Jeremy is an incredible human! When there is an issue with any of their apes, he's the first one to go inside their enclosures to help them, love them or comfort them & sometimes to just hold their hand as he says goodbye. He really doesn't think twice about it, or about his own safety, he see a friend in need & that's all he needs to see to be all in. He has such a special relationship with all of them. It's easy to see that they share a mutual love & respect. It's really been a privilege to witness those encounters, so I want to say a heartfelt thank you for taking us all along. God bless all of you at Monkey World!!! 💕💕💕

I would give anything to be able to feel each primate to see what their coats feel like. Marmosets, gibbons, and woolys look like they'd feel so luxurious. I wish i would have gone into this field of work. I'm completely envious. Thank you once again to all the carers. You're all amazing. Especially Jeremy, my favorite human primate ever. ❤
I understand the sentiment, but they also have claws and teeth and strong tearing muscles which would not be so great to feel. Alas.
@ironcauldrontarot I was thinking more like being able to feel them when they are sedated, like during a transfer. I would never want to stress them out in order to just know what they feel like. Not many people can say they know what a baby wooly or an alpha male chimpanzee feels like. They are truly so lucky to do the work they do, and I'm just completely in awe and full of envy, lol.
(I understand. It would be awesome. The wooleys look like they'd feel amazing.)
Unfortunately that luxurious monkey fur was used for jackets and coats from the 19th century to the 1940s. 😢

Oh, Gypsy. What a scare when he began waking and choking! This brought tears to my eyes. I hope there’s a solution for the little guy other than a life of pain or putting him down. There’s been so much loss lately. You guys are just so compassionate. I know these chimps are Jeremy’s buddies. You help give them a beautiful life. ❤

I'm so glad I found this channel. I think many of us got our curiosity up watching the wild groups before those horrible VOs began harming these wonderful animals. It's nice to see them safe and healthy and cared for.

I love this series. Although I love all the primates my favorites are the stumpies, woolies, and gibbons.

He didn't say it was a big deal. He was pointing out that it was indicative of a successful injection.
I think his statement about the needle is he just saying that it should look the way it did all bent up because that's a very good indication that it made it through there thick skin and made proper contact for the medication to work. They have all that fur and much thicker skin than we do. I think his wording was just off a little
