Love how the guy at 15:35 seems to think the green whistle is a vape and offers to share it. Even with a dislocated shoulder, he's generous with the 'spliff' !
That's the Canadian coming out I think😂. And I am surprised that he didn't try to learn surfing back home. We have some surfing spots over on the east side of Vancouver Island, B.C. Then again, nothing can probably beat surfing on a famous beach
A little tip always take a picture of your kids with your phone when your doing a family outing. That way you have an updated picture with the current clothes they are wearing for a day at the beach or at an amusement park. I used to do this all the time. Thankfully I never needed to use the pictures but I’m glad I took them.

If my husband hurt himself to where he needed a neck brace I’d feel so scared and thankful he wasn’t paralyzed. I hope he’s able to see that he’s being emotionally abused and leave.
To be fair, you don’t know those people or their history and circumstances. They’re not you and your husband, and you can’t brand someone an emotional abuser on the basis of a few sentences
@@Anita67x We don't know the full background, but from the snippets that we got, that woman's behaviour in response to an injury was unacceptable and can be perceived as emotionally abusive, especially in front of the man's kids. Not to mention, the way she spoke to the workers who were trying to help the family, was not respectful. I empathize with the man.

Living in Scotland and by the coast, water safety is drilled into you every year by the RNLI and fire and rescue services. It’s insane how many local people don’t know about the dangers of the water they live by (then there’s the holiday makers). It’s great work you do and it’s great to see you and people like you get the recognition you deserve👍🏴.
Yeah I live in Ireland and in primary school we had people come in every year and talk to us about water safety it’s actually mental to me that people go in who can barely swim
I grew up in San Francisco and before you could graduate from High School you had to pass a swim test!! Two laps in the pool but some couldn’t do that! I had no issue as my parents sent me to swim lessons from when I was about 7 years old. You live by the beach your need to learn to swim!
I grew up in Den Haag, The Netherlands, close to the beache. The first thing my father thought us about the riffs in the sea and what the sea does. We also learned that the sea is not for swimming. We could play in the water, but the water was not until the waist.
I keep seeing these people who don’t know anything about the sea, the tides, the sandbanks, and don’t bother educate themselves, people that can not - I repeat - not swim, and think it’s a good idea to go into the sea and just ‘have fun’. Then expect a lifeguard to put his/her life in danger to rescue them, or expect Bondi Beach to use a lot of money for a rescue. I don’t get it… 😅😮😢
Canadian here. Born on the west coast but raised inland. Still taught how to spot a rip, how to float, how to get out of a rip, how to not hit my head when surfacing (better broken hand than broken skull was drilled into my head and I now put my hand up instinctively when surfacing, even in pools) and other things such as respect the power of the ocean. Really ticks me off that people don't know the danger at all. I fully admit that I may not be the most knowledgeable about it but even I know better than to underestimate the ocean.
Another Canadian here ontario side but did list of travelling as a kid and teen with my parents who thought me the same stuff how to spot a riff, how to keep my head above water, I was also a competitive swimmer till I was 16 in open water, my mom had been a life guard and she made sure that we respected any type of open water. Would LOVE for them to put more recent seasons of Bondi Beach here on TH-cam. I don't think that I've seen any episodes past season 6. LOVE watching this program. What these guys do, wow.
They did a thing last year where they uploaded a season each week in a livestream and it stayed up for a bit before it got deleted. So maybe they're doing that now. Not ideal if the seasons aren't up permanently it not great but it's something
Bondi has always been my favourite tv show by far. It’s so entertaining and educational and it’s so incredible to see how well you care for the community. ❤
I grew up in Florida. Fifty plus years. We went to the beach in groups. Big blanket, towels & umbrella & a cooler of cold drinks. NOBODY left the blanket untended. I don't get how people leave all their belongings unguarded with such crowded beaches!

