I rewatched, and I don't think he was quite at the level of hostile about it. He was slightly aggressive but not out of frame. Their handling of it was fine too. Immediately offered to blur him, then cut the camera off when he requested.
It’s a public road he can record if he wants doesn’t matter what the guy think of didn’t want to be recorded he can simply stfu and walk away like a normal human

The fact that at 18:43 you wanted us to go to their yelp and bash them on there just because of the way you were treated cause the worker did not want to be recorded is honestly mean of you guys like come on! I’ve been watching your videos since you first started the food reviews Brennen and this is probably the most entitled I’ve seen you guys! Not everyone wants a camera in their face especially while on the job! You don’t know if they are having a bad day or going through something personally like have some respect and at least ask them first if they are okay with being recorded before and don’t get so upset just because they didn’t want to be recorded..be better guys
very rarely are people having a bad day who are against camera theyre trying to find a reason to get mad at you thats exactly what it looks like that employee was doing
I thought the women at the lunch stop bar was mad chill. You could tell as she walked up she wasn’t keen on being on camera but she was a smart ass in a fun cool way. I thought a $10 tip was a little light considering she seemed to be the waitress, cook and probably bartender as well.
I have made the comment before and pay attention when I can see what they tip and I always think it's super low considering this is their content. You make money by them serving you. Ve a little more generous
I think next time you should ask the restaurants if it’s okay to film…some people aren’t comfortable having their faces on camera. No need to be rude just respect an individual’s boundaries.
@@taaminh sure, but it’s legal even if someone doesn’t like it. So my logic is lawful and protected under the constitution. Can’t go getting all mad at someone for doing something that’s allowed. That’s like yelling at someone for looking at them.

Sayin' it fully with respect, you guys need to remember where you came from. The egos are gettin' too inflated. Respect others. Respect workers. Don't ever assume. Yall HAVE to understand that not everyone lives with a camera recording themselves every day. If someone asks u not to film them u should at least be respectful and not film them. There are plenty of food reviewers that don’t show the employees. It wouldn’t even have taken away from ur video.

Claiming the last restaurant made you feel sick is a lot more serious than you think. Employees tampering with food is illegal and could lead to serious reprimands or jail time for the employee. That stuff is no joke and shouldn't be used as a way to shade.
this is exactly what I was thinking. Like they could not feel well from literally any of the food they ingested especially that pizza since they’re lactose intolerant.

There was nothing wrong with him stating he didn’t want to be recorded. I believe you guys need to do a better job on that part & be more understanding about it, truthfully.
So what happened was: Guy didnt want to be recorded (I didnt notice him being rude all I saw was him being assertive) so then you put him and his place of work on blast even leaving an impression that you would have your followers call and complain (or whatever followers do). @erinomariba6930 I was hoping and praying that's not what it was. I was feeling that too. I even told my boyfriend I didn't like how they've been acting in these videos lately. I thought it was was a sort of classisum. Mainly because they are from LA and they just moved to the south. I'm from Mississippi and I've been in Atlanta for 13 years. I notice that people from New York and LA or Philly look down their noses at southern people. So figured they just thought they are better than southerners. But that monkey comment is extremely uncalled for and it's racist. I'm very disappointed 😞 I've been watching too long. I'd hate to be supporting someone who might not like people of color.

I agree, this invasion of content creators milking "content" off "Real workers" is sort of becoming really unbarable. Would you like to have some dumb ass brain dead "Influincer" Who is making more money that you could ever dream off make even more money off filming you shoveling poop (or worse being homeless) and boradcast it all over the internet? if i had someone filming me on my lowest point in life, i'd not be happy about it but i don't have the courage to "confront".
@KILLZEM9 they're out in public, but they're on private property. Vloggers need to be respectful when rolling up in other people's place of business or jobs. Theyre not entitled to bust their camera out and start recording. If they're in a supposed sketch area, the first thing they should think about is how suspicious they come off, pulling out a cam without even having a conversation. B & Jake can choose where they "work" but the folks behind the counter, that's their livelihood. They didn't sign up to be animals in a zoo.

All he said was that he didn't wanna be recorded. We understand y'all doing a food review, y'all have to learn how to RESPECT people's boundaries, instead of going back & forth with them.

