I (or my immediate family) have personally owned 4 Vizio TVs (50” - 70”)and a soundbar. The oldest one being from around 2014. All still working. One of the TVs has even moved overseas and back with me. I’m not a hardcore gamer, so I can’t speak to that, but the Vizio has met our needs perfectly. I mostly stream from my phone/iPad or from my Apple TV. I’ve seen many people dislike or be impartial towards their smart cast system. The main reason I don’t mind it is because I usually use my phone as the remote. There’s no need to scroll through the Home Screen when you do that. Just select the app you want to open. Easy day. Glad to see they’re giving us something new soon.
Vizio has great displays being that they just source from other manufacturers. My main issue with them is software. My OLED barely boots up and has constant software issues. Hope these TV get more support at least. You are definitely paying for cheaper software support.
Wow so no more OLED’s from Vizio? That’s disappointing i own the one they made and it is amazing especially with the firmware updates it’s so good I wonder why they didn’t continue!
My 2015 M series literally just died 2wks ago. It only my 2nd tv to ever die on me. The other one being a Sharp Aquos from 2006 that died on me 2yrs ago. I can’t wait for DK’s reviews so I know which one to buy.
My 2023 v series has excellent picture quality 300 free channels built in plenty of apps easy casting has air play and very slim bezels what's not to like for a budget price
@@ATH-camChannelwithNoName late response, but yes I would. The M series is a great value and overall great picture quality. I’m hoping that the next P Series is going to worth the wait.
We have a 65" M7 series from 2019 and it likes to randomly reboot. Fun. Also we haven't used the "smart" features for over a year; opting instead for the Amazon Firestick. The Smartcast system is slow and clunky, and it hardly has any apps. I'd be interested to know how many people actually use the apps on their TV vs how many people use a streaming device.
Most lower end smart TVs have that problem. I have the same problem from day one. With my JVC 70ich 4k Oled. The software is outdated even if it's 2022 tv lol. They sell older unused parts. I have google Tv and that never once had problem. But I always used the Tvs software. Because it works better when I side load moive apps.. 🤫
I had a higher end Vizio tv and that turned on and turned off on it’s own. Vizio has the worst quality control when it comes to TVs. They do make great soundbars though.
I had a wonderful Vizio for at least 16 years, I tilted it forward to clean back and pop! It blew entire board, so please always unplu if you tilt it. If I can save someone from having a tv death it’ll be worth it all.
Vizio used to be my go to for solid budget TVs but they’ve been getting beat out in the market lately. They’re definitely my go to for a budget sound bar tho. Can’t wait to see if this years tv offer some real value again.
hey Vizio CEO i know you see my comment since Cnet is the best reviewing organisation you indeed gonna watch this review we want vizio in middle east please come here or at least sell your TV in wholesale so ppl here can buy it and enjoy real TV for affordable price
Vizio used to be a nice budget TV with great specs for the money; but TCL and Hisense in particular are really bringing it in the budget and midrange. No new P Series is pretty disappointing.
Funny, after 1 and half year of hassle I've experienced with my vizio oled, specially the buggy firmware, features straight up broken for months and even CEC unreliability, youtube puts this on my recommendation list. Such a satire!
It's unfortunate that Vizio has a significant quality control issue with many negative reviews online. I think these budget tvs are hit or miss and according to people I've talked to who've purchased them, more misses.
I have a M quantum in a 55 it's 3 years old and works perfect, I'm not a gamer and don't watch a ton of TV, but the picture quality is fantastic, I just purchased a 43 4k v series for my bedroom. And the best part it hasn't cost a fortune 👍
I guess they didn't want to invest in continuing to make OLED TVs. Maybe they felt they couldn't compete with LG and Sony OLEDS. So doesn't that mean I have a classic one and only OLED Vizio OLED they made? Thank God I have a good panel with no problems. No it's not as good as a LG OLED or a Sony OLED but it is a LG panel and it's still a OLED regardless. It has deep blacks and infinite contrast and good shadow detail. The motion could be better as well as the processing but I'm satisfied with the content I like to watch. I don't use the external smartcast I use a very good Roku 4K streaming stick instead. So I'm pretty happy with the TV overall.
I have a 2019 Vizio M series, and though the display quality is amazing, the software seriously bobbles down the overall experience. It takes quite a while to boot occasionally, and even reboots randomly. Plus, the wi-fi connection occasionally completely cuts out until you unplug and re-plug the tv. Despite it being a really good price point, I wouldn't recommend a vizio tv
@@angelc9722 what you I get that is better than samsung cu7000 and budget much be between $200 to 300 like how the samsung tv cost? I'm having trouble finding the best tv on best buy.
Damn I ain't going to lie I would like to have that bus right there and it's go around from City to City playing video games host tournaments and charge players to play just to pay for my gas Damn I'll be awesome
MR VIZIO M55Q7-H1 (M-Series) I think there is a horrible and common issue with their M Series. Panels often goes black with red veritcals. Me and my dad both bought in October 2020, same model sighted above. After 2 years Panels dead. :(. And support is poor in terms directions.
Vizio always has great displays but their horrible software always ruins the experience, had my tv for like 4 years and they never got rid of the bugs. every single vizio tv ive ever had ,had annoying bugs they never addressed. my next tv will be an LG for sure
Vizio makes good TV's.. But there is nothing that stands out against the Competition.. They are a safe pick for a Mid-Range TV.. Not a fan of the Smart Cast Prefer Google or Android TV OS.. You can sideload Apps and more customization.
Vizio is trash. Source: i bought one that was good until thier forced updates took away all of the reliability of the tv, and made it into a really horribly perfoming roku device. The tv hardly works now. It loses its internet all the time, it never boots right up, the sound levels are wonky as hel, and if the tv does work, its only to force ads and or updates. I can NEVER just turn on the tv and be watching or playing something in under five minutes. Never again will i give vizio money for anything.
So no new OLED or P series or p quantum x?! What a pathetic line up!!! Hoping this new firmware update fixes my 2021 p series or I’m switching manufacturers