Sorry but this beach looks horrendous….soooo many people 😮. Not my idea of a good time. Glad you guys are there doing a awesome job of keeping people safe 🙏🏼. Thank you
Bondi when u get there is not full of people. In series one you see there are less people because they didn’t know they’d be on the Tv. So now it should be how it was in series one. A lot of people but not to many
I will mention that australia has over 30,000 beaches it just so happens this one is close to the biggest urbam centres and one of the safest due to the life guard service 🫡
I felt so badly for the poor man who got hurt while on vacation. He has to has the most vile, heartless wife on the face of the earth! He looked so pitiful when she blamed him for ruining their vacation by getting injured! Like the ocean hitting him was his fault! Prayers for a happy ending for that sweet man. ❤🙏
If you can, watch the training videos these watermen & women go through to save lives. Now they have to deal with creeps too. So glad the cops are nearby. They earn every cent, which isn’t much. But they take this very seriously. I’m so impressed. Australia has water all around it & Bondi has a dangerous rip.
27:52 What a vile creature! If my husband had a potential spinal injury on holiday, I would be thinking about things to do with the kids to ensure they aren't affected but _after_ knowing how he is, not yelling at a man! Like, you are on *holiday* it's not like he has a mental map of the sea floor at Bondi already programmed in like a robot. Jesus she makes me mad. I hope all her friends and family see just how horribly she treats her partner.
She makes you mad, because you only have one side of the story. She said this happens constantly with him, even back home in Canada ("we always get to go with him in the ambulance"), his kid rolling her eyes at her dad yet again being injured and needing attention.. He's either a very unhappy husband with a horrible family, or he's exactly like my mum, a manipulative narcissist who CRAVES attention, and will do anything to get it, faking illnesses constantly, in and out of hospital without them ever finding anything, because there isn't anything to f'ing find.
I saw another comment that mentioned addiction to pain meds. A lot of times people who are addicted trying to get meds on holiday will fake an injury. She said for the last 2 years she’s been dealing with it. Sounds like addiction. It also could be attention seeking behavior. Idk strange behavior from both of them. The woman did sound at her wits end saying this happens all the time. Or maybe she’s abusing the man and he’s calling out for help. He did look sickly thin and down trodden abuse stress and addiction can do that to you’re body. Regardless of their problems I feel worst for the kids seeing that it’s mentally damaging them
I live in Oklahoma City Oklahoma in the United States of America, and I just want to say I love Bondi rescue. Some of these encounters are hilarious and some of these encounters. I’m just glad that you guys are out there on the beach.

Working at an inland marina on a lake I did one rescue and that is the first thing I did research shoving me underwater. I had a jacket on, and I had a jacket for the person struggling in the water immediately shove you underwater but you guys here is awesome. The guy with dislocated shoulder and inhaling those painkillers when he kept telling the guy to do it lol it was like he was saying talk dirty to me lmfao 😂
1:22:30 I feel so much for this kid. I grew up in poverty, and it’s the most painful feeling when your parents do everything they can to make your dreams possible, only for something to get in the way. For me it was professional rock climbing, I had won state championships 3 years in a row from 5-8 years old. I was signed up for a national championship at 10, it was across the country and was thousands of dollars. Two weeks before we were set to fly, I ended up hospitalized and my health severely deteriorated due to my connective tissue disorder. I ended up becoming a wheelchair user from nerve damage and other issues. Losing out on a dream you’re trying so hard to achieve, especially when your family gives up and struggles so much to get you there, is the worst feeling in the world.
We can't even begin to imagine the strength it takes to navigate such heartbreaking challenges. Your story is a testament to resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Despite the setbacks, your journey is incredibly inspiring. Wishing you continued strength and courage as you navigate life's ups and downs. 🙏❤

I totally respect the water, and I whenever in ocean or sea (or even lake/river), I always keep an eye on the lifeguards in case they notice something and tell you to get out. They have a good overview while you have short view. You can't see the forest for the trees.

