I think I have seen most of your videos and I think your doing a fantastic job!! I wonder if your going to do experimental videos with diffrent colomnpackings(Rachig, Spp, scrubbers...) for comparison. Greetings from Sweden
Hi George, thats great how you can transfer wine using a vacuum cleaner. Would transferring wine using a vacuum cleaner remove co2 as well and if yes, then would it be the same amount as using your vacuum pump?
Hi, its been a while since I have come to you with a question, but this video about racking with a home vacuum. I notice you use what looks like a white colored plastic hard hose/water line. Where to get this ? What size?
Hey are you using a #6.5 bung? Did you drill to holes yourself to fit your tubing in? I can only find single hole bungs myself. If you drilled it yourself what size tubing are you using? Great video on how to just left me with some questions.
hi . i use to run an evaporator on board a naval ship, i made drinking water and boiler water from salt water, our evaps would boil sea water at 78 degree with 29 inches of vacuum. was a flash type , i think i still have my training manuals on how it works and how to run it. ill have to search it.
Mad at myself I didnt think of that, great idea! My syphon SUCKS and I know theyr all gonna be the same:/ and then an oldschool syphon is even worse lol. But vaccum tek, THERE we go!
I move around quite a bit. Not really, Ray runs the store so I am mostly around the house so I use the man-cave and the shed as my lab for most things. George
Great video George you're just a vast wealth of knowledge I look forward to each and every one of your videos
Great videos lads. Just started at 64 to try making wine (with our home grown grapes). You instruction is Spot on.
Honestly had not thought of doing it like this! Cheers 😀
Another great video. Very clear and concise, as usual. Keep them coming.
George you always do a good job. I use my vacuum sealer. Thank you.

Outstanding My Good Man!
Hey George, you mentioned the vacuum pump could boil water. Could this be another way of vaporizing ethanol?
Yes but it is a little complicated. It does work very well and I've been working on it and plan to do a video very soon on vacuum distillation.
George

+paul sons that would be an excellent source. Hope you find them and share.
I thought you were going to go into vacuum distillations. lol been doing that for a few years now. good vid nun the less as always.
I've been vacuum distilling and working on a few vids for that too.
I do that mostly with stripping runs. I can get it up to azeotropic level. (AKA) 95% ABV or 190-proof.
Mad at myself I didnt think of that, great idea! My syphon SUCKS and I know theyr all gonna be the same:/ and then an oldschool syphon is even worse lol. But vaccum tek, THERE we go!
How did u build transfer thingy using using a shop vac to separate the liquids

Why are you not in the lab these days? From the videos I've seen you are in your garage, home kitchen or outside. What's up???????
