    I wanted to see where precisely you actually put the liquid detergent. I have no idea.

      @poultrypants ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you put it in the same place as the powdered detergent (the main compartment), but you have to insert the little plastic bit that comes inside the compartment. The plastic thing is if you are using liquid detergent.

      @@poultrypants Is it normal for the liquid detergent to drain from the main wash compartment into the drum, when the plastic insert guide is correctly installed and the washing machine is turned off? shouldn't the main wash liquid detergent always stay in the main wash compartment unless there's water filling the compartment up, the exactly same way as the softener compartment doesn't allow the liquid softener to drain unless water is filling it up? I ask because if I set the prewash option to ON, and I add powder to the prewash compartment, and liquid detergent to the main wash compartment, the liquid detergent from the main wash compartment always drains completely not even 1 minute from the moment I pour it in, and this makes the prewash cycle creating so much foam. Because this plastic insert guide is for some reason designed in such way that there is about a 1mm gap between the main wash compartment floor and the bottom of the plastic insert guide (when it's correctly installed) so it happens that this gap allows the liquid to drain into the drum in a short amount of time. And imagine what happens after the prewash, rinse, and drain is done and the main wash starts? -No detergent in the main wash cycle! So is it something that I'm doing wrong or is the design of this plastic the culprit? Thanks!

      I am also wondering about this.
      But I figure samsung designed the liquid guide to leak for a reason...?

      The manual actually say not to use prewash function when using liquid detergent.

    The liquid guide seems so useless, it does not prevent liquid from going through on the bottom. Or am I misunderstanding something?

    • @cmlnywp
      @cmlnywp 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      its a guide for measuring , not to hold. if you want to use pre wash functions dont use liquid.

    • @stephendunn2733

      Thanks for explaining as the manual calls it a liquid detergent container, which sounds like it is used to hold detergent. Ours never came with one so I'm guessing our model doesn't need it, the manual provides no information as to which models require one. Ours looks exactly like the one in the video so just pour a half a cap full straight in as per the way you demonstrated for powder. I'm also missing something in the translation why liquid detergent can't be used in the main wash, if using pre wash functions.

    • @cmlnywp
      @cmlnywp หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stephendunn2733 its just a guide so its possible that some models missing that part. For samsung eco bubble washers detergent goes into eco bubble box instead going directly to drum, so keeping liquid in container not a big deal. and thats the reason its problem for pre wash function. if you use liquid for prewash, machine will take all detergent in that pre wash then youll have no detergent for mainwash. any prewash cycle u have to use powder for both container.

    About that blue divider - I use both liquid and powder, do I need to remove/insert that thing everytime I use either liquid or powder?
    Seems so inconvenient and I also don't quite understand what the use of that divider is. The manual is superunclear about it and I can't find any info about this :-/

    I feel like a bloody idiot. After wathcing your video, having the exact same washingmachine, I just realised this is why the detergend powder always clumbs up on the main drawer. Because i added the plastic flip thing for liquid detergent. Thanks for the video!

    I’ve noticed that with this machine when washing the softener smell doesn’t smell on the clothes after it’s down. Should I add the fabric softener before the start of the wash or just before the spin cycle in order for the clothes to smell nice? Thanks for any response

    • @how2not22
      @how2not22  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Add softener before the spin for best results. I add softerner at the start because I always forget to add it later.

      @@csibesz07 Supposedly it's just a fill guide - I didn't get one and stumbled across this video in my search to find one. Per Samsung: "The "receptacle" in the detergent drawer is actually a fill guide. As shown in the picture below, it installs upright to give you a fill indicator for the liquid detergent. If you install it upside down, the fill line shows the recommended level for powdered detergent. Fill the drawer to the MAX line indicated."
