Pal’s and Purple Cow best food in TN and VA yes there is a couple Pals in VA and Purple Cow use to be in Weber City VA. Their fried pickles are the best. I moved up to northern VA but I still got family in that area and ALWAYS make it a point to get Pals and Purple Cow shit even McDonald’s biscuits and gravy because up here McDonald’s doesn’t have biscuits and gravy 😢

I love LJS. I get the chicken, douse it it malted vinegar, dip in ketchup and the crispies. Yum. Only have it like once a year though. It was a much bigger thing when I was little. I remember going with my dad to pick up dinner for Friday night and the line was all the way to the door.
Pals is a great fast food stop. I hit it everytime I am near Johnson City [not often since I only go that way to dive in a quarry], but as far as fast food restaurants go, its one of the best ones out there.
