I love this! Someone like me who only knows super basic meals. This video helps my chicken taste BOMBTASTIC! I love how you give such a great step by step with reasons on why you do it. I did not know your chicken needs air flow for proper cooking i usually atuff em in there and pray but lifting them off the pan makes them like rotisserie chicken at the store. Winning! 🎉
I’ve been doing everything from fish, pork chops, chicken legs and now this with the same ingredients -Garlic powder -Garlic Salt -Onion Powder -Salt/pepper -Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning -Cayenne Pepper So no doubt this is gonna be good, thank you🤝🏼
Cooking Horizon, this recipe is great ! I ate two large chicken legs because they were so delicious ! I always wash my chicken meat before cooking anything, it’s a good practice. I subscribed to you channel 💕
Wow the chicken looks so delicious and crispy I'm gonna be making this for supper for me and my husband it's just us two thank you for sharing this video have a blessed day 🙏❤️💯🤤🤤
I can’t wait to give this a try tomorrow. You are an amazing narrator, and the camera angles and lighting are very good too. Great content. Keep it coming!!!
Hi! Actually, I’m coming back with a video next week itself. I had to take a long unexpected break due to my tough pregnancy followed by a tough afterbirth. But I’m back now! I’ll start uploading videos as early as next week hopefully. Keep supporting me! Thank you so much! 🙂
To make the skin crispy pour a thin stream of boiling water on it before anything else, it will shrink, then crisp and shrink more after baking with no need to broil
I enjoyed watching your video and recipe as I'm getting ready to cook 4 leg quarters and want them crispy. I have some OTHER specific seasonings that I will be using but I now have a better understanding on how to get mine crispy so thank you for that. One comment tho, you really should be doing these with out wearing your jewelry. I understand you like what you're wearing BUT...... jewelry should be taken off when doing food prep and cooking. Thanks again for sharing the video.
I used paprika but not too much, I also added garlic powder, salt and pepper, and Sweet Chilli seasoning because that’s all I had on hand. Turned out yummy 😋
Wishful thinking on your part, but to your disappointment, it did not turn out dry for me or for my many many other viewers who have tried and executed the recipe. Thanks to my viewers who have made the effort to try and then left positive feedbacks. Had you actually tried and left a feedback, even if it was negative, I’d appreciate it.
@rollin60z I made this for dinner last night and it turned out crispy and browned on outside and moist and juicy on inside. I had my reservations cooking it at 425 F for 35-40 min. I did rinse the chicken with water and dried it with paper towel. I didn’t have the spices the recipe called for, so I used salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and sweet chili seasoning. Instead of butter, I used a tiny bit of cooking oil. Turned out absolutely perfect and so tasty, I was quite surprised. I hope you try it. 🌻🥘
425 is a very high temp and when you use a rack and it’s uncovered it cooks a little bit faster bc the heat is evenly surrounding the chicken. You’re not cooking it low and slow in this case
I cooked it at 425 F for 40 minutes, uncovered and it was thoroughly cooked inside. Make sure you pre-heat your oven to 425F and only then put your chicken in the over, that’s important.😋

Loved your recipe and your voice.
Can we use dried thyme and the air fryer instead ? Thx for recipe
Yes, you can use dried thyme; in fact, you can use any seasoning of your choice. I haven’t tried it in the air fryer but I believe it should work.
do u flip chicken halfway through
No
What do I do with the butter after I melt it you only said put it to the side??
It was brushed on the bottom side of the chicken before the seasonings. But not on the top/skin side. Just seasoning on that side.
Great job... thank you
Thank you,
Nice Video ,Perfect Recipe Thank you .......
Start out on bake or just broil?
Bake
It’s good
what kind of paper?
Parchment paper.
Thanks
Yayyy my favorite!!!
Thank you very much! :)
2:31 🗣 “Please be generous with all your seasoning”
Please, I noticed this too. Did not massage the seasonings in or let it sit in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
195° internal temp breaks down collagen & makes dark meat more tender. Otherwise nice method 👍
Thanks!
Also put seasoning under the skin
Hi, Taz... Why have you stopped making videos? I love your recipes...

Don't wash chicken ffs.
I agree.
Washed ? Please don’t wash chicken sheesh
Wash please
She didn’t do this right at all.
Chicken has to be washed
@@sirand350No it doesn’t!
Its tastes better washed.
1min in and can already tell she doesn’t know what she’s doing 😂 washing chicken; and 425 degree oven 🤦🏿♂️ I bet this turns out super dry

40 minutes ? Uh, NO. Unless you like your chicken nice and bloody. 🙄🤢