Would LOVE for them to put more recent seasons of Bondi Beach here on TH-cam. I don't think that I've seen any episodes past season 6.
LOVE watching this program. What these guys do, wow.
If u have a vpn and paramount plus season 16 is on there
They did a thing last year where they uploaded a season each week in a livestream and it stayed up for a bit before it got deleted. So maybe they're doing that now. Not ideal if the seasons aren't up permanently it not great but it's something
I’ve grew up watching Bondi Rescue. Being a lifeguard is now my dream job 🎉🎉
Bondi has always been my favourite tv show by far. It’s so entertaining and educational and it’s so incredible to see how well you care for the community. ❤
18:30 “ I don’t wear thongs. Thongs are for women.” That’s how I feel living in the US. Why do Australians call them that?!? 😂😂
Exactly I got confused about that at first
They were called things when I was a young kid in utah. Late 90's is when they started calling them flip flops.
I’m an Aussie and love my thongs in summer.
Ok , we call flip flops thongs but why do
Americans call g-strings thongs?
a g string only has a little triangle and string but a thong is thicker in width the whole way round😭
and in canada we call those sandals or flip flops🤣
I grew up in Florida. Fifty plus years. We went to the beach in groups. Big blanket, towels & umbrella & a cooler of cold drinks. NOBODY left the blanket untended.
I don't get how people leave all their belongings unguarded with such crowded beaches!
Love your comment. That was so sensible, what a good idea
I love Bondi Rescue too. Who is your favourite lifegaurd? Mine is Harries and Harrison ❤
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧
That's the US for you. Common practice where I live in Canada to leave your things on the beach and not worry about them.
And thier children .
@@BrianKitching-wv5nhI was trying to think of who my favorites are, but I love them all! Each one has their own cool thing. Kerrbox can MOVE when he needs to, Mouse I just want to put in my pocket and keep him around. Harrison and Harries are so good at flipping their emotions when needed. They all have great attributes!!
Greetings from Idaho... uS
@@tigrlilyluv4u Thanks for replying. GREETINGS FROM HULL,EAST YORKSHIRE IN THE UK
These guys have saved so many lives.risking their own they are amazing they don’t get enough credit than they deserve.
In all honesty, first responders in general don't get enough credit.
Now i am addicted to this program :)
18:35 dislocated and discombobulated 😂
I need new episodes, I have already binge-watched all these older episodes during lockdown last year lol
We are currently working hard to bring the new season 17 to TH-cam!
@@BondiRescue What about seasons 7 - 16? Please load those on TH-cam!!🤩🤩
That last rescue was intense!
Amazing effort and result
It was definitely a heart-dropping one 🥺
I love this series/programme❤ definitely one of my favourites
Samee😂❤❤
Woo! Do you have a favourite clip?
@@BondiRescue I love all of the clips
Sorry but this beach looks horrendous….soooo many people 😮. Not my idea of a good time. Glad you guys are there doing a awesome job of keeping people safe 🙏🏼. Thank you
Bondi when u get there is not full of people. In series one you see there are less people because they didn’t know they’d be on the Tv. So now it should be how it was in series one. A lot of people but not to many
Agree so many better gorgeous beaches anywhere with not every inch covered. The UK has many.
I will mention that australia has over 30,000 beaches it just so happens this one is close to the biggest urbam centres and one of the safest due to the life guard service 🫡
These guys do a fantastic job. True life heroes.
I agree with your comment. Who is your favourite lifegaurds?Mine are Harries and Harrison
These lifeguards are the most patient people on earth.
56:44 little did he know a few years later, he'd be a literal fireman
@re90652 I am being "that guy" but every continent has water all around it 😊I know I know..
Regardless of their problems I feel worst for the kids seeing that it’s mentally damaging them
These Bondi-guards are beasts! Wow!
Trevor fell in love 🥰 jake saved his life
I live in Oklahoma City Oklahoma in the United States of America, and I just want to say I love Bondi rescue. Some of these encounters are hilarious and some of these encounters. I’m just glad that you guys are out there on the beach.
Wow a fan from the States! Thank you for your kind words 🥺🙌
@@BondiRescue you guys are awesomeness love you guys.
Nobody from America calls it THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, lol.
@@ruthie8785 I said it that way, because some people might not know I was just trying to be respectful and give people an idea of where I’m located on the globe
I love the excitement after catching thieves. Glad the women got their stuff back.
"carries on like a pork chop"! I love it; I don't understand it but I love it!
yay! Thank you for posting! season 7 next please! I can't find it anywhere. Obsessed with this show. Who needs Baywatch when you have the real thing?
We will do our best to get more of season 7 out!! Stay tuned 😁
I agree.Who are your favourite lifegaurds?Mine are Harries and Harrison.
That second Santa looked like the real deal😂
😳 You mean he wasn’t 😂
Ya gotta love H’s reaction to catching thieves 😂❤
I agree.H was an awesome lifegaurd.