As a longtime fan, it's disheartening to notice a shift in your representation lately. Your recent content seems to criticize family-owned businesses without considering the impact on people's livelihoods. As Mexican Americans, your platform carries influence, and it's important to remember the significance of the businesses you critique, especially restaurants that support families. I hoped your move from LA to Nashville would bring humility, but unfortunately, it appears to have intensified a lack thereof. I urge you to consider the consequences of your actions and use your platform positively to support these vital establishments rather than inadvertently causing harm.
First of all, you got ChatGPT to write that for you. Secondly, I'd rather have honest reviews than go and waste my own money. If you can't take cold heart truths then perhaps stay away from the internet.

At least give back; if their food is banging, leave a $1000 tip so they can keep their lights on for another month. Leaving in confrontations that you instigated shows a lack of self-awareness and maturity. You put out good vids but a bunch of these lately just leave a bad taste in my mouth...so to speak.
Just be respectful of people who don't want to be recorded. It isn't going to hurt your videos to edit them in such a way that is respectful to those around you. Voice overs is totally a thing and not a cop out.
I thought the whole point of this series was to not judge a book by its cover yet you guys clearly were doing that in this video. Just because someone was weirded out by you guys recording doesn't mean they would spit in your food. You guys were even hesitant to be honest and say that the food was good because you were worried they somehow concocted a spit infused chicken wing sauce. Not to mention how incredibly reckless and unprofessional it is to encourage your fans into making negative yelp reviews on a resturant that both of you said tasted good anyway. It wasn't bad service, you 2 are just extremely entitled and lost track of your own message that you were trying to spread with these videos.

I can honestly understand where the guy in the drive through of the last spot is coming from. I hate being on camera, even if my friends are the ones filming, and let's be honest, he doesn't know you guys. That probably put him in a very weird state of mind. He was stern, not rude, and I feel that. I just discovered your channel tonight and have binged like 6-8 vids in a row and have loved them all so far, but this one is putting me off a bit and making me not want to watch more.. That bit at 18:36 into the video where you're slyly calling on your viewers to Yelp bomb the restaurant because a worker didn't want to be on camera was a bit of a dick move to put it mildly. Unless there was more that was not caught on camera, then I would completely understand, but judging from other comments I read of what happened at the beginning of the video that was edited out, I highly doubt that. Kinda reeks of entitlement. I find your videos entertaining enough, but if you continue with this entitlement kind of a mindset, will gladly move elsewhere to be honest. Just very disappointing to abruptly come to the behavior in this video, because I was loving your vids.
Your vids are always entertaining but you got to remember that 99% of people don’t go throughout their day with someone pointing a camera at them. The guy at Mr. Burger was just telling you he didn’t want to be on camera. I know you are in public, but at the same time respecting people’s requests, especially those who are making your food, isn’t a bad thing. You won’t find that 100% of people want to be on camera. Extremely disgusting with the arrogance and level of entitlement. The employee had every right to say he didn’t want to be recorded and you should have respected that. He didn’t give you attitude nor was he ever hostile. He was assertive after being ignored and mocked on several occasions when he asked you to not record. You kept pushing the issue so he had every right to be upset when he ASKED you to stop recording on at least 4 occasions. Apologies that he’s not used to jumping on camera crying when cowboy died for views and content (cough cough). Rule #1 when dealing with real people not people in LA is that we see people recording on their phone as suspect because generally people recording because they are mad about something or trying to get someone in trouble
I think the morale of the story is just ask people before you film them. It only takes a minute and you can edit it out. I wouldnt just be expecting people to be okay with it off the bat! Plus not doing it is a major data protection issue.