My favorite part is paying thousands of dollars for a new tv and getting served unremovable ads on the home screen!
Roku TV has them as well but they aren't as obnoxious
That's just TVs in 2022 unfortunately; no one even has the option to opt out at all anymore.
Like Samsung?
Get an Apple TV 4K and you don’t have to deal with Home Screen ads
Good thing Vizio TVs are good value and don't cost an arm and a leg
Huh, I literally saw this bus parked up outside of my hotel in Addison, TX 2 days ago.

Facts I’m constantly having to turn my tv off and on to have it sync to the sound bar. And both are Vizio
That m series for 800 sounds amazing

Is the soundbar hdmi 2.1? 🤔
The old elevate wasn’t

When is the 50 inch m series (gaming) tv going to be released? And the new m series elevate sound bar?
I hope this brings down the price of the old elevate
Why don't they go for Google tv os or fire tv os
My 4K vizio tv lasted me 3 years. My brothers lasted 1. I think we’re okay on getting another Vizio
I had a 65 inch Vizio for 6 years. Screen started to show dark spots.

You mean 2022. Doesn’t 2023 get announced at ‘23 CES?
So is Vizio done with OLED?
the last tv i bought was from 2006
Is it still working? And what brand is it?
2007 Vizio for me. Still using it till this day.

I need Roku because I put that on the porch falling still kick it. Son got mad throwing it down still work after 3 years…
I hope vizio will be released on philippines its a good price for its specs even on gaming tv.
I bought one of the first 4k tvs Vizio had to offer. The video board failed me twice and for $1600 I'm disappointed that it lasted roughly 3 years.
Crazy, 1080P, 24" for under $200. I remember in 1997 my company bought 24" flat-screen TVs for $25,000/each.
I bet those were 720p too!
Really wish they would have gone fully Google TV instead of Chromecast.
After all of the software issues that I encountered with 2022 model Vizio tv's. I'm definitely going Sony in 2023.
Nice Vizio TV line up are good
Vizio I'm still waiting on my update..
We just got one and it looks amazing. But the menu Holly cow. To much going on

Wow you can count. How come you haven't reviewed the 9k contact lenses. CNET is asleep
No new OLED TV? I guess the last one was such a disaster so they gave up
Vizio needs to step up their software game
No new oled then

Have them bring back 3d tv…..
Get rid of those stupid adds
I hate smartcast. At least let me hide apps I do not use
Not a great lineup at all to me. No new P series? They are lagging behind the competition. Not impressed.
Unless they announce a P Series update later on. Maybe mini LED.
Dony buy VIZO D the Leds only last three years they turn blue
2023???????????
this seems like regression. i have 2021 m series with fald and 3d and a 240 hz panel that still works.