We love back to back eps! You've just made our week😄🎉
Not sure how I’ve only just come across this program in 2024. Now i’ve binge watched the last 3 days, and will continue to do so 🤣🏄♀️
Maxy is my FAVORITE! Love u Maxy!
28:01 first time I’ve ever heard the term ‘carry on like a pork chop’ ! I have to put that to use now! The paramedic was a riot too
I’ve been sidelined by a shoulder injury, this will hold me over nicely until I can start my lifeguard training.
Absolutely love this show - and only just discovered it
Oh no. We're so sorry to hear about your shoulder injury. We're wishing you a speedy recovery! ❤️
@@BondiRescue thank you! ❤️
It’s gotten so much better, not long, and I’ll be back in the water!
Hope your lifegaurd training is going to plan, good luck with it all.Who is your favourite lifegaurd on Bondi Rescue?
Mine is Harries and Harrison but they are all great.
i love this show so much, i watch it down the shore to get pumped up for the waves
I want to come to bondi just so I can meet these wonderful and heroic individuals
I love the show and I hope one day I can make it to bondi and meet them
Love the comment.Hope you get to Bondi.Who is your favourite lifegaurds?Mine are Harries and Harrison.
1:23:16 what a well raised young athlete!! At 14 he shows more integrity than many adults. He’s so upset at the thought that he might have wasted his parents money by getting hurt that you can really tell that he deeply appreciated the opportunities that he was given.
Glad to see Kyle back on Bondi Rescue teaching the Bondi boys how it’s done Hawaiian style! Good on the Bondi boys for taking on the Pipe! 🌊🏄♂️
I can’t imagine being a lifeguard too stressful and overwelming ❤❤❤
It definitely takes a special kind of person to take on the job! 🙏
As a lifeguard myself I know what these guys go through on a day to day basis the stress has almost broken me
Good job mates keep it up
To all the life guards on bondi keep up the good work from Scotland you all do a great job
Lifeguards never get the attention they need they rescue so many lifes
Love back-to-back full eps🤘Season 6 is also one of our favourites!
Working at an inland marina on a lake I did one rescue and that is the first thing I did research shoving me underwater. I had a jacket on, and I had a jacket for the person struggling in the water immediately shove you underwater but you guys here is awesome. People probably shouldn’t wait out very deep in Bondi beach.
How chivalrous of the first guy to use his girlfriend as a sand bar. I mean absolutely no recognition or regret in front of the camera.
When your drowning your not thinking your in a panic it’s common for that to happen.
@@abbiepotter9453I mean I know your brain just goes into a panic to just simply to survive but even though that’s a normal reaction. I’d still feel bad afterwards and still would feel bad and want to say sorry. At least that much.
'Thanks for ruining my day at the beach, Robert' best line ever!
I have been watching Bondi rescue so long that I love speaking Australian
I live in Sydney about 20 mins from Bondi Beach I went there twice and I loved it and I knew all of the rules and now I know even better because of this show! I’ve also been inspired to become a lifeguard when I go to flight school so I have a good job before I become a pilot
That wife 😂
Poor dad
Poor kids too! I feel bad for them because they’re worried about their dad but the moms making it about her and adding stress to the situation 😭😭
I think it's quite funny. They blur out the blood, but do a slow motion replay of an arm break.
as a canadian, i empathized with the guy getting confuse about the thongs. he probably didn't know that they call flip-flops "thongs" there so he was like "whyare these buff lifegaurds trying to get me to wear sexy underwear?"
Absolutely love the Santa skit! Truly awesome.
The guy with dislocated shoulder and inhaling those painkillers when he kept telling the guy to do it lol it was like he was saying talk dirty to me lmfao 😂
He called crazy Karen a pork chop! 😂😂😂. That’s something I say 😂❤
Love seeing Kyle again!!
49:56 “mate come with us” in the calmest possible voice as he hauls him away by the collar has to be the funniest and hottest thing I’ve seen in quite sometime
47:24-😂"Dial a dump" I'm sorry but in the UK this means something else!😂

This was in 2011....I would love a where are they now of all the lifeguards.
What is the green whistle? We have nothing like it in the USA. That definitely would help getting a patient from A to B much more comfortably 😂 ❤
It's an analgesic gas.Who is your favourite lifegaurd, mine is Harries and Harrison. Greetings from the UK.
Methoxyflurane gas. See the Wikipedia page for details.
My last rescue was a little girl Noah's age. I've never forgotten Alyssa.

Love that french girl that said she couldn't speak french
I totally respect the water, and I whenever in ocean or sea (or even lake/river), I always keep an eye on the lifeguards in case they notice something and tell you to get out. They have a good overview while you have short view.
You can't see the forest for the trees.
8:05
Trevor: "I think you saved a life"
Jake: “Yeah mate, Thank you”
Trevor: “No Jake, (dramatically pausing for effect)-YOU SAVED A LIFE!"
I cannot stop laughing, he was so dramatic there it felt like a Bold and Beautiful episode.
The guy trying to puff, puff, pass with the green whistle 😂
and them calling him the black cloud is manifesting it to happen more frequently😭
I know , I felt so bad when they kept blaming the bad events on Mouse, like poor guy😭😭
We love you kobi!!!
