How much does just replacing the brake pads improve the feel of the brakes ? Does it need something more like brake lines or a different type of oil in the brake reservoir?
Only did the pads, no new lines or fluid, my bike only had like 900 miles on it when I did them. After breaking them in, they are significantly better and well worth the $70 👌
I think wrong choice of pads unless you're doing track runs. Ceramics stop as well or better without destroying the rotors.. IMO for heat the big payoff is with racing fluid, that stops fading. Blessings of the Populist State upon you.
Thank you for the video! Do you know if the same exact pads go on the rear brake? I've seen some sites showing a completely different type of pad shape. Thank you to anyone who can help.
Nice video man, same bike! Where are you located? Also how are you liking the pads? Thinking this may be a great upgrade especially since I ride the track. Check out some of my R3 videos if you'd like!
Straight forward, no bs, and easy to understand for someone who's not mechanically inclined like myself. Awesome vid thanks for this!
Thanks!
man I want to give you 2 thumbs up. every video you uploaded helped me alot.
Awesome, definitely doing this soon. Seems straight forward.
Can easily be done in an afternoon!

:32 Unbolting those 2 screw is bull... Yamaha could have use normal bolts
How do these feel now that you have them in for some time now?

Great video, thanks for posting. Putting on soon. Couldn’t find any break-in procedure for these pads, what did you do?
I just did the general break pad break-in steps, here's a good resource:

May I ask how to adjust the tightness of the brake pads?
How do you break in the brakes? Just so I'm aware. Just gentle riding for a while?
Are you supposed to grease the pins during assembly?
Yeah if it’s got some miles/time on it. My bike was almost brand new when I did this.

hey can we install an abs to yamaha r3 2015?? (non abs?)
I don’t have a torque wrench, how much should I tighten those screws?
Please please buy or rent one, you don't want to guess and make a mistake on a key safety part of your bike.
We must use locktite ? Or no need it
You could probably use the lower strength one, consult your manual though for accuracy, I’m just a random guy on the internet.
Aren't they T55?

I’m in Austin. I kinda got used to them after a bit but definitely noticed the change after the pads were broken in.
My rear brake is useless

Be carefull, using agressive brake pads will quickly eat your brake rotor - which is very costly part.
