I lost my confidence in our establishment and our supposed democracy during covid.
Full confidence will only be achieved after Pierre becomes the PM.
You might like to reserve judgement until he's actually proven himself as PM. I'm all for giving him a fair chance to prove himself, but he is a career politician, after all, and he will almost certainly come to disappoint some constituencies who viewed him as a "saviour". You know, the old line about, "Will you still love me in the morning?".

So, the Opposition Leaders should sign on to keep anything they learn secret...but then, somehow deal with what they learn in a secret manner because to do otherwise would reveal some of the secret information they learned. Thus, if everything is kept secret, Canadians can be assured that the problem is being dealt with. Did Franz Kafka come up with this?
