Matrix tackle rocks!… I enjoy ure channel immensely… so helpful. Yet here in Perth Australia, I struggle to be able to access the gear. 😔 tight lines, ex pommie Dave. 🙌🙋♂️
I think you have hit the nail on the head Jamie, For the past couple of years in the winter, I put my pole fishing gear away and I get out my matrix chair and 2 small Eva bags and 2 made up feeder rods, It makes it so easy, Just set the Trap and wait, And because you're not taking the kitchen sink, And you need very little baits, You go fishing more, Why make it complicated and build barriers by taking loads of gear.
I've paused this at just less than halfway, because I need to say something. Your presenting style has changed - for the better. There are way fewer "OK?" questions coming from you after any comment or statement, and that is a reflection of you being more assured of yourself in front of the camera. It is much more re-assuring to us too that you aren't questioning yourself when it comes to how you're putting things across. I don't know if others have noticed this too, or it is somethiing you've consciously been working on, but it is a positive change and it makes the videos much more watchable for me. Had to say it.
Nice to meet you today Jamie - i ended up in peg 33 opposite the big willow and had 32 carp/F1s and 2 ide topped off by a 14 pound mirror at last knockings which i landed 5 pegs away! Most on a 9ft bomb rod down the middle and a few including the big one on a waggler set up fished close in. It fished really well in the afternoon
That is one of the best videos I have ever watched. Just brilliant. I live in Dorset so very fortunate to fish the Hampshire Avon and Dorset Stour. Sadly we don't seem to have many commercials this way. Still it wasza, fabulous, insight to feeder fishing
Fantastic video Jamie, answered plenty of questions. I'm I my bus getting back into fishing after a break of around 30 yrs, due to theft of tackle for 2nd time, my gid, has it changed. Managed to join angling club, at Ford, near to Ridgeway, which in sure you're aware of. Your vids have been a huge help, and very well presented, also, I've gained much confidence from your advice. Many thanks buddy
@CatchFishingChannel cheers buddy, one day, I'd just enjoy bringing my chair, and sitting behind you, and just watch, watch watch. May be a while though, just had a hip replacement, but, I'll try to keep track if where you will be. I'm only at Gleadless Town End, so, wherever you are, I won't need to travel too far mate.
Fantastic video Jamie as always. Very informative. May be a silly question but what size rubber stops are you using to stop the bomb on the line please.
I have started fishing again recently and dipped my toe into feeder fishing and thanks to your videos I’m starting to have some success so thank you. My question is related to the club I fish at which has three waters one of which is a “specimen” lake with minimum line of 15lb required, do I need to switch to full carp style alarms etc or can I still fish with I quiver tip and would that mean a different rod given my rods all rated to 10lb?
Oh nice! It does sound like you'll need to change but you can still fish with these methods but just with beefed-up tackle as you say as long as that fishery rules allow mate
I still do sometimes Ian but when I'm fishing like I am in this video I only need room for 2-3 baits tubs so it's just easier to use the small self supporting side tray if that makes sense mate?
Please keep the content coming Jamie, brilliant stuff. Cheers
Thanks!
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel it’s hugely appreciated! 🙏
Great informative video Jamie. And love seeing daffodils, tells you that spring is on the way.
Thank you Sean!
A great insight to tackling a venue.

Hahahaha oh thanks for this Steve mate, it wasn't a conscious thing I guess it was just because I took a bit more time filming this one mate :)

Why is bomb and pellet fishing for the winter months ..Would it also be ok for the summer . I like the idea of this sort of fishing
Oh yes Peter it can be just as good in summer too!

Jamie. Noted you no longer use the rigid tray when fishing. Any reason?
