Some people giggle out of shock of the situation. Or nervousness for how bad something is.
Bravo to the Duck Couple! I know how they feel on two levels. My first injured save was a domestic duck that was bullied and injured by Mallards. They had pecked a hole in the domestics foot. I was four and the duck was almost as big as I was. This lead to a lifetime of saving orphans and injured wildlife. I am very disabled right now and looking for a way to still participate in healing the world of its ills and greed that affect the flora and fauna of such an amazing place we call home.
Thank you to everyone who cares about wildlife and the flora they and we need for this life we all live to continue.
My first thought was how incredibly dangerous what they did was. Luckily, no one was hurt, but they could have caused multiple accidents. I am glad everyone was OK in the end, but yikes.
If they could get mom across the road after they caught the babies, the couple could have taken the babies to her. Momma ducks are like humans. And momma didn't leave them to fend for themselves. She was doing what she does, they were supposed to follow and got scared, then the momma flew over the other side to get away from the people chasing htem.

Love these lil ones. They are SO lucky to have this warm barn, treats & water. I've been rehabbing Opossums since 1992. It's truly a labor of love ❤
Boris Look like so young... All his life is miracle. First was when he was just a tiny baby and some one came In his life and say this baby will stay. He should live his life as it meant to be.
Now he is young man and other ppl decide offer to him very difficult and very costly operation and now we can believe In his future.
Baby is very handsome boy. He can love and be loved... This girl is best possible mom to him and they are so happy together. Im happy now. ❤ Andrew.... I LOVE YOU❣⚘ Thank you so much for helping that gorgeous boy‼️

If my dog had a massive lump hanging from his leg like that I definitely would not have waited a whole year before taking him to get examined by a vet. I would worry about cancer so much.
It's possible a question about money. We all know that a vet bill can tilt a budget, but most vets accept a monthly pay here in Denmark

The momma duck didn't abandon her ducklings! She was watching them from above (like all bird moms). But when the ducklings were taken away and she lost track of them, then she didn't have a choice than to abandon them. 😢 Poor momma duck! 💔

When the wildlife guy says: 19 babies, she can't count. I don't believe that. Duck know how many babies they have. when they walk and their babies follow, they always make sure they are all accounted for.

Probably would have been a good idea. Soft fatty tumors (lipomas) are rarely cancerous. I certainly would have taken him earlier as well, but at least there’s that.

I'm No Doctor or Vet. But w the Dog w the long hanging ball/fluid/mass at the end of it. If it is a Major arteries would it not make sense to sew itat the top of the base & then cut it & again sew it shut aftr the cut. I believe e the Initial sew it would stop it from bleeding & then the 2nd cut & sew would close it all together??

IF year around use of flea and tick meds (ie revolution or symparica) will prevent tick paralysis.. why do they not use it? Responsible pet parents would use flea and tick meds to prevent the tick that causes the paralysis. And yes, I do use Revolution Flea and Tick to prevent fleas in both of my meows (cats)..

I do wonder why you wouldn’t just extract the canine from that tiger rather than do a root canal? Seems far less risky.
the tiger gets to keep the tooth this way. its also much less invasive and doesnt require stitches or a gaping hole to be made in its skull