Thank you. You're spot on.
Yall gotta realize some people dont want to be recorded he not wrong at all he wasnt yellin at yall or being disrespectful he just asked yall not to record him yall could have easily just turnt it off instead of saying we blur you out yall dont know what people going through whats going through they head fr
16:50 You two are just being plain disrespectful. If someone doesn't want to be on camera then don't film them, and that "blurring" attempt is pathetic. You can easily see the face... That's a dislike and an unsub from me.
Low key crushing on patty. ❤
Yeah, sometimes you gotta remember is there are people in protective custody owho get moved around city to city and once you spot them in a camera and who ever they’re hiding from see it. Also could have enemies and once they see you they know exactly were to go
I can honestly understand where the guy in the drive through of the last spot is coming from.
So you’re telling me homegirl was the server, the cook AND the bartender? 😮💨😂
Ain't nobody want that weak ssa merch😂😂
Buddy is like, “ Why are they so aggro “ 😟😟😟😱😱 meanwhile they basically shove the phone into their faces looking like crackheads 💩💩
Great vid though. Brennen, you have to start bringing cash with you on these 😂
I don’t think he was being rude or anything gotta respect some people’s decision on being filmed
O boy guys ? Cheers 🥂 😊
He stood on business he asked you nicely not to do something while you then just continued to do it. It was your behavior that was inappropriate not his
Its normal for most people not to like a camera shoved in their face.
I think you guys should work at a restaurant for a little while. It doesn’t benefit anyone to “ scam”. People forget things, they’re human. Also don’t be quick to blame the waitress. Chefs forget things/ mess up orders too.
Patty was fire......That my jam right there...gp down to Tennessee and find that small town bartender..
Not everyone is comfortable being on camera especially when they don’t know what the footage is being used for. Next time think about that before telling your followers to go bash a small business because someone didn’t do what YOU wanted. (Mind you 2 of your minions did go on to Yelp and referenced this video and gave a bad review) shame on the two of you.
I wanna go on Yelp and support the business and let them know about this video . Maybe they can sue Brennan and expand 😂 . Dude I can’t stand Brennan anymore after this
@@moocowcow4744This was the first time I’ve ever commented on a social platform but after checking Yelp and seeing people bash the business, I was disgusted and felt the need to say something
@@rahwabahta5034 me too I’m the beginning he called a dark skin man monkey after he knew the name was pronounced like ( moon key ) . He has since deleted that part where him and Jake were in the car and he goes to Jake “ what was his name anyway monkey ?!”
@@rahwabahta5034 I was able to get the bad reviews on Yelp removed by reporting lol
@@moocowcow4744wow that’s amazing!!!
I use to be a fan but lately your attitude has been holier then thou. Us “normies” aren’t comfortable with two random dudes throwing a camera in our face while we are trying to make a living. Also then telling your fans to review them on yelp fraudulently. I’m sorry but you’re in the wrong here and you have been for awhile now
you guys are nuts, I would have bailed on that donut place
On me the last place too if they being hostile I ain’t trusting it and I don’t wanna give them money or popularity from the video
After getting burned once using his credit card on places like that you would think he would have cash only every time
@dontpanic716 it's all about the clicks. It's not about anything else.
If they wasn't pointing a camera or phone at them maybe it would have been normal service like a normal day instead of a spectacle.
I like that you kids are bringing back mustaches. I'm 58 and have not sported a mustache since 1994.
By the way, I think the bartender/cook at the Batter's box was kind of hot!
Slowly becoming the next Logan paul

I swear this has got to be my favorite series on TH-cam. Great job guys
Best videos ever keep it up guys. 👍🏽
Dude was not being rude at all. Plus the first time he asked you trolled and said it was a ps4. Then you want to go and basically imply that fans should rank this place on yelp. Self centred TH-camrs man. Find shame
The last dude yes he was aggressive but got to respect that some people don't wanna be recorded but another good video brennen ❤️❤️ love you
i usually like your videos but this one seemed extremely condescending on people who go to these places to get a warm meal. not everyone has the funds to go to some expensive restaurant where a burger is $19. move on to something else my guy
This wasn’t condescending at all. They do both reviews. Fancy places and dive bars. They do videos based on what people want. And a lot of people have wanted them to do this which is why they did it. They are absolutely amazing.
@@wally86411 what I’m saying is the pre judgment of people walking around in the area and the way these restaurants are. Not everyone got to grow up in wealthy sunny California. They judging people without knowing nothing
I know everyone else is already saying it in the comments but they are right, not everyone wants to be filmed. Maybe the dude had a bad experience with someone else filming him, and tbh it makes workers feel like some zoo animal on display. We're just doing our jobs, usually if there's a camera, we think something is up automatically these days. Please learn from this and I hope you take this into consideration in future videos.
5 mins in and I am already peed off at the way they are behaving, the brother is just a shadow copying everything, he waits for the reaction and then says the same or spits out like his brother just did, after watching the Asian supermaret video and now this, these guys are just immature little punks really, they need to go back to the Jamaican foodtruck and be scared into humility.
I really like this series! 😊 keep doin them!
You were the one wrong here, stop filming people just doing their jobs. Also so terrible of you to try and have the internet go after them. Do better.
The expressions on your faces says it all. LOL!!
Maybe next time just respect that the person didn’t want to be recorded and just stop recording. I’m sure it won’t hurt to edit around it. Have courtesy of others.
