibly full of nasty yuck, and would need to be lanced, to get the infection out. IMO he needs a REAL vet, that is if he's still alive!!
