Hi Jamie, what a great video on simple feeder fishing tactics. No long range fishing which it seems everybody thinks is how to the feeder must be fished, no multiple rod set ups, just a dead simple way of fishing. No huge bait bill either just a few maggots, pinkies, pellets and a bit of grounbaits. Regretably cancer has put a stop to my fishing but getting great pleasure from watching your video 's Regards Bill

Oh Bill I hate to pry but I did wonder why you hadn't posted any videos for a while. It's really nice to see your subs still increasing well though mate, it's about this time last year when I first noticed your channel. I really hope you're fit and well and back on the bank soon mate, I know lots of people love your videos as you just share the love of fishing and being on the bank. Keep safe mate and we'll hopefully see you on the bank soon mate :)

@@CatchFishingChannel Hi Jamie, thank you for the lovely msg, its much appreciated. My regret is that i will not be able to shoot all the video's that i had planned and am missing fishing so much, but i'm still hoping to get out a few more times before i get too ill. So please keep your excellent video's coming and while i know you are a match angler how about shooting a video about ledgering on small rivers in search of roach and chub etc, maybe fishing the link. Kindest regards Bill

Great video Jamie, it’s nice to hear your explanation of swim rotation and the importance of waiting to try the positive fed swim, like you I feared the worst when you bumped a fish because of the dreaded pinkie hook masking trick, that was a great comeback 👍👍👍

i won a match in the same peg just below the weer at spotbourgh about 15 years ago with 16 pound plus and had the same problem with snags. i had to fish in the fast flow . i lost no end of bottems .this was when the sheffild arms was open and i used to be a member o fthere club

Yep, More like this is needed, and the buyers guide with pellets. Hopefully more buyers guides with groundbait. No that I want too much Jamie
This was good actually, kept things easy to follow, simple to tie rigs, and giving the urge to wrap up warm and get out there.
Thanks once again for bringing fishing to our screens.TTFN

Jamie,, Always brilliant vids mate ... looking for some advice, am after some HEAVY feeders all descriptions. Do Matrix have a good range of these,?? Am fishing rivers and some particle type feeders...maggot caster hemp etc and some side or base weighted jobs.. Need to be 75gms and heavier pal, also straight leads same weight.. Tight Lines mate Regards IAN

Oh thanks mate! I love these on faster rivers mate www.fishmatrix.co.uk/home/product/open-end-feeders?c=feeders-leads but as they only go up to 60g I just add sticky weights to the inside of them until I get the required weight if that makes sense mate?
